Abstract

This qualitative research aims to determine the understanding and application of religious tolerance verses among boarding school high school students in the Soloraya area. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers. The findings show a positive understanding of religious tolerance verses in such schools. Students gain this understanding through formal and informal social guidance and interaction. They display tolerant behavior towards both Muslim and non-Muslim individuals. A variety of factors contribute to the development of tolerant attitudes, including student background, teacher understanding, effective classroom management, family roles, and harmonious relationships between school and family. Boarding schools such as MATIQ Isy Karima, Muhammadiyah Trensains, IT Al-Huda, Daarul Fath, Baitul Qur'an, and Al-Muayyad have implemented the values of tolerance through formal and informal activities. The article recommends concrete measures to increase tolerance among boarding school students, such as the implementation of a multicultural pesantren curriculum, visits by religious leaders, inclusive social activities, house of worship visits, and interfaith seminars

Abstract

Abdi Dalem" refer to individuals that dedicated this life to serving in the palace. They are responsible for assisting in the operational activities within the palace, and additionally, they play a role as cultural servants within their respective regions. "Abdi Dalem" serving at Pura Mangkunegaran in Surakarta includes individuals ranging from the young to the elderly. Despite the limitations faced by the elderly, such as the decline in various functions-physically, psychologically, socially, and economically-they remain determined to continue their service at Pura Mangkunegaran in Surakarta. Therefore, to understand the well-being spirituality of these elderly "Abdi Dalem," it is essential to conduct research to uncover the phenomenon essence that shapes their life experiences. This research used a semi-structured interview method, with three subjects selected through purposive sampling. The criteria for the subjects include being an active "Abdi Dalem" at Pura Mangkunegaran for a minimum of 30 years and being at least 60 years old. Data analysis employs interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). The result of this research indicate that the subjects had a well-being spirituality predominantly influenced by the existential dimension. This dimension involves the relationship between the individual and society, where the crucial role of self-concept affects the well-being spirituality of the elderly. Abstract

One of the Islamic Boarding Schools located in Bekasi, West Java has a special program that applies to the students, specifically the third level of Aliyah students. The program is in the form of lecture activities that must be followed to meet the graduation requirements for final-year students so that students have three roles. First, the students play the role of third-grade student Aliyah. Second, students play the role of freshmen. Third, the student acts as a student. The three roles of Aliyah third-level students require academic resilience that can help them face difficulties and problems during the learning process. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The data collection method used semi-structured interview methods and non-participant observation, as well as documentation studies. Furthermore, data analysis uses interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) with atlas. ti software. This study aims to find out how the picture of academic resilience in students who have three roles. The result of this study is that the academic resilience of students is built by the ability of students to regulate emotions, control impulses, be optimistic, conduct environmental and condition analysis, self-efficacy, and reaching out. Abstract

Qana'ah is an important characteristic that overseas students must have in controlling consumer behavior. Overseas students with high Qana'ah traits will have low consumptive behavior. This research aims to determine the relationship between Qana'ah and consumer behavior among students from the Solo Raya area. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The number of samples in this research was 153 people based on a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The scale used consists of the qana'ah scale and consumer behavior. The analysis technique used is bivariate. The analysis results show the correlation value is -0.423** and sig. 0.000, then the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted. This means that overseas students in Solo Raya have a negative relationship between qana'ah and consumer behavior. Keywords: Overseas Student; Consumptive Behavor; Qana’ah

Abstract

Continuous shyness can be the main trigger for the formation of social anxiety that limits a person’s ability to interact and adapt in a social environment. The aim of this study was to find out the relationship between shyness and social anxiety of nomadic new students from outside Java. This research method is quantitatively correlational using the purposive sampling technique. The population in this study consisted of nomadic new students from oustside Java who attended universities around Solo Raya. The sample was 151 respondents. Psychological scale with Likert scale model consisting of Revised Cheek and Buss Shyness Scale (RCBS) and Social Anxiety Scale Adolescent. It means that among new students, nomads from outside Java have a positive relationship between shyness and social anxiety. Keywords: Shyness; Social Anxiety; Fresher
