Abstract

Teenagers are the age group that accesses social media the most for several purposes such as communicating, seeking information, seeking entertainment, etc. The large use of social media among teenagers can provide opportunities for teenagers to become victims of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can have negative impact on the physical and mental health of its victims and therefore protective factors are needed from the negative impacts that arise. In this case, researchers want to know the relationship between cyberbullying and forgiveness in teenagers. This research uses a systematic literature review method by searching for articles with the help of Publish or Perish software based on keywords determined by the researcher. Based on these keywords, researchers found more than 600 articles that were published in 2018-2023 and then 16 articles that were closely related to this research were used. The research results show that cyberbullying is related to forgiveness because based on several studies it was found that forgiveness is a protective factor from the negative impact of cyberbullying. Adolescents who practice forgiveness will preventing victims from taking revenge against perpetrators and preventing victims from becoming perpetrators of cyberbullying, have fewer negative influences, have higher life satisfaction, mental health, happiness, psychological well-being and subjective well-being, and process anger appropriately. The implications of this research refer to the importance of the environment around teenagers such as parents, teachers, etc. to suppress risk factors for cyberbullying and an understanding of the importance of forgiveness also needs to be instilled in teenagers when cyberbullying occurs to them so that it can reduce the negative effects that can arise.

Abstract

Tidur merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang harus terpenuhi untuk menjaga kesehatan fisik manusia. Akan tetapi, kebutuhan tidur ini terkadang tidak dapat terpenuhi karena adanya gangguan tidur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab dari gangguan tidur berdasarkan kajian psikologi lintas budaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan systematic literature review dengan mengumpulkan artikel dengan bantuan software Publish or Perish dari beberapa sumber seperti Google Schoolar, SINTA, dan DOAJ dalam kurun waktu 2019-2024. Keyword yang digunakan antara lain “gangguan tidur”, “sleep disorders” dan “psikologi lintas budaya” dan didapatkan 780 artikel. Peneliti menggunakan 10 yang sesuai dengan kriteria dan berkaitan erat dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan faktor penyebab dari gangguan tidur pada kelompok usia anak-anak, remaja, dewasa dan lansia. Perbedaan ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi gangguan tidur antara lain genetik, kondisi medis dan psikologis, serta gaya hidup termasuk kebiasaan merokok, minum kafein, pola makan, screen time, dan aktivitas fisik. Sedangkan faktor eksternal seperti keadaan lingkungan, orang tua, budaya, kepercayaan, dan praktik. Berdasarkan kajian lintas budaya, faktor gangguan tidur dari perbedaan budaya tertentu antara lain pada kelompok usia anak-anak adalah praktik co-sleeping dan kelompok remaja adalah perilaku screentime, mengonsumsi minuman mengandung kafein serta merokok. Sedangkan pada kelompok usia dewasa adalah stres, merokok, ketergantungan obat, zat, narkoba, dan kelompok lansia adalah kondisi medis, merokok, serta aktivitas fisik. Gangguan tidur ini dapat mempengaruhi fisik, psikologis, dan produktivitas.

Background. In the context of higher education, academic inequality is a serious obstacle in achieving equitable learning outcomes among students. Factors such as educational background, learning styles, and differences in mastery of material are the main triggers for this inequality. To overcome this challenge, innovative approaches such as adaptive learning based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as a potential solution. Purpose. This research aims to investigate the potential of AI-based adaptive learning in overcoming academic inequality among students. By combining AI technology, this research seeks to provide personalized solutions tailored to each student's learning needs. Method. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey model. A total of 20 respondents were selected representatively to provide their views on learning experiences, preferences and views regarding adaptive learning. This survey provides relevant data to understand whether the implementation of AI-based adaptive learning can be considered an effective measure to reduce academic inequality. Results. The research results show that the majority of respondents face difficulties in understanding course material in general. However, most also expressed openness to the use of AI-based adaptive learning. This positive perception can be an indication of the potential success of implementing this technology as a solution to overcome academic inequality. Conclusion. Taking into account the research results, AI-based adaptive learning is promising as a solution that can align the learning needs of individual students. Although implementation challenges remain, this research provides initial impetus for further exploration of the application of AI technologies in achieving academic equity in higher education settings.

Abstract

Adolescents are a group of individuals who are vulnerable to experiencing anxiety due to various factors that influence them. Anxiety that occurs in adolescents has several negative impacts on physique, psychology, and self-development of adolescents. If this anxiety is not overcome, it will evoke other symptoms and disorders that are more serious. Because of many negative impacts that arise when adolescents experience anxiety, an intervention is needed to overcome it, one of which can be done with mindfulness. This research uses a systematic literature review method using Publish or Perish software to collect articles from several sources such as Google Scholar, Research Gate, SINTA, DOAJ and Scopus. The keywords used are “mindfulness”, “anxiety”, “kecemasan”, “remaja”, “adolescents” and “teenage”. Based on these keywords, more than 500 articles published in 2019-2024 were found. Next, the researcher used 16 articles that were closely related to this research with a total of samples of 6.034. The research results show that mindfulness has proven effective in overcoming adolescents’ anxiety and there is a negative relationship between mindfulness and anxiety that adolescents who have high mindfulness will have low anxiety and vice versa. There are several programs of mindfulness intervention that can be carried out by adolescents, ranging from formal to informal practices that can be practiced when doing daily activities according to needs, situations and conditions.
