Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah penambahan arang aktif tulang ikan tuna sirip kuning ke dalam air media budidaya ikan lele mampu mereduksi kadar amonia. Analisis data kualitas air disajikan dalam bentuk tabel kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif, sedangkan parameter pertumbuhan di evaluasi dengan Uji T. Penelitian dilakukan selama 30 hari. Pemeliharaan ikan dilakukan  di Laboratorium Terpadu Fakultas Perikanan Universitas Abulyatama Aceh, analisis kadar amonia dilakukan di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan UPTD Balai Pengujian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan, Banda Aceh. Parameter uji kualitas air adalah amonia, suhu, DO dan pH. Parameter pertumbuhan tingkat kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian arang aktif kedalam air media budidaya ikan lele diindikasikan telah mampu mereduksi amonia dimana pada awal penelitian kadar amonia mencapai 0,172 mg/l pada akhir penelitian turun menjadi 0,074 mg/l.

Abstract

The "Gerakan Tebar Lele" (Catfish Release Movement) is a community empowerment program aimed at controlling Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) by utilizing catfish (Clarias sp.) as a natural predator of mosquito larvae. This initiative was carried out in Gampong Ujong XII, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar, to increase public awareness and participation in environmentally friendly vector control. The implementation methods included public education, distribution of catfish seedlings, and monitoring the predation effectiveness of catfish on mosquito larvae in water storage areas. The results indicate increased community knowledge of ecological-based DHF control methods and a reduction in mosquito larvae populations in areas where catfish were introduced. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable alternative solution to reduce DHF cases in the region.

Abstract

Goatfish (Albalites stellaris) is one of the by-catch that is currently only consumed by filleting while the skin is simply thrown away. However, according to several studies, goatfish skin still has high protein and is used to make gelatin. The current shortage of POC circulating in the market has a silica deficiency so that plants do not have sufficient nutrients. This study aims to examine the silica contained in rice husk ash and how to apply POC with goatfish skin and added rice husk ash to kale plants. The research method used is the nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis Test with the SPPS application version 25, the implementation of the manufacture of POC from goatfish skin waste was analyzed by XRF tests, C (carbon), N (nitrogen), P (phosphorus), K (potassium) levels and application to plants. The results of the study showed that P2 had higher macro and micro nutrient content than P1, especially Potassium (K): 28.76% (P2) vs 14.02% (P1), Calcium (Ca): 31.50% (P2) vs 18.36% (P1), Phosphorus (P): 15.55% (P2) vs 11.93% (P1) Zinc (Zn): 0.65% (P2) vs 0.30% (P1). Although P1 is high in Silicon (40.35%), the main elements that support fast growth and green leaves in kale such as K, P, Fe, and Zn are higher in P2. POC from goat-goat fish skin waste without P2 rice husk ash is superior because the higher content of K, P, Ca, Zn, and Fe is very good for the vegetative growth of kale (fast-growing, wide, fresh green leaves) supports photosynthesis, stem strength, and plant resistance. Waste goat-goat fish skin (Albalistes stellaris) can be utilized as a liquid organic fertilizer using traditional fermentation. The addition of rice husk ash to the liquid organic fertilizer of goat-goat fish skin has an effect on growth. Application to kale plants with a comparison of silica and non-silica is known that the best growth of kale plants is on liquid organic fertilizer containing silica at a dose of 3 m1/L.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan produk perikanan yang mengandung  komposisi kimia yang baik untuk tumbuh kembang anak. Komposisi kimia pada Ikan yaitu mengandung asam amino, protein dan asam lemak tak jenuh tinggi yang dibutuhkan oleh anak. Pola konsumsi ikan tawar masih sangat rendah terutama ikan lele. Ikan lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan tawar yang cukup populer di masyarakat. Namun pengolahan ikan lele masih banyak menggunakan cara penggorengan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai produk ikan lele menjadi produk olahan abon ikan. Sehingga memberikan nilai tambah dari produk akhir yang dihasilkan nantinya. Produk olahan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan nilai gizi anak sehingga sangat berpengaruh bagi tumbuh kembang otak anak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan proses transfer pengetahuan kepada masyarakat sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab para akademisi dalam mengembangkan penegtahuan dan teknologi yang diharapakan dapat bermanfaat bagi kehidupan masyarakat.
