Abstract

The high level of poverty in Indonesia encourages the government and social institutions to seek to provide social assistance to the community in improving welfare, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, in the form of basic necessities, cash, and other forms of subsidies. However, sometimes the distribution of social assistance is not well-targeted so that some people should receive the assistance but are not touched at all. Then the data obtained are also still manual so it takes time in making decisions. Therefore we need a method that can assist in making decisions quickly with the help of computers. One of the methods used in making these decisions is the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) which is widely used for solving decision-making problems with many criteria. Fuzzy AHP itself is a combination of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method and fuzzy theory. In this study, several criteria were determined in the selection of recipients of social assistance, namely employment, expenditure, clothing, food, and housing. Furthermore, the alternative recipients of social assistance that will be selected are compared based on predetermined criteria. The highest value which is the result of Fuzzy AHP calculations can be used as a recommendation for decision-makers in selecting social assistance recipients. Keywords: fuzzy, ahp, decision support system.

Abstract

Effective and transparent financial management is essential for the sustainability and accountability of community organizations. However, many organizations still rely on manual financial recording systems that are time-consuming and prone to errors. This study aims to develop a web-based digital cash book system to support financial management in community organizations, using BORSAK Batam City as a case study. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was applied, with data collected through interviews, observations, system testing, and questionnaires involving eight organization administrators. The system adopts a client–server architecture with a relational database and features transaction recording, real-time balance calculation, automated financial reports, data search, and audit trails. Testing results indicate a 67% increase in transaction recording efficiency and a 96% improvement in report generation time, while manual calculation errors were completely eliminated. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 84, classified as excellent. This study demonstrates that a web-based digital cash book system effectively enhances efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and accountability in community organization financial management.

Abstract

The determination of the composition of personnel in an organization, especially in the Branch Meeting (Musran) of the Muhammadiyah Branch Executive (PRM) of Sungai Panas Village, is still carried out manually and tends to be subjective. This has the potential to cause inefficiencies and internal conflicts in the decision-making process. This research aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (SPK) that can help the management selection process objectively and systematically through the comparison of two Multicriteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. The process of weighting criteria is carried out objectively using the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method. Furthermore, the ranking of prospective administrators was carried out using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Weighted Product (WP) methods to test the accuracy and suitability of the results. The five main criteria used include: organizational experience, level of education, loyalty to the organization, leadership, and availability of time. The system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of the implementation show that the system is able to produce recommendations for a more systematic, transparent, and accountable management structure, as well as provide a clear comparison of results between TOPSIS and taxpayers. With this SPK, the deliberation process can run faster and more efficiently, as well as strengthen democratic data-based organizational governance.
