Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the educational model in the development of zero waste skills at the Change Archipelago stall in Jati Sampurna Village, South Bekasi. The research approach is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the profile of the changes in the archipelago stalls in the Jati Sampurna Village were stalls that sold various types of used goods and had implemented the zero waste principle well. However, the zero waste skills possessed by lapak members still need to be improved. Implementing an educational model for developing zero waste skills at the Simpan Nusantara lapak has proven to be effective in increasing the zero waste skills of lapak members. Obstacles in implementing the educational model include the lack of support and awareness from lapak members. Based on the research results, it is suggested that the implemented educational model can be improved by involving experts and zero-waste practitioners. The Archipelago's Change Static is expected to continue applying the zero waste principle and strengthen customer communication. Future research can explore a more appropriate educational model to improve zero waste skills in lapak members and involve a more comprehensive sample.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges and strategies faced by job seekers in the digital era through a qualitative analysis of personal narratives and real-life experiences. By conducting in-depth interviews and collecting personal stories from individuals such as Rina, Ahmad, and Lisa, this research reveals the skills mismatch between formal education and industry needs, the challenges of adapting to recruitment technologies, and the significance of a robust portfolio and professional networking. The findings indicate that job seekers experience considerable pressure in an increasingly competitive labor market. To address these issues, the study recommends curriculum reforms in education to align more closely with industry requirements, enhanced access to digital skills training, and adjustments to recruitment processes to be more inclusive. Furthermore, practical experience and career mentoring are critical factors in preparing a competitive workforce. The limitations of this research include the subjectivity of the qualitative approach and the challenges of generalizing the findings. Therefore, further studies employing quantitative methods and research across various regions in Indonesia are necessary to strengthen the validity and reliability of these findings. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers, educational institutions, and job seekers in designing effective strategies to tackle unemployment and enhance workforce skills in the digital era. Consequently, close collaboration among government, industry, and educational institutions is essential to create a more inclusive and adaptive employment ecosystem in response to technological changes and labor market dynamics.

Abstract

Amid rising economic uncertainty, this study explores the strategic role of budgeting in managing corporate financial risk. It examines budgeting as a critical management tool for identifying, mitigating, and controlling risks within a business environment. Utilizing a qualitative approach grounded in literature review, data is gathered from prior studies to demonstrate the positive impact of a well-structured and flexible budget. Findings reveal that companies capable of integrating risk management into their budgeting processes are more likely to mitigate impacts from market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks. Additionally, various studies suggest that adaptive budgeting enhances a company’s resilience in responding to market fluctuations. This study also highlights specific strategies, such as contingency planning and reserve allocation, which effectively support financial stability. These findings contribute to financial management literature while providing practical guidance for companies to optimize budgets as strategic tools for addressing economic challenges. Future research is recommended to broaden the scope across sectors and undertake longitudinal analysis to deepen understanding of budgeting’s role in financial risk management
