Abstract

A country that has multiethnic and multimental uniqueness like Indonesia is faced with its own dilemma, on the one hand bringing Indonesia to become a great nation as a multicultural nation-state, but on the other hand it is a threat. So it is not an exaggeration to say that multicultural conditions are like coals in husks which are easily ignited and heat up at any time. Indonesia has great potential for conflicts between groups, ethnic groups, religions and ethnic groups. One of the indications is that various social, professional, religious, and organizations or groups have started to thrive and are struggling and acting on behalf of group interests which lead to SARA (ethnic, religious, racial and inter-group) conflicts. To produce valid and reliable data, this paper uses a qualitative writing style. In producing logical data, this paper performs several stages of data sorting in the form of: 1). Data reduction, 2). Display data, 3). Verifying data, and 4). Interpreting research data. In its presentation, measurable analysis becomes the basis for processing the data obtained. The perfection of this paper cannot be separated from the library technique which is carried out through an assessment of the existing literature on Google Scholar. Education is the spearhead that is able to restrain and eradicate all harmful doctrines of non-plural and non-multicultural actions which are very appropriate to be applied in the current era in preventing interests and combinations of intolerant understandings in the name of a religion. Strategies in school and implementing a curriculum that emphasizes pluralism and multiculturalism in the current era are very important to be followed up immediately so that misleading intellectual understanding does not multiply ingrained in students' understanding. The role of parents and teachers must be able and synergized in implementing an understanding of the concept of plurality and the plurality of a life so that later students or students understand differences and are able to re-instill heterogeneity. Hinduism in the scope of analysis of pluralism education highly appreciates social diversity. The concept of Hinduism which incidentally is very plural and in its holy book contains teachings about realizing tolerance, namely Widya, Maitri, Ahimsa, and Santi.

Abstract

Conflict between religious communities is a sensitive matter that often occurs. This is due to truth claims about various practices that tend to be different from the teachings of the religion adhered to. Indonesia as a country that embraces pluralism does not escape the turmoil of religious conflicts that characterize the life of the nation, so that it has an impact on the loss of tolerance between people and tends to bring up radical principles and coercion of one belief. To produce valid and reliable data, this paper uses a qualitative writing style. In producing logical data, this paper performs several stages of data sorting in the form of: 1). Data reduction, 2). Display data, 3). Verifying data, and 4). Interpret research data. In its presentation, measurable analysis becomes the foundation in processing the data obtained. The perfection of this paper cannot be separated from the library technique carried out by exploring the existing literature in Google Scholar. Truth claims that are too radical tend to foster a sense of intolerance in a nation, this situation will be used by terrorist elements to build a division of the state through religious cloaks. This situation became the center of attention of the Indonesian government so that a program called "the house of religious moderation" was conceptualized to rebuild the dignity of tolerance between religious communities. The legalization of houses of religious moderation begins through educational institutions which in fact are neutral institutions in a country. It is hoped that intellectuals born in educational institutions will be able to provide a concrete understanding of the importance of maintaining tolerance through the values of Pancasila and religious values that are relevant to the situation and stability of the country.

Abstract

Education is the human medium to know and understand knowledge acquired multidimensionally, both empirical and metaphysical dimensions. Education has the usefulness of forming a man who is speaking, intelligent, and with a character of dignity. As times change, education is faced with cases such as degradation of values that affect the low quality of education. In generating valid and reliable data, this writing is made qualitatively. In producing logical data, it performs some forms of data processing such as data reduction, data display, data verification, and data interpretation. In its presentation, the writing of data on this paper is analyzed measurably and systematically. The data in this paper is taken from various phenomena about the dynamics of education in Indonesia where the specifications are education based on desire that is obtained from various literature books as well as various Internet sources. The existence of Hindu-based education in Indonesia has fundamental differences from other countries in terms of purpose. Each country has its own idealism in pursuing its education to have a clear output. Unlike education in Indonesia specifically related to desire, it is still grey because national education goals are still inclusive and less focused. This situation creates chaos in the Indonesian education system that tends to be still lower than the neighbouring countries. The curriculum is constantly changing with the change of leadership, the student's attributes tend to disappear due to the selfishness and cults of parents, the forced work of teachers and the extra work outside of class, and the low appreciation of the administrators. In order to create a good educational climate, the role of the educational force, the teachers of the discourse, as well as my other teachers should be more optimized in building a more ideal educational paradigm in terms of both character formation, satisfaction of the pupils, efficiency of work, and proper appreciation.

Abstract

Humans' inability to understand God in metaphysical form often gives rise to the need to use symbolic or representational means in an effort to understand or describe a sublime and unattainable existence, one of which is a vital object as a symbol of God for the Balinese Hindu community is the existence of flowers in Every offering is considered as a condition that increases aesthetic passion or a condition within the spirit of human relationship with God of Flowers in Hindu religious practices in Bali. The research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach used to analyze and describe data from literature studies, strengthening understanding about the presence of flowers in rituals. The results of the research are divided into three discussion points (1) The Significance of Flowers in Hindu Religious Rites in Bali (2) Flowers as a Medium of Offerings (3) Spirit and Blessing: The Role of Flowers in Spirituality and the Human Environment, highlighting the importance of flowers in conveying the sincerity of the human heart in religious ceremonies, enrich spirituality, and deepen understanding of God's existence through religious symbols. Based on this, this research attempts to examine in depth the existence of flowers as a means of ritual through depiction or symbolization which allows humans to associate complex and abstract concepts such as God with something more concrete or visible, such as images, symbols, or rituals. This facilitates easier understanding and helps in forming an emotional, spiritual, or even intellectual bond with the concept of God.
