Abstract

Teaching and mentoring students in elementary school grade 1 is a big challenge for teachers. These constraints are felt by the teacher during the learning process. There are still students who are difficult and less focused on receiving learning so not a few teachers use unique media so that students can be interested in the material that has been provided. One example of manual learning media that teachers do in introducing letters, numbers, and objects is still using stickers or objects sold in the market. manual learning is good enough, but it does not rule out boredom and lack of responsiveness from students. The development of technology today is very good and has even become something that is very much needed, be it the use of social media, games, or other things. One of the features that kids usually like is Games. Therefore, the combination of using technology, especially learning media by using a laptop or headphones to make quizzes or games with the theme of learning using Kahoot to help teachers provide learning with unique media that students like. make students more interested and more creative in the learning process.

Abstract

The representation process for mapping malnutrition rates in the Waingapu City District area does not yet use computer technology, so the process of monitoring malnutrition rates in each region is still not presented well. This certainly makes it difficult for cadres and the Health Service to monitor the rate of malnutrition in the Waingapu City District Area. Therefore, it is necessary to build an information system that is able to provide data, both in the form of graphs and maps, for mapping malnutrition rates in the Waingapu City District area. The design and development of this information system was carried out using data collection methods and direct interviews with the Waingapu City Health Service, by looking for other references related to similar research. The aim of designing a web-based geographic information system for data collection on malnutrition sufferers is to help the community and the Health Service in monitoring and handling cases of malnutrition in the Waingapu City District area. This Geographic Information System will display malnutrition data based on sub-districts using color polygons as signs that provide information about safe conditions or conditions that require further treatment. The method used in creating a website is waterfall and goes through six stages, namely: the Reguirement Analysis (Analysis), Design (design), Development (coding), Testing (trial), and maintenance (maintenance) stages and system testing is carried out using black box.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 2 Waingapu mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pembayaran SPP berbasis web untuk mengatasi kendala pencatatan manual yang rentan kesalahan, kompleks, dan memakan waktu. Sistem ini terintegrasi dengan database keuangan sekolah, memberikan notifikasi pembayaran yang belum terbayar, dan menghasilkan laporan real-time yang dapat diakses oleh pihak sekolah dan orang tua/wali murid. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi administratif, memudahkan pembayaran SPP, dan meminimalisir kesalahan pencatatan, sehingga memberikan solusi terstruktur untuk permasalahan pengelolaan pembayaran SPP di SMK Negeri 2 Waingapu. Pengujian black box dan fungsionalitas menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai spesifikasi, dengan skor tanggapan responden 100% berada dalam kriteria Baik. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan pembayaran SPP, memudahkan orang tua/wali murid dalam melakukan pembayaran SPP, dan meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan administrasi pembayaran SPP

Abstract

The certificate service at the Patamawai Village Office is currently not computerized or integrated, so it is inefficient. The certificate service's inefficiency causes village residents to visit the village office several times if documents or requirements still need to be completed. Another obstacle is that people must wait quite a long time when the Village Head is away from the office; they have to wait for village staff for quite a long time. Many village residents are also processing different certificates, and many certificates are scattered and even lost. This research aims to create an information system for submitting certificates in Patamawai Village to make it easier for the community to process certificates as one solution to this problem. Three types of certificate services are provided in this information system: Certificate of Incapacity, Certificate of Business, and Certificate of Traditional Marriage. This research was conducted in Patamawai Village, Mahu District, East Sumba Regency, from May to July 2024. This information system was built using the Waterfall method because the information system is made more structured. The information system was created using the Hypertext Preprocessor programming language, while the user interface was created using Balsamiq Mockups. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. This information system was tested using black-box testing and SUS testing. The black box testing results show that all test results correspond to the expected results in each scenario. Thus, the black box test results have a success percentage of 100%. These results show that the certificate information system runs smoothly. The certificate information system that has been created has an average SUS score of 84.3, so it is categorized as a grade of A based on the SUS test. Thus, the information system for submitting certificates in Patamawai Village is ready to be used by residents and staff to facilitate the processing of certificates in the village.

Abstract

Based on the results of the identification of the needs of tourists looking for lodging in the city of Waingapu, there is a lack of spatial information (latitude and longitude), non-spatial (owner's name, price, facilities, address, contact) with the nearest route. Although available on google maps, it is still lacking because it is still incorporated with hotels, boarding houses and other housing. Therefore, a Web-based Geographic Information System for Mapping the Distribution of Homestay Locations in the Waingapu City Area of East Sumba is made to provide recommendations to tourists who need lodging in accessing Homestayinformation by determining the user's location point and the nearest Homestay will appear. Maps will direct to the location of the selected lodging house accompanied by the desired information. This system was built using the PHP programming language with the MySQL Database. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model for system development and Euclidean Distance for the calculation of the closest distance.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sumba Timur saat ini masih memerlukan pengembangan dalam kegiatan mempromosikan pariwisata yang belum terkoordinasi dan penyajian informasi yang belum efisien, dalam memberikan informasi mengenai tempat atau dan beberapa wisata yang ada di wilayah Sumba Timur yang meliputi bidang wisata alam dan wisata budaya yang memerlukan bantuan teknologi. Tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah sistem agar mempermudah Dinas Pariwisata dalam memberikan informasi secara lengkap kepada wisatawan dan dapat mengetahui titik lokasi serta informasi pariwisata di Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Extreme Programming (XP), dengan tahapan perencanaan, pemodelan, konstruksi, dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Pariwisata pada Kabupaten Sumba Timur berbasis Web. Sistem ini menyajikan informasi pariwisata secara lengkap, mulai dari deskripsi, foto, koordinat lokasi, dan beberapa informasi pendukung lainnya. Selain itu, sistem ini juga menyediakan fitur pencarian dan pemetaan pariwisata yang dapat membantu wisatawan dalam merencanakan perjalanan mereka di Kabupaten Sumba Timur.

Abstract

SMA Negeri Lewa Tidahu is one of the educational institutions that conducts the process of admitting new students, an annual activity that is still carried out manually. However, with the current development of digital media, nearly every group across various age levels requires fast internet connectivity. The issues faced include inefficient document management, frequent errors by prospective students in filling out manual registration forms, and unclear writing on the forms submitted to the school, making them difficult for operators to read. This results in inefficiency in terms of time and inaccuracies in data entry. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new student admission system that allows students to access detailed information. This system is designed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, design, programming, Black Box testing, SUS evaluation, and maintenance. The implementation of this new student admission system will simplify the process for users.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a nutritional status data collection system at Posyandu Latalanyir using height and weight indicators based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This system is designed to simplify the process of measuring and collecting data on the nutritional status of toddlers, as well as increasing the accuracy and efficiency of data processing. The approach used involves using an ultrasonic sensor to measure body height, an HX711 load cell sensor to measure body weight, and an ESP8266 module to send data to the Blynk platform. The collected data will be processed to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) and sent to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring. The results of this research show that the system developed can measure height and weight accurately, as well as provide nutritional status data that can be easily accessed by health workers at posyandu. The conclusion of this research is that the IoT system developed is effective in improving the quality of nutritional status data collection in posyandu, as well as providing significant benefits in monitoring the nutritional development of toddlers.

Abstract

Flooding can occur due to overflowing water during the rainy season, therefore early detection of the water level in dams as water runoff processing structures is needed. When heavy rain occurs it can result in flood disasters that are detrimental to communities, dam infrastructure and agricultural land. This research aims to monitor water levels online as initial information about impending flood disasters. Monitoring using Internet of Things (IoT) based technology is intended to obtain water level information in real time. In this device the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is used as a water level reader, a waterflow sensor as a water discharge reader and a servo motor as a sluice gate controller. The results of this research are a prototype of a water level detection device that can provide water level information and can control sluice gates. automatically and can be controlled manually or remotely via the latest notifications in the Blynk application using the MQTT protocol. This research was carried out by taking information based on the results of direct observations and interviews with officers at Kambaniru Dam, Lambanapu Village, Kambera District. In this way, the prototype of this detection tool will be easy to use as initial information about the possibility of flooding.
