Abstract

SMA Negeri Lewa Tidahu is one of the educational institutions that conducts the process of admitting new students, an annual activity that is still carried out manually. However, with the current development of digital media, nearly every group across various age levels requires fast internet connectivity. The issues faced include inefficient document management, frequent errors by prospective students in filling out manual registration forms, and unclear writing on the forms submitted to the school, making them difficult for operators to read. This results in inefficiency in terms of time and inaccuracies in data entry. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new student admission system that allows students to access detailed information. This system is designed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, design, programming, Black Box testing, SUS evaluation, and maintenance. The implementation of this new student admission system will simplify the process for users.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a nutritional status data collection system at Posyandu Latalanyir using height and weight indicators based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This system is designed to simplify the process of measuring and collecting data on the nutritional status of toddlers, as well as increasing the accuracy and efficiency of data processing. The approach used involves using an ultrasonic sensor to measure body height, an HX711 load cell sensor to measure body weight, and an ESP8266 module to send data to the Blynk platform. The collected data will be processed to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) and sent to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring. The results of this research show that the system developed can measure height and weight accurately, as well as provide nutritional status data that can be easily accessed by health workers at posyandu. The conclusion of this research is that the IoT system developed is effective in improving the quality of nutritional status data collection in posyandu, as well as providing significant benefits in monitoring the nutritional development of toddlers.

Abstract

Flooding can occur due to overflowing water during the rainy season, therefore early detection of the water level in dams as water runoff processing structures is needed. When heavy rain occurs it can result in flood disasters that are detrimental to communities, dam infrastructure and agricultural land. This research aims to monitor water levels online as initial information about impending flood disasters. Monitoring using Internet of Things (IoT) based technology is intended to obtain water level information in real time. In this device the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is used as a water level reader, a waterflow sensor as a water discharge reader and a servo motor as a sluice gate controller. The results of this research are a prototype of a water level detection device that can provide water level information and can control sluice gates. automatically and can be controlled manually or remotely via the latest notifications in the Blynk application using the MQTT protocol. This research was carried out by taking information based on the results of direct observations and interviews with officers at Kambaniru Dam, Lambanapu Village, Kambera District. In this way, the prototype of this detection tool will be easy to use as initial information about the possibility of flooding.

Abstract

Along with the advancement of time, technology in the era of globalization demands that humans work more professionally, and it is required in various fields or public institutions and organizations that use computers to support operational activities and internet networks across different levels of society. SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru is one of the Junior High Schools located in Mauliru Village, Kambera District, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This school has a mission to improve the quality of education and always strives to provide quality guidance to its students. The payment of the Committee Fund is an agreement among the parents or guardians of students to support the school's needs that are not covered by the BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds. One of the school's operational activities that is essential for supporting the Committee Fund payment system still uses a conventional system, particularly in the preparation and payment of the committee fund, where a ledger book is still used for recording payments. This results in a long process and frequent errors in ledger book entries. The Committee Fund is a recurring payment that students must pay to the school once a month. The purpose of this research is to create a Web-Based Committee Fund Payment Information System at SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru to facilitate the school treasurer in recording committee fund payments in the ledger book. This research uses the waterfall development method. Waterfall is the most commonly used software development model. Several stages in the waterfall model include: Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. Based on the results obtained, the average value of 70% falls within the "acceptable" range with a grade scale of "C" and adjective ratings in the "OK" category. Thus, the developed payment information system is suitable for simplifying the committee payment process for students.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini telah membawa dampak signifikan di berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru, merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru. Proses penerimaan dilakukan secara tertulis, yang sering kali menimbulkan sejumlah permasalahan. Beberapa di antaranya adalah kesalahan dalam pengolahan data akibat metode yang masih manual, banyaknya data calon siswa yang harus diolah, serta kesulitan dalam pencarian data siswa karena data tersebut berbentuk tumpukan Formulir. Selain itu, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk proses seleksi menjadi tidak efisien karena petugas harus memeriksa persyaratan pendaftaran calon siswa satu per satu. Informasi kepada calon siswa juga tidak dapat diberikan dengan cepat karena mereka harus datang langsung ke sekolah untuk mendapatkannya. Proses ujian seleksi pun sering mengalami kendala, khususnya dalam pelaporan hasil ujian. Hal ini menyebabkan pengumuman hasil ujian menjadi terlambat. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pembangunan aplikasi pengolahan nilai rapor untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut berbasis web menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempermudah pendaftaran dan mempersingkat waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses seleksi siswa baru. Pengujian Black Box menunjukkan semua fungsi aplikasi yang dibuat berhasil berjalan sesuai yang diharapkan dengan presentasi 100% dan pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) mendapatkan nilai 80.25 sehingga diketahui bahwa aplikasi ini dapat digunakan dengan baik.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) merupakan teknologi yang memudahkan visualisasi dan analisis data spasial, berguna dalam berbagai bidang termasuk kesehatan. Salah satu penerapannya adalah pemantauan status gizi balita, dimana masalah gizi dapat berdampak serius terhadap pertumbuhan balita. Di Kecamatan Rindi, Sumba Timur terdapat 200 kasus balita dengan masalah gizi, namun pemantauan gizi masih dilakukan dengan menggunakan peta manual yang tidak dimutakhirkan secara berkala. Hal ini menghambat efektivitas program intervensi gizi karena proses pemantauan data dilakukan secara manual dan kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan SIG berbasis web untuk memetakan status gizi balita di Kecamatan Rindi. Sistem dirancang dengan menggunakan metode waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Metode ini dipilih untuk memastikan bahwa pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara terstruktur dan menyeluruh. SIG yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi yang akurat dan real time, sehingga memudahkan dalam mengidentifikasi desa-desa yang memiliki masalah gizi. Hasil pengujian Black Box menunjukkan bahwa seluruh menu pada sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan dari hasil pengujian SUS diperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 78,25 yang menunjukkan bahwa penilaian Status Gizi Balita SIG di Kecamatan Rindi adalah Cukup dengan kategori penilaian Baik.

Abstract

Di era modern, radio online menjadi solusi inovatif yang memungkinkan pendengar menikmati konten audio secara fleksibel tanpa batasan geografis dan waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan platform radio online berbasis website untuk Radio Suara Pengharapan, yang menghadapi tantangan kehilangan pendengar selama pandemi COVID-19. Platform ini dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan penyiaran rohani masyarakat Sumba Timur. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang melibatkan tahap perencanaan, desain workshop, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform radio online berhasil menarik kembali pendengar lama dan menjangkau audiens baru dengan skor System Usability Scale (SUS) rata-rata 82, yang masuk dalam kategori "Excellent". Penelitian ini memperkuat peran inovasi teknologi dalam media penyiaran dan mendukung identitas keagamaan masyarakat melalui konten interaktif yang relevan.
