Abstract

In the era of Society 5.0, where human and technological collaboration is increasingly intertwined to drive social progress, the effects on human life, particularly adolescents, have been profound. Adolescents, who are in a crucial transitional phase from childhood to adulthood, are naturally curious and vulnerable to both the positive and negative influences of this digital age. This research seeks to explore how Christian Religious Education and Abraham Maslow's concept of self-actualization impact the mental development of adolescents, as an effort to mitigate the negative effects of Society 5.0. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study draws from a range of literature, including e-books, e-journals, and other relevant sources on Christian Religious Education, self-actualization, and mental development. The findings of this research indicate that during this period of heightened curiosity and instability, adolescents are capable of discerning the teachings that should guide their lives and realizing their full potential. Christian Religious Education plays a significant role in fostering mental health among adolescents, while self-actualization is equally critical in helping them maintain mental well-being as they navigate the challenges of Society 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Ruth's loyalty in the Book of Ruth reflects a deep spiritual commitment and its relevance as a model of devotion to God amidst social and cultural challenges. As a Moabite facing social stigma, Ruth's loyalty to Naomi and the God of Israel demonstrates devotion that transcends ethnic and traditional boundaries. This research employs a qualitative method with a textual criticism approach to analyze the text of the Book of Ruth. Data collection was conducted through a literature review, including the Bible text, commentaries, and related academic articles. Data analysis involved textual criticism to interpret symbolic meaning, language use, and historical context within Ruth’s narrative. The study reveals that Ruth’s loyalty embodies khesed, or steadfast love, which represents not only a spiritual commitment to God but also tangible devotion to her community and those around her. Ruth's model of devotion is relevant to modern society, which faces challenges of diversity and tolerance. These findings enrich the understanding of the relationship between spiritual commitment and social influence in a religious context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran perempuan dalam teologi dan kepemimpinan gereja, yang semakin mendapat perhatian dalam konteks keadilan gender dan inklusivitas. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi teologis perempuan serta tantangan yang mereka hadapi dalam kepemimpinan gereja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan, dengan menganalisis literatur terkait teologi feminis, interpretasi Alkitab, dan model kepemimpinan inklusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teolog perempuan menawarkan interpretasi alternatif terhadap teks-teks suci dan menyoroti potensi kepemimpinan perempuan. Meskipun ada kemajuan, stereotip gender dan keterbatasan akses pendidikan masih menjadi hambatan signifikan. Model kepemimpinan servant dan kolaboratif diusulkan sebagai solusi untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih adil dan setara. Diskusi mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan perspektif perempuan dalam teologi dapat memperkaya pemahaman iman serta menciptakan gereja yang lebih responsif terhadap tantangan sosial. Ini juga dapat menarik generasi muda yang menghargai nilai-nilai keadilan dan inklusivitas. Kesimpulannya, mengintegrasikan suara perempuan dalam kepemimpinan gereja adalah langkah strategis untuk menciptakan gereja yang berkomitmen pada keadilan sosial dan mampu berfungsi sebagai agen perubahan positif dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

The implementation of Differentiated Instruction (DI) in Christian Religious Education aims to help students overcome difficulties in managing their emotions through an approach that adjusts teaching methods and the emotional needs of individuals. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review to examine how DI can be applied in the context of Christian religious education to support the emotional development of students. Based on the literature review, DI, which includes adjustments in content, process, product, and learning environment, is effective in creating an inclusive and responsive learning experience that meets the needs of students. Using Bible stories and applying moral values such as love, forgiveness, and patience, DI also provides space for students to better understand and manage their emotions. This study demonstrates that by adapting teaching approaches to the emotional needs of students, DI not only supports academic achievement but also helps them manage their feelings and develop better character.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how keroncong music is dominant in times of change in the musical world, how keroncong music is currently developing, and how they can help the youth of the Evangelical Church of Java were to find out how it is evident in the worship of the Lord. Research methods were used in writing the work. This scientific method is library research. This was carried out by the author. That is a search for articles, books, and encyclopedias on topics related to the dominance and development of Keroncong music. Javanese Evangelical Church Youth Worship in Turbulent Times. The findings of this study are as follows: First, in the middle of the inevitable turbulent times, the dominance of Keroncong music begins to weaken, especially among the youth. There is Java worships evangelical church people, so care must be taken to adapt to existing changes Java evangelicalism continues to evolve with new faces and appearances. Simply as a form of following the development of existing music and maintaining keroncong music in the youth liturgy. Third, the church must embrace existing changes without losing the identity and culture that has existed in the church for many years. But without an openness to existing change, especially during turbulent times, the church will fall behind over time.
