Abstract

Program Pertanian Sehat Ramah Lingkungan dan Berkelanjutan ini dilaksanakan sebagai tindka lanjut dari proses identifikasi kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat secara sistematik, melalui pengumpulan informasi atau data mengenai masyarakat termasuk di dalamnya potensi penghidupan berkelanjutan dan masalah sosial yang ada pada lingkungan masyarakat di Desa Rahayu. PT Pertamina EP Sukowati Field melalui Program CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) telah melaksanakan Program Pertanian Padi Organik di Desa Rahayu, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur. Melalui implementasi sistem pertanian organik ini berhasil memangkas biaya operasional dalam pembelian pupuk kimia dan pestisida kimia, juga meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Selain itu, hasil pertanian organik ini memiliki biaya pemeliharaan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan sistem pertanian konvensional. Kualitas hasil produksi padi organik juga lebih menyehatkan karena tidak mengandung residu bahan kimia. Dalam penerapan sistem pertanian organik, kelembagaan petani juga diperkuat, termasuk di dalamnya proses peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam mengelola praktik pertanian organik.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a lighting system that utilizes seawater as an electrical energy source through the electrolysis process. Two metals, copper and magnesium, are used as electrodes that generate DC voltage when immersed in seawater. The output voltage from this process is relatively low, so a boost converter circuit is employed to increase the voltage level sufficiently to power a lamp. The converter circuit is designed using electronic components such as an inductor, diode, capacitor, and transistor to regulate and stabilize the output voltage. The experimental results show that the system can produce up to 5 watts of power and successfully illuminate a lamp with optimal brightness. This study demonstrates that combining seawater electrolysis with an electronic voltage-boosting circuit can serve as a simple and effective renewable energy alternative, particularly for coastal areas that are not yet connected to conventional electricity networks.
