Abstract

Religious moderation is one of the priority programs of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. This discourse was developed and socialized in such a way as to address various cases of intolerance that lead to crimes in the name of religion. Within the scope of Christianity, religious moderation which contains the values of openness and acceptance is found in one of the ancient traditions of Christianity, namely hospitality. In this article, the author will examine the concept of hospitality according to Christine Pohl's writings and its implications in the discourse on Religious Moderation, especially in North Sulawesi. The research method used is a qualitative method based on literature study.

Abstract

Pembahasan ini mengenai bagaimana bidang Pelayanan pastoral dan konseling bagi individu penyandang disabilitas melalui pemanfaatan pendekatan kualitatif deskripsi. Tujuan utama dari penelitian iniadalah untuk menegenali dan memahami persyaratan emosional dan spiritual orang-orang dengan kebutuhan khusus, Bersama dengan mengeksplorasi bagaimana pelayanan pastoral dapat secara efektif memenuhi kebutuhan ini. Kerangka teoritis yang diadopsi dalam penelitian ini mencakup teori konseling pastoral dan teori kebutuhan manusia yang mendasar, secara metodologis, penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa individu dengan kebutuhan khusus memiliki kebutuhan emosional dan spiritual yang unik ynag belum ditangani secara mendalam. Pelayanan pastoral yang mahir dapat menawarkan dukungan emosional, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, dengan menekankan pentingnya memberikan perlayanan pastoral yang selaras dan responsive terhadap kebutuhan khas individu dengan kebutuhan khusus. This discussion is about how the field of pastoral and counseling services for individuals with disabilities uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The main aim of this research is to recognize and understand the emotional and spiritual requirements of people with special needs, together with exploring how pastoral care can effectively meet these needs. The theoretical framework adopted in this research includes pastoral counseling theory and fundamental human needs theory. Methodologically, this research uses in-depth interviews and participant observation. Findings reveal that individuals with special needs have unique emotional and spiritual needs that have not been addressed in depth. Skilled pastoral care can offer emotional support, increase self-confidence, by emphasizing the importance of providing pastoral care that is attuned and responsive to the unique needs of individuals with special needs.

Abstract

Abstract The study discussed the relationship between a consumer lifestyle and domestic violence. A consumptive life-style often involves excessive spending to satisfy personal wants without considering the needs or financial balance of the home. Studies show that financial pressures from a consumer lifestyle can be a factor that triggers or aggravates domestic violence. Factors such as financial tensions, unfulfilled feelings, and money-related conflicts can increase marital tension and cause violent incidents. The research methodology used is the research methodology of service learning research aimed at connecting education with the community and its needs.
