Abstract

Emotional exhaustion is individual fatigue related to personal feelings and depletion of emotional resources, which refers to excessive emotional feelings due to contact with other people or work. Emotional exhaustion can be influenced by factors including job insecurity and role ambiguity. This research aims to determine the influence of job insecurity through role ambiguity which consists of unclear rules, vague responsibilities, vague expectations on emotional exhaustion at work. The sample in this research was Gen Z who worked part time, full time or freelance, amounting to 200 respondents. The data collection technique uses a list of questions such as a questionnaire and the data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (SmartPls) to test the ten hypotheses proposed in this research. The research results show that job insecurity directly and indirectly through the determinants of role ambiguity has a positive and significant influence on emotional exhaustion.

Abstract

UMKM Ken Jaya Food is a business that produces shredded, meatballs and nuggets using tuna as the basic ingredient. Located in Kolo Village which is famous for its abundant tuna fish. This UMKM also helps many local fishermen by buying fishermen's catches. However, this UMKM does not yet have a unique and attractive logo design as a business identity that is easily recognized by consumers. The logo design of UMKM Ken Jaya Food is still a simple logo. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign the logo for UMKM Ken Jaya Food. The method we use is a qualitative method through interviews with business owners and observations of business premises. This research has several stages to go through so that it can produce a visual identity in the form of a logo.

Abstract

Doing business, big or small, is bound up with ethical issues. Ethics refers to what a person should do morally. PKM activity partners are UKMs engaged in the field of making snack products made from cashew nuts, located in Kore Village, Sanggar District, Bima Regency. PKM activities aim to provide partners with knowledge about business ethics that partners need to have in doing business. Plus, partner businesses are located in densely populated areas. It is necessary to maintain ethical behavior where the partner's business is located. The method offered to partners/MSMEs is education/socialization using LEAFLET which is carried out door to door. The material provided in the leaflet includes a discussion of (1) The role of ethics in business for MSMEs, (2) Benefits of doing business for MSMEs (3) Application of ethical principles in business in financial, marketing, production and HR activities. The results of the activity showed that partners were very enthusiastic in listening and discussing during the activity. Apart from that, it can provide knowledge about ethics in running a business.
