Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cigoong 3 yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh media Card Sort terhadap kemampuan membaca peserta didik pemula. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimental dengan jenis one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yang terdiri dari kelas IA sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dan kelas IB kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes lisan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh media Card Sort terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca peserta pemula didik. Dari hasil analisis rata-rata nilai tes akhir kemampuan membaca pemula pada kelas 1A sebesar 77,3 lebih tinggi dan nilai rata-rata pada kelas 1 B sebesar 68,4, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas yang diberikan perlakuan dengan media Card Sort lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Card Sort berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Visual literacy skills are one of the important aspects in supporting elementary school students' literacy skills, especially in learning Indonesian. However, most of the teaching materials are still dominated by conventional texts that are less interesting for students. This community service activity aims to improve students' visual literacy through the use of educational comic media for children in learning Indonesian. This program was implemented at SDN Karundang 1, Serang City and involved teachers and students in grades IV and V. The implementation method was carried out through stages of socialization, teacher training, comic-based learning assistance, and evaluation. The educational comics used contained short stories with interesting illustrations that contained character values ​​and Indonesian language learning topics according to the curriculum. The results of the activity showed an increase in student enthusiasm in participating in learning, an increase in the ability to understand the contents of the reading, and student creativity in responding to visual texts. Teachers also acknowledged the ease of delivering material through visual media. Thus, the use of educational comics has proven effective as a means of strengthening visual literacy in learning Indonesian at the elementary school level. This program is expected to be a model for strengthening visual literacy in other schools.

Abstract

Children prefer accessing digital games via smartphones over traditional games. This phenomenon occurs not only in large cities but also in remote areas of Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to determine teachers' planning for developing communication and collaboration skills, to determine the implementation stages of developing communication and collaboration skills, and to determine teachers' strategies for developing communication and collaboration skills in Rawu Elementary School students. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collected in this study included interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the teachers' planning was structured and appropriate to students' needs. Furthermore, the implementation stages of the traditional game Gobak Sodor improved communication and collaboration skills. The strategies developed by the teachers to improve communication and collaboration skills were effective.

Abstract

Learning that is still conventional, such as lecture methods without interactive supporting media, makes students less motivated and learning less interesting. This research aims to develop podcast-based audio learning media in learning listening skills for grade V elementary school majas materials. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Several previous studies have proven the effectiveness of podcasts in improving listening skills, among others, showing an increase in the average score of listening ability from 67.2 to 92 after the use of learning podcasts, and other studies have found that the use of Google Podcasts helps students understand Indonesian materials according to the curriculum more effectively. The subjects of the study were 32 students in grade V of SD Negeri Cikande 1. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, expert validation questionnaires, response questionnaires, and evaluation questions. The results of expert validation showed that the media was very feasible with a percentage of 95% subject matter experts, 95% linguists, and 92% media experts. The response of the students obtained 95.98% and the teacher's response was 100% in the category of "Very Feasible".

Abstract

Kurangnya inovasi media pembelajaran membuat peserta didik merasa bosan dalam belajar, sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat membuat peserta didik tertarik dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran smart box untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks prosedur pada kelas V SD Negeri Simangu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, lembar validasi, angket dan tes. Hasil validasi dari ahli media mendapatkan persentase sebesar 97% yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 100% yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat valid. Angket respon peserta didik pada tahap uji coba angket mendapatkan hasil 1878 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran smart box ini sangat valid, praktis, efektif serta layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
