Abstract

While the economic impact of Islamic social finance (ISF) is increasingly acknowledged, its potential contribution to psychological well-being remains underexplored. This study investigates the relationship between ISF practices (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, Waqf) and psychological well-being. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study undertakes a comprehensive review of existing literature, encompassing books and national and international journal articles. Findings demonstrate a strong correlation between ISF and various dimensions of psychological well-being, including self-acceptance, positive relationships, autonomy, environmental mastery, life goals, and self-development. This positive association is attributed to ISF's central role in achieving Falah (spiritual prosperity) within the maqashid al-sharia (objectives of Islamic law) framework, fostering social justice and shared prosperity conducive to individual well-being. The study recommends that philanthropic institutions prioritize enhancing service quality in collecting and distributing ISF funds to maximize their positive impact on psychological well-being within the community.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Bagaimana Keuangan Sosial Syariah Meningkatkan Kesejateraan Psikologis?

Abstract

The economic order quantity (EOQ) model has become an important instrument in inventory management to minimize costs by balancing ordering and holding costs. This study examines the alignment of the EOQ model with the principles of Maqasid Shari’a, including hifdzul din (protecting religion), hifdzul nafs (protecting the soul), hifdzul aql (protecting reason), hifdzul nasl (protecting descendants), and hifdzul maal (protecting property) and its relevance in the context of Islamic business. Qualitative data were collected through a literature review with a content analysis approach, then analyzed thematically to identify the relationship between EOQ characteristics and Maqasid Shari’a dimensions. The results of the study indicate that the EOQ model is in line with the five principles of Maqasid Shari’a, which include: 1) Hifdzul din: 2) Hifdzul nafs: 3) Hifdzul aql: 4) Hifdzul nasl: 5) Hifdzul maal: This study concludes that by integrating the EOQ model with Maqasid Shari’a, maslahah (common good) will be achieved in the form of economic efficiency and strengthening the ethical and social dimensions in business. The implications will encourage increased transparency, waste reduction, and environmental sustainability. These findings can be a conceptual basis for developing a holistic inventory management model following Islamic economics principles.

Abstract

Digitalization is the change of analog to digital processes. The existence of digitalization provides great benefits for every industrial sector, including banking. Behind all these benefits there are risks that must also be faced, therefore cyber security is needed to overcome or defend data from cyber attacks (cyber crime). This study aims to determine the influence of digitalization and cyber security on the interest of generation z transactions in Islamic banks. The employed methodology is a quantitative research approach utilizing the SPSS program. The data for this study was collected by the distribution of online questionnaires using Google Forms to respondents, using purposive sampling approaches. The data gathered is considered primary data. The results of this study partially show that the digitalization variable does not affect the interest in generation z transactions in Islamic banks with a t-value of 1.761 > the table t of 1.978 and the cyber security variable affects the interest of generation z transactions with a t-value of 6,000 > t table of 1.978. simultaneously, digitalization and cyber security significantly affect the interest in Generation Z transactions in Sharia Banks with f calculation 49.43 > F table 3.07. Therefore, digitalization and cyber security strengthen the reason for generation Z in making transactions at Islamic banks in their daily lives.

Abstract

Objective This research aims to analyze the potential of Islamic securities crowdfunding as an effort to create Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with an al-Maqashid Sharia perspective.Methodology This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods to obtain a description or overview of the potential of I-SCF for the Sustainable Development Goals based on the perspective of Maqashid Sharia. It utilizes a literature study with a Maqashid Sharia perspective as the main reference. Results Numerous studies show that sharia securities crowdfunding has the potential to strengthen MSME capital in the post-Covid-19 pandemic era, expand access to Islamic financial services for the community, create a profitable investment sector, and strengthen the halal industry. These potentials lead to the values of the purpose of Maqashid Sharia, which include the five main benefits (al-kulliyah al-khamsah).Research limitations This research is limited to I-SCF in Indonesia hence subsequent studies may conduct further research on I-SCF in other countries for the purpose of comparisons. It also uses a quality-descriptive method hence future research may use quantitative analysis methods to provide a more specific picture of the influence on the SDGs.Implications - This research is important for the development and utilization of the potential of I-SCF in Indonesia. The study of Maqashid sharia on I-SCF shows that practically, I-SCF has maximum benefits for society without abandoning compliance with Islamic law.
