Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mensintesis literatur yang ada untuk mengeksplorasi peran beragam guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur untuk menggambarkan berbagai dimensi keterlibatan guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum serta menggambarkan implikasi praktis dan manfaat dari proses kurikulum kolaboratif. Hasil yang diharapkan mencakup pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kontribusi beragam guru dalam pengembangan dan implementasi kurikulum, serta wawasan mengenai strategi efektif untuk memanfaatkan lembaga guru guna meningkatkan hasil pendidikan. Dengan menjelaskan berbagai dimensi keterlibatan guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Hal ini berkontribusi pada wacana yang sedang berlangsung mengenai profesionalisme guru dan reformasi pendidikan, dengan menekankan potensi transformatif dari inisiatif yang dipimpin guru dalam membentuk masa depan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan visioner dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik kepemimpinan visioner yang efektif dalam konteks pendidikan, memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan visioner dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, menganalisis tantangan dalam implementasinya, dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pemimpin pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai literatur relevan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan, terutama melalui pengembangan kurikulum inovatif, metode pengajaran efektif, dan pemberdayaan profesional guru. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan dan keterbatasan sumber daya, komitmen kuat dan strategi yang efektif dapat mengatasi hambatan ini. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi signifikan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis, serta memberikan wawasan dan panduan bagi pemimpin pendidikan dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner untuk mencapai mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik. Abstract

This community service program aims to integrate Canva, a popular graphic design platform, into educational settings with a focus on its impact on teaching practices, student engagement, and administrative support. Through training and workshops involving elementary school teachers and principals, this program explores the benefits, challenges, and strategies associated with using Canva to create visually appealing learning materials. The results show that Canva enhances teacher efficiency by streamlining the creation of modules, games, and worksheets, while also fostering student interest through colorful and interactive content. Challenges such as limited infrastructure and varying levels of teacher proficiency were identified, along with strategies to address them, including targeted training and collaborative learning initiatives. Principals emphasized the importance of recognizing and incentivizing proficient use of technology among teachers, as well as optimizing school resources to support effective integration of Canva. Overall, this community service program highlights the transformative potential of Canva in improving teaching practices and student engagement, while also underscoring the need for ongoing support and training to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of facilities and infrastructure and the satisfaction levels of students and lecturers in Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS). Based on a satisfaction survey conducted, it was found that 78% of students in PTS with complete facilities reported high satisfaction levels, compared to 54% in PTS with limited facilities. The study identifies aspects of user satisfaction, including physical comfort, functionality, aesthetics, and the relevance of facilities to academic needs. Data from 50 respondents indicate that the availability of flexible learning spaces and adequate technological facilities are critical factors. Differences in funding sources and government policies significantly contribute to the disparity in facility quality between the two types of higher education institutions. The enhancement of facilities and infrastructure is not only aimed at increasing student and lecturer satisfaction but also at strengthening the institution's competitiveness in the education market. PTS needs to establish partnerships with the private sector and seek external funding to support facility development. Furthermore, a data-driven approach in policy formulation is expected to create a conducive academic environment that supports improved academic performance. By understanding the factors influencing user satisfaction, institutions can design appropriate strategies to enhance the quality of facilities and infrastructure, thereby benefiting all stakeholders in higher education

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a customer-based approach in education quality management at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 Muara Badak. Employing a qualitative research approach, this investigation seeks to identify implementation strategies, measure customer satisfaction levels, assess the impact on education quality, and identify constraints and challenges faced. Findings indicate that adopting a customer-oriented strategy effectively enhanced the standard of educational offerings and increased contentment among learners, their families, and educators. The school successfully integrated this approach through active stakeholder involvement in the education quality improvement process, including facility improvements and teacher training program development.

Abstract

The use of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis is a crucial tool in identifying and understanding the competitive position of a school. This research aims to describe the principal's strategy based on SWOT analysis in improving the quality of Muara Badak Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results using SWOT analysis show that SDIT (Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu, Integrated Islamic Elementary School) Muara Badak improves the quality of education by 1) utilizing internal strengths systematically through the principal's leadership, which involves teachers, committees, and parents in policymaking; 2) the foundation provides financial support and resources without operational intervention, while the committee and parents actively contribute to school funding and activities; 3) the principal addresses administrative weaknesses by focusing on learning outcomes using clear guidance books and postponing the use of risky technology; 4) the school also leverages its position as the only integrated Islamic school in the region by strengthening branding through social media and teachers' role modeling of Islamic values. The threat of a less strategic location is overcome by providing school shuttle services, increasing parents' trust and the number of registrants; 5) routine evaluations and strengthening teachers' spirituality through reciting activities and close collaboration between the foundation, committees, and parents are key to the success of continuous quality improvement. Research recommendations include conducting comparative studies to identify best practices by comparing SDIT Muara Badak with other schools and developing an implementation model for a SWOT-based quality improvement strategy that can be widely applied by considering each school's context
