Abstract

Dalam kondisi teknologi yang semakin maju, Penginderaan Jauh (PJ) dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dapat digunakan dalam berbagai aspek dalam banyak rumpun ilmu. Pada bidang pertanian pemanfaataan teknologi Penginderaan Jauh dan SIG akan memberi kemudahan dalam pemantauan tumbuhan, area Perkebunan serta penanda lokasi area-area pertanian dan perkebunan sampai dengan pengambilan keputusan hasil analisis data lapangan. Sasaran dalam pelatihan ini adalah agar  mahasiswa program studi agroteknologi Universitas Nias dapat memahami terkait pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan tambahan yaitu Penginderaan Jauh dan Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk diterapkan pada bidang pertanian. Pelatihan diselenggarakan secara tatap muka dengan metode ceramah dan praktik langsung. Metode pelatihan dan pengenalan dimulai dengan persiapan yaitu mencari tahu kebutuhan mahasiswa melalui interview dengan ketua program studi dan dosen agroteknologi, pelaksanaan berupa pemaparan materi terkait teknologi penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis dan pratik pengambilan data spasial dengan melakukan marking lokasi pertanian dan terakhir mengevaluasi kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan. Luaran dari pelatihan ini memperlihatkan bahwa ketertarikan mahasiswa agroteknologi dalam penggunaan Penginderaan Jauh dan Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk pertanian sangat tinggi, mahasiswa agroteknologi Universitas Nias sudah mengetahui penggunaan penginderaan jauh untuk pertanian serta teknologi SIG. Kegiatan ini sebagai bekal mahasiswa agroteknologi untuk kedepannya mengkombinasikan antara ilmu pertanian dan teknologi Penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis.

Abstract

Kemang Village is one of the villages located in Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province, which has great potential in the agricultural and plantation sectors, especially in pineapple cultivation. However, the potential of pineapple in Kemang Village is only sold as fruit to several regions, so the sales of processed products made from pineapples are still very limited. Therefore, an innovation in processing pineapples into a product is needed to enhance its market value. This community service activity aims to assist the community in processing pineapples, which are a potential resource of the village, into a higher-value product, as well as to create business opportunities and increase the income of the people in Kemang Village. This activity was conducted using socialization and training methods for making processed pineapple products, attended by the women and youth of Kemang Village. The result of this activity is the innovation of a processed pineapple product, namely pineapple ice pops, as well as the community of Kemang Village gaining new knowledge and skills in processing pineapples, which is the main potential in Kemang Village.

Abstract

In the era of globalization that continues to develop, people are expected to adapt to increasingly advanced technological advances. This activity aims to strengthen MSME skills in financial management and digital marketing. This program helps people utilize social media and product branding techniques to increase sales and expand the market. The main target of this training and mentoring is the Kemang Village community, both from housewives, especially community leaders, to be more creative and innovative in managing their businesses, both in terms of financial records and marketing that can reach consumers widely. The implementation method used is through socialization and mentoring for the Kemang Village community. As a result, MSME actors in Kemang Village showed increased awareness and application of appropriate practices in marketing and financial management. This program shows how appropriate mentoring can encourage MSME growth and local economic welfare.

Abstract

One of the villages that has tourism potential in Lembak Regency is Kemang Village. Jang Oden Bathing Tourism is a tourist destination with unique natural beauty, but due to lack of marketing, it is not well known to many tourists. Therefore, innovative marketing strategies need to be introduced to increase tourist visits. The methodology used in this activity is a participatory approach and the implementation of effective innovative marketing strategies. carried out through the use of social media such as Instagram to promote the tourist destination. Google Maps marketing is also used to improve accessibility. Refreshing promotional packages equipped with free karaoke facilities can be an additional attraction. The results of this service have a positive impact after marketing on Instagram, showing that this strategy is effective in increasing awareness and tourist visits to this tourist destination.
