Abstract

Wounds are damage to a network unit or component which results in a specific tissue substance being damaged or lost. Wound healing is the body's response when an injury occurs to various injuries with a complex regeneration process that can result in continuous restoration of anatomy and function. Binahong (Anredera scandens (L.) Moq.) is a typical Indonesian plant which is used to treat various kinds of diseases, one of which is to treat various kinds of wounds. This study used the literature review method, searched journals with the Google Schoolar database with inclusion and exclusion criteria for published articles between 2006-2023 and found 14 articles, but after filtering, 10 articles were finally discussed. Journals are selected using PRISMA. This research shows that several studies discussing the effect of binahong leaves on wound healing have proven to be effective for use and have the same effectiveness as other wound healing.

Abstract

The Al Jabbar Grand Mosque, located in Bandung, West Java Province, has a land area of ​​26 Ha, which is surrounded by a lake and various types of plants in it. Data regarding the types of plants found in the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque area is still minimal, so it is important to package it in the form of an inventory. Plants have various benefits, one of which is as a phytoremediation agent. This research aims to inventory plants in the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque area and their potential as phytoremediation agents based on literature studies. The method used is a qualitative approach method where observations are carried out and interviews are carried out with informants using a purposive sampling method. The data obtained was analyzed with reference to journals and books. The research results showed that there were 80 plant species, from 68 plant genera and from 37 family. There are 11 plant species that have the potential to act as phytoremediation agents in the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque area.

Abstract

Moringa oleifera plants as traditional medicine used by the people of Cibeas Village, Cintaraja Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency. This study aims to determine the use of moringa plants as traditional medicine. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with data collection techniques through observation, semi-structured interviews, and snowball sampling. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the utility value (Use Value/UV), informant context factors (Informant Consensus Factor/ICF), and relative citation frequency (Relative Frequency of Citation/RFC). The results showed that moringa plants are used to treat 12 types of diseases, with the highest utilization for lowering hypertension (UV = 0.296). The leaves are the most frequently used part (ICF = 0.952).

Abstract

Vegetative propagation is an effective method for producing high quality plant seeds with similar characteristics to the parent plant. Techniques such as grafting and grafting are used to accelerate growth and increase plant resistance to pests and diseases. The advantages of this method compared to generative propagation include a faster fruiting period and consistency in the aroma and taste of the fruit. This research also highlights the importance of genetic compatibility between rootstock and scion and the use of phytohormones in the success of vegetative propagation techniques. The results show that both techniques can increase plant productivity, speed up fruiting time, and produce plants that are stronger and more adaptive to environmental conditions
