Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu tahun 2013/2014. Dari 4 sekolah yang berbeda, ditentukan 388 siswa sebagai sampel dengan Teknik proportional random sampling. Sebelum penelitian dilaksanakan, diadakan uji coba instrument penelitian pada siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda kelas VIIIB yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier ganda dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil skor rata-rata kecerdasan intrapersonal sebesar 46,98 kategori sedang, lingkungan keluarga sebesar 114,10 kategori sedang, dan nilai rata-rata dari hasil belajar matematika siswa adalah 47,14. Hal ini berarti hasil belajar matematika siswakelas VII di Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu tergolong kategori sedang.Hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh persamaan penduga  dengan Fhit=242,73serta Ftabel= 3,00. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 58,8% model regresi dugaan dapat menjelaskan pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Untuk kecerdasan intrapersonal diperoleh thitung = 20,82 dan ttabel = 1,96; terdapat pengaruh antara kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Lingkungan keluarga siswa diperoleh thitung = 3,89 dan ttabel = 1,96 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan biaya pendidikan di SD  Negeri 004 Berau melalui pendekatan SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan staf sekolah, observasi langsung, serta analisis dokumen keuangan dan laporan tahunan sekolah. Data sekunder diperoleh dari publikasi resmi pemerintah dan dokumen pendukung lainnya. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan utama sekolah, seperti kualitas tenaga pengajar yang tinggi dan fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai, serta kelemahan signifikan berupa biaya operasional yang tinggi dan ketergantungan besar pada dana pemerintah. Peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan termasuk potensi pendanaan tambahan dari sektor swasta dan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Namun, ancaman yang perlu diwaspadai meliputi ketidakstabilan ekonomi dan persaingan dengan sekolah lain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, saran yang diajukan meliputi diversifikasi sumber pendanaan, pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan, perencanaan keuangan yang cermat, dan pengembangan kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal.

Abstract

This community service program aims to integrate Canva, a popular graphic design platform, into educational settings with a focus on its impact on teaching practices, student engagement, and administrative support. Through training and workshops involving elementary school teachers and principals, this program explores the benefits, challenges, and strategies associated with using Canva to create visually appealing learning materials. The results show that Canva enhances teacher efficiency by streamlining the creation of modules, games, and worksheets, while also fostering student interest through colorful and interactive content. Challenges such as limited infrastructure and varying levels of teacher proficiency were identified, along with strategies to address them, including targeted training and collaborative learning initiatives. Principals emphasized the importance of recognizing and incentivizing proficient use of technology among teachers, as well as optimizing school resources to support effective integration of Canva. Overall, this community service program highlights the transformative potential of Canva in improving teaching practices and student engagement, while also underscoring the need for ongoing support and training to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

Education in the digital era requires school principals to play an encouraging and strategic role in utilizing technology to enhance the quality of learning. The purpose of this community service program is to empower school principals in optimizing their role in integrating educational technology. This program employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies, including exploring journals, books, and other relevant information. The results of the service indicate that school principals play a crucial role in improving the quality of education in the digital era. The role of school principals includes the ability to lead and manage the school effectively to utilize digital technology, serve as educators for teachers and staff in developing their technological competencies, and manage school resources, including digital technology, efficiently. Despite facing challenges such as a lack of trained human resources and technological infrastructure constraints, certain strategies can help overcome these obstacles. Training and professional development of teachers are essential steps in enhancing their technology usage skills. Additionally, improving technological infrastructure, such as adequate internet access and sufficient hardware, is necessary to support optimal technology integration.

Abstract

The field of learning is greatly influenced by technological advances, and mathematical skills are no exception. This research aims to share alternatives in delivering relation and function material for grade VIII junior high school students through an assessment of the validity and practicality of interactive learning media based on Kodular. The development of this product explores the stages of the 4D model (Definition, Design, Development, Dissemination). At the Definition stage, the initial analysis showed minimal enthusiasm and involvement of students and teacher-centered learning, so it was deemed necessary to innovate, namely an interactive learning application resulting from development using Kodular. The Design stage, designing a prototype by compiling test standards based on the formulation of learning objectives, choosing the Kodular website as the main platform with APK format, creating a learning application product called Math Voyager. At the Develop stage, students calculate and evaluate the Math Voyager learning media, which is validated by media and material experts. Analysis of the trial results using the Aiken V index. The validation value from the material expert is 0.72, the validation value from the media expert is 0.92, and the practicality value is 0.66. All of these index values are greater than 0.4 so it can be concluded that Math Voyager is valid and practical. The Disseminate stage, distributes Math Voyager to users via the Google Drive platform. This dissemination effort is carried out so that the Math Voyager media can be accessed by teachers and students.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang telah dipelajari mulai sekolah dasar, namun rata-rata hasil belajar matematika di SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda masih di bawah nilai KKM yaitu 53,67. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika Siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dengan bantuan media video animasi di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 Siswa dan objek penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dan media video animasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dokumen, tugas, lembar observasi, dan tes akhir siklus. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah perhitungan rata-rata dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa model PBL berbantuan media video animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika Siswa. Pada siklus I, II, dan III, aktivitas Guru termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pada siklus I, aktivitas Siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik dan pada siklus II dan III termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika Siswa meningkat menjadi 73,64 dan 50% Siswa mencapai nilai KKM. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 82,40 dan 75% Siswa telah mencapai KKM. Pada siklus III, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 85,22 dan 87,5% Siswa telah mencapai nilai KKM.

Abstract

This research resulted in a data processing system application program for sports talent identification test results aged 11-15 years which can accelerate the provision of information about the classification of potential gifted children and recommendations for sports branches based on anthropometric data parameters and biometric data. The sample in the study was 50 students in Samarinda Kota and Samarinda Ulu sub-districts using the cluster area sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a talent identification test battery instrument. In completing this research, the author uses a database-based programming language in the Borneo Sport Talent software. The results showed: (1) Borneo Sports Talent Id can be used as a system for processing data on talent identification results effectively and efficiently, (2) Talent classifications were found, namely: 10% of children have potential, 22% of children have sufficient potential, 32% of children have less potential, and 36% of children have no potential, (3) Recommendations for potential sports: volleyball, rowing, soccer, fencing, swimming, gymnastics, and rock climbing, and athletics in running, jumping, and throwing events.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain a description of: (1) The Chancellor's leadership in achieving the vision and mission at IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan (2) The Chancellor's leadership in developing strategies at IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan (3) The Chancellor's leadership in facing obstacles to achieving and maintaining the vision and mission at IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in this research include: 1) interviews, 2) Observation and 3) Documentation. Data processing starts from writing interviews, observations, then editing, clarifying, reducing, presenting and concluding the data. The data analysis process uses the Miles and Huberman modem which states that activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and take place continuously at each stage of the research until it is complete and the data is saturated. The results of the research show that: (1) The Chancellor's leadership has a huge influence on the achievement of the vision and mission at IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan. (2) The Chancellor's leadership in developing strategies at IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan becomes the driving force of the organization, so that it is able to organize all elements within the IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan institution. (3) The Chancellor of IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan has been equipped with experience starting from teaching lecturer, head of study program, vice chancellor, and quite a long time interacting with friends who are currently staff, making it not too difficult for him to minimize problems, manage problems and identifying problems and resolving problems (problem solving) and openness, harmonious relationships, good communication is one of the ammunition for the Chancellor of IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan to face obstacles in maintaining and realizing the vision and mission of IKIP PGRI East Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the leadership strategy of two school principals, 2) school achievement, and 3) efforts to improve school achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. It used snowball sampling. The study was conducted at State Senior High School 1 (SHS) and Catholic High School (CHS). Key informants consisted of 1 principal, one vice principal, three teachers, three education staff, three students, and three parents from each school for in-depth interviews. Data collection techniques were also carried out through observation and documentation studies. The results showed that: 1) in SHS the relationship-oriented leadership pattern stood out, while in the CHS the task-oriented leadership pattern was more prominent, (2) the achievement of both high schools was above the national average; and 3) The Head of SHS forms a learning group based on interests and talents, while CHS forms an innovative virtual achievement group. The results of this study are helpful for school principals as a reference in implementing effective leadership patterns to improve school achievement. The taxonomy of leadership patterns (entrepreneurial, bureaucratic, political, and professional) can be applied to improve school achievement, although there is a different emphasis between the two schools

Abstract

Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. The collected data was analyzed interactively to describe the situation and management process of educators and education personnel carried out by FKIP UWGM Samarinda. The implementation of human and academic resource management is carried out by integrating all elements of leadership and work units. There is the application of direct experience that supports management which is carried out both from planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. The management functions and duties of educators and education staff have implications for FKIP UWGM in dealing with the shortage of educators and education staff through placement. Coaching and development is also carried out for educators and education staff through training and further studies, which are carried out by study programs in every faculty at the University.
