Abstract

This study scrutinizes the evolution of political education research over three decades, aiming to identify the most prolific authors, affiliations, and countries, to map research trends, and to suggest directions for future inquiry. Utilizing bibliometric methods, data were collected from Scopus and WOS databases, converted into RIS format, and analyzed with Rstudio and VosViewer. Findings reveal a marked increase in political education research, highlighting its growing significance in response to current global dynamics. The United States stands out with the highest international citation count, indicating its pivotal role in the field. The analysis underscores the relevance of linking political education to a country's political landscape. Consequently, this research advocates for more nuanced studies on the application of political education tailored to national contexts, to enhance its efficacy and impact globally.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of country of origin on purchase intention, mediated by perceived quality and brand credibility among consumers of ride-hailing services in Indonesia. Conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach via Google Forms survey, data analysis utilized the SEM-PLS method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. Findings reveal positive and significant effects of country of origin and brand credibility on purchase intention. However, perceived quality does not significantly influence purchase intention. Brand credibility mediates the relationship between country of origin and purchase intention, while perceived quality does not. The gap between findings and concepts presents a limitation for researchers but offers opportunities for future analysis. This research contributes a fresh perspective on the impact of country of origin on purchase intention among Indonesian ride-hailing consumers.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between compensation and employee retention, with a focus on the mediating roles of Blue Ocean Leadership and Employee Work Engagement among Generation Z employees in West Java. Grounded in Social Exchange Theory, the research highlights how compensation influences retention directly and indirectly. Using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 217 respondents representing various industries. The results reveal that compensation has a significant positive impact on employee retention. Furthermore, Blue Ocean Leadership and Employee Work Engagement mediate this relationship, though their effects are relatively limited. The findings underscore the importance of integrating financial incentives with innovative leadership practices and engagement strategies to improve retention rates. Practical implications suggest that organizations should enhance compensation frameworks while fostering inclusive leadership and meaningful engagement initiatives. Future research should explore additional mediators and longitudinal impacts to deepen understanding of these dynamics.
