Abstract

The rapid development of the internet has resulted in profound changes that impact people's lives, enabling them to engage in both offline and online shopping. While traditional offline shopping involves physically visiting stores, online shopping offers the convenience of making purchases remotely. In order to explore the advantages and disadvantages of offline and online shopping, a shopping activity was conducted on Friday, October 14, 2022, on Jalan Pelita, where food was purchased both online and offline. The objective was to identify the benefits and drawbacks of each method. The findings of this study reveal that offline and online shopping have their own distinct advantages and disadvantages, allowing individuals to adapt their choices to their specific needs. Online shopping is advantageous when speed and practicality are desired, especially for repeat purchases. On the other hand, offline shopping is preferred by those who value relaxation, enjoy the ambiance of a physical mall, and appreciate the tactile experience of directly interacting with products and food.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pendampingan dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas literasi dan manajemen keuangan digital pada pelaku usaha pertanian dan UMKM di Desa Kemang, Kabupaten Muara Enim. Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku usaha adalah kurangnya pemahaman mengenai pencatatan keuangan yang rapi dan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam proses manajemen usaha. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan edukatif berupa penyampaian materi, pelatihan aplikasi keuangan digital, serta pendampingan praktik dan diskusi interaktif. Sebanyak 15 peserta yang terdiri dari anggota Karang Taruna dan pelaku UMKM terlibat aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta mengenai dasar-dasar akuntansi, pengelolaan keuangan usaha, serta kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi pencatatan keuangan digital. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan keuangan sangat relevan dan aplikatif di tingkat desa. Intervensi berbasis teknologi ini diharapkan menjadi model pemberdayaan yang dapat direplikasi di komunitas serupa. Kata Kunci: UMKM; keuangan digital; aplikasi keuangan; literasi keuangan. Abstract This community service activity was carried out to improve digital literacy and financial management capacity among agricultural business actors and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kemang Village, Muara Enim Regency. The main problem faced by the participants was the lack of understanding regarding proper financial recording and the use of digital tools in business management. The program was implemented through an educational approach involving material presentation, digital financial application training, practical mentoring, and interactive discussions. A total of 15 participants, consisting of youth organization members and MSME representatives, actively participated in the activities. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in participants' knowledge of basic accounting, business financial management, and their ability to operate digital bookkeeping applications independently. This activity demonstrates that digital transformation in financial management is highly relevant and applicable at the village level. The technology-based intervention used here has the potential to serve as a replicable model for empowering similar communities. Keywords: MSMEs; digital finance; financial application; financial literacy.
