Abstract

This study aims to determine the macro and micro structures as well as cognition and social context in the news coverage of "Could the Mario-Rubicon Case 'Destroy' Trust in Taxes?" in CNN Indonesia by using the critical discourse analysis approach of Teun A van Dijk. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, namely research that aims to present a complete picture of social conditions. In other words, this research aims to investigate and clarify a phenomenon or social reality. Data sources in this study are divided into primary and secondary data sources. The primary data source was obtained from an online news article entitled “Could the Mario-Rubicon Case 'Break' Trust in Taxes?” from CNN Indonesia, while secondary data sources are in the form of journal articles, book references, and other relevant documents and supports. The stages of data analysis in this study started from suspicion, classification, and data interpretation. Based on the research results, the macro structure in the news is the alleged case of showing off assets in the form of a Rubicon which was committed by Mario Dandy Satrio as the son of the Head of the General Section of the DGT Ministry of Finance South Jakarta Regional Office II which will impact public trust in paying taxes. In the microstructure there are elements, including coherence (including additive coherence, conditional coherence, differentiating coherence), denial, sentence form, pronouns, setting, detail, intent, lexicon, and graphics. The social context in the news is shown through the economic recovery after the start of the easing of Covid-19 so that matters related to finance and taxes become more sensitive among the public.

Abstract

This research aims to, (1) describe the process of developing procedural text teaching materials containing local wisdom using the Google Sites website, (2) describe the form of developing procedural text teaching materials containing local wisdom in Simalungun using the Google Sites website, and (3) describe the feasibility of teaching materials procedure text containing local Simalungun wisdom with the help of the Google Sites website. The development of procedural text teaching materials containing Simalungun local wisdom with the help of the Google Sites website uses the ADDIE model which is limited to only going through the analysis, design and development stages. The validation stage involved material expert lecturers, media expert lecturers and two Indonesian language teachers. The sample for this research was 31 class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Siantar using the Purposive Sample technique. Data collection techniques were interviews and questionnaires. The research instrument was a validation questionnaire sheet for material experts and media experts using Likert scale calculations. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the product of procedural text teaching materials containing Simalungun local wisdom with the help of the Google Sites website received the "Very Good" criteria with an average of 88.85%, with results from material experts of 83.41% with the "Very Good" criteria. The results from media experts were 88% with the criteria "Very Good" and Indonesian language teachers 92% and 90%, so that the teaching materials were suitable for use as supporting teaching materials in the learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan jenis nilai-nilai didaktis yang terdapat dalam novel Titik Potong karya Rio S. Pambudi. Peneliti juga ingin mengetahui nilai didaktis yang lebih dominan di dalam novel Titik Potong karya Rio S. Pambudi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif interpretatif. Dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti ditemukan 14 nilai didaktis yaitu nilai kesabaran, nilai kegigihan dan keuletan, nilai empati, nilai saling berbagi, nilai menolong sesama, nilai kejujuran, nilai kesetiaan, nilai kesejatian, nilai hikmah, nilai toleransi, nilai menghargai sesama, nilai membalas kejelekan dengan kebaikan, nilai mengedepankan kebaikan dari keburukan dan nilai kualitas amal kebaikan. Diantara ke-14 nilai tersebut terdapat beberapa nilai yang paling menonjol dan banyak dijumpai di dalam novel tersebut, yaitu nilai empati dan nilai saling berbagi.
