Abstract

This study aims to find out how to develop scrapbook learning media for the material essay description on the subjects of Indonesian in grade III primary school and to determine the feasibility of scrapbook learning media for the material essay description on the Indonesian language in grade III developed elementary school received a judgment worthy of experts. This research was conducted in SDN Banjar Agung 4 with the subjects of class III-A students of 28 students with the details of 17 students on a limited trial. The type of research used refers to the development model Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. This model consists of 3 stages namely, defining (define), planning (design), development stage (develop). The instruments used are questionnaires for media validation by expert lecturers as well as teacher and student response questionnaire. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of scrapbook media developed is included in very decent category with 96.11% percentage from 2 material experts, very decent category with 85% percentage from 2 media experts, and 94% from 2 linguists. Student response to media scrapbook on trial with 17 respondents equal to 89,83% with very good category.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackgrounds: External cause code is a secondary code is used to encode diagnose the cause of the occurrenceof an injury outside. The code can influence health care cost and morbidity information. Most hospitals arestill not applying external cause code in the process of classification and coding of disease, including theBanjarmasin Siaga Special Surgery Hospital.Objectives: This research aim is to find external cause coding for injury case on medical record inpatient oforthopedic specialist surgery in RSKB Banjarmasin Siaga in 2013.Methods: This research used descriptive method with case study approach. The samples are 92 inpatientorthopedic specialist surgery with injury cases medical records from January to April 2013. Data collectiontechniques that had been used were observation and interviews. The research instruments are check list,interview guides, and observation guideline. This research was analyzed using univariate analysis.Results: There has been no Operational Standard Procedures of external cause coding but OperationalStandard Procedures coding and disease indexing already exist, but not yet appropriate with the implementation.Completeness of external cause diagnosis writing is 82% and 18% did not completely written. External causesinjury to the orthopedic specialist surgery cause by land transportation accidents is 43%, other transportationaccidents is 23%, fell is 20%, and other external causes is 14%. The influence factors of external cause codingare the absence of procedures for external cause coding, the lack on media used, unsuitable human resourcesthat needed, unreadable, incomplete, and unsuitable diagnosis with the rules, and the absence diagnosiscoding audit.Kata kunci: External Cause Coding, Injury, Medical Record Inpatient, Orthopedic

Abstract

The low quality at each level and education unit is caused by a lack of learning media that helps students learn. This study aims to develop multimedia teaching materials through the video scribe and Camtasia study applications based on multiliterate elementary school students and to determine the feasibility and responses of students to multimedia teaching materials. This study used the R&D (Research and Development) research method with a modified Borg and Gall research design. The population in the limited trial numbered 20 students. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique. The data collection instruments in this study were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that validation by media experts got 90.28% (very feasible), language experts 99.17% (very feasible), material experts 92.11% (very feasible). The results of the student response questionnaire in the field trial showed 96.41% with very feasible criteria. Based on these results, the final product in the form of multimedia teaching materials through the multiliterate-based videoscribe and Camtasia studio applications for elementary school students is very suitable for use for learning activities of fifth-grade elementary school students. The implication of this research is to provide learning media facilities in the form of multimedia teaching materials that can facilitate student learning needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Scrapbook Dongeng Fabel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan desain penelitian milik Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran Scrapbook dongeng fabel terhadap minat literasi baca tulis siswa SD. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan terhadap ahli media diperoleh kriteria sangat layak dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,5%. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh kriteria sangat layak dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 84%. Hasil validasi oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh kriteria layak dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74,15%. Adapun hasil angket respons siswa pada uji coba terbatas memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 93,3% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media Scrapbook Dongeng Fabel dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siswa kelas II SD.

Abstract

Peran pendidik dalam hal ini harus ekstra untuk memupuk karakter disiplin para peserta didik sebagai bekal mereka ketika di sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Ketika pengetahuan yang diberikan dalam muatan materi pemelajaran tidak cukup, setidaknya para pendidik perlu memberikan contoh keseharian mereka terkait sikap disiplin kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui bagaimana kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan karakter disiplin kepada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya guru kelas V SDN Parung Panjang 3 dapat mengimplementasikan karakter disiplin kepada peserta didik secara maksimal serta dapat mengetahui cara untuk menumbuhkan karakter disiplin kepada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang membuat pemahaman konsep siswa tidak terbentuk secara utuh dan komprehensif adalah pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Terlebih lagi pembelajaran berbicara pada pelaksanaan maupun penilaiannya tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi yang hendak dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran awal pembelajaran pemahaman konsep dan berbicara dengan menggunakan strategi partisipatif melalui media gambar denah dan kartu pancing foto. Pendekatan penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Pra-eksperimen desain Perbandingan Kelompok Statis atau Rancangan Postes Terhadap Kelompok-Kelompok Non-Ekuivalen (Statistic Group Comparison or Postest Only With Nonequivalent Groups). Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini mengambil sampel penelitian, kelas IV-A SDN Layungsari 1 kota Bogor sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan dan kelas IV-B SDN Bubulak kota Bogor sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non random sampling. Jumlah sampel pada kedua kelompok populasi diambil jumlah yang sama yaitu 21 orang.Berdasarkan hasil uji t-tes, hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara hasil postes kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol serta terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara antara hasil postes kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.  Direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut mengenai pembelajaran pemahaman konsep dan berbicara dengan menggunakan strategi  partisipatif melalui media gambar denah dan kartu pancing foto. Kata Kunci: Strategi partisipatif, Pemahaman konsep, Pembelajaran berbicara One of the factors that make students' understanding of the concept is not formed completely and comprehensively is learning that does not  accordance with the characteristics of the development of elementary school students. Moreover, learning to speak on the implementation and the assessment does not accordance with the competence to be achieved. This research aimed to obtain an overview of early learning understanding of the concept and talking by using  participatory strategy through media ” gambar denah” and “kartu pancing foto”. This research is a quantitative approach using pre-experimental comparison group design Static or design Postes Groups Against Non-Equivalent (Statistics Group Comparison or posttest Only With Nonequivalent Groups). The research subjects in this study took a sample of research, class IV-A SDN Layungsari 1 Bogor as the experimental group and class IV-B and SDN Bubulak Bogor as a control group. The sampling technique using non-random sampling. The number of samples in both groups were taken the same number of population is 21 people. Based on the test results of t-test, the results showed there are differences between the understanding of the concept of post-test results of the experimental group and the control group, and there are differences in speech between the results posttest experimental group and the control group. Recommended for further study on the understanding of the concept of learning and talking using a participatory strategy through media “gambar denah” and “kartu pancing foto”.Keywords: Participatory strategy, Understanding of the concepts, Learning to speak.

Abstract

The goals of Social and economic development can be achieved through the optimal educational planning. Unfortunately, the develovment of education  especially for primary education was not in accordance with the procedures of educational planning  that should be designed. Most of the education at the primary levels  were developed with the vision, mission, and goals clearly  by paying attention to the interests of society and the ability of people who designed a comprehensive, accurate, precise, and efficient based on the fact. The aim of the paper is  to explain the concept of primary education planning, along with the process. Moreover, it was presented the strategic issues that occur in primary education.The strategic issues of empirical facts which were related to the primary education for the children can be implemented through policies that can be established with a comprehensive educational planning process in accordance with the needs of socio-economic environment. There are three strategies were explained in this paper that can be developed for the equity of education , they are: Revisit priorities, multistandard Curriculum and Evaluation System that Empower the education system. Keywords: Education plannning, Equities of primary Education

Abstract

Kemampuan berbahasa reseptif siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong kurang, hal ini disebabkan kurangnya penggunaan atau kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik, sehingga perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Rara Storytelling berbasis multiliterasi untuk melatih keterampilan berbahasa reseptif di SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan langkah 1) analisis masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi produk, 6) uji coba produk terbatas. Media pembelajaran Rara Storytelling berbasis multiliterasi merupakan media pembelajaran yang didesain untuk membantu peserta didik meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa reseptif. Media ini berbasis aplikasi android yang di dalamnya memuat materi, teks bacaan cerita,video pembelajaran, dan evaluasi yang dikemas secara menarik dan dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Rara Storytelling berbasis multiliterasi “Sangat Layak” digunakan pada pembelajaran kelas IV SD. Sedangkan analisis respons siswa menunjukkan persentase sebesar 92,49%, hal ini menunjukkan ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan layak dan menarik untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis multiliterasi untuk melatih keterampilan berbahasa reseptif di SD.

Abstract

AbstrackThis study discusses the development of digital tales book media for scrutinize skills of third grade elementary school students. This study aims to produce a digital tales book media product that contains fairy tales in Indonesian lessons. This media was created to help support learning for teachers and students. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. It can be concluded that the feasibility of a digital fairy tale book product for listening skills is obtained from the results of an assessment by experts, namely media experts, material experts, and linguists. The results of the assessment of media experts were 89%, material experts 97%, and linguists 95.6%. So it can be concluded that the results of the assessment given by the experts obtained the "very eligible" category and student responses obtained an average of 94.4%. The results obtained from student responses get the "very good" category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital pada Tema 5 Subtema 1 Pembelajaran 1 di kelas V SDIT PUI Cibitung. Metode yang digunakan adalah Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 tahap yaitu Analyze (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kelayakan bahan ajar digital melalui validasi tim ahli media, materi dan bahasa. Berdasarkan penilaian produk bahan ajar digital yang telah dilakukan oleh tim ahli diperoleh hasil bahwa hasil validasi ahli media mendapatkan skor 90,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, hasil validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan skor 88,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan hasil validasi dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 87% dengan kategori sangat layak. Pada tahap uji coba produk peserta didik terlihat sangat antusias dan dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik sehingga memperoleh respon peserta didik dengan skor 99,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar digital yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti adalah bahan ajar digital yang sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar.
