Abstract

One of the Arabic language skills is writing skills. Writing skills are considered the most difficult Arabic language skills because students must have sufficient Arabic language skills, one of which is having the ability to use Adawat Al-Rabth correctly. This research aims to determine the relationship between the ability to use Adawat al-Rabth and the ability to Insha'. The method used in this research is quantitative with an associative relationship test type. The research population was students of Arabic Language Education at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 50 people. The instruments used to obtain data were a written test to determine insha' ability and a questionnaire with a Likert scale to determine ability to use Adawat al-Rabth. Data analysis uses a correlation formula to determine the relationship between the ability to use Adawat al-Rabth and the Insha' ability of students. The results of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between the two variables, where the correlation coefficient value is 0.674, indicating that there is a "moderate relationship" between the two. This means that the better the students' ability to use Adawat al-Rabth, the better their insha' abilities will be. These findings produce knowledge for Arabic language teachers that students' proficiency in writing Arabic is influenced by their ability to use Adawat Al-Rabth.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe Arabic language learning methods used and the steps for implementing it by Arabic language teachers in class IX MTs Ali Maksum, Krapyak. The research used is qualitative research with the type of field research. Implemented data collection techniques through interviews and observations regarding school profiles and etc.  The research carried out has produced findings, that in teaching Arabic the teacher applies four learning methods, the methods are Granmar Translation method, audiolingual method, lecture method and eclectic method.  And the dominant method applied is the Granmar translation method.  As for the learning process, several methods are suitable for application in class IX, although there are several methods whose implementation is not in accordance with the steps that have been explained by previous researchers.  It is recommended for next researchers to conduct research on the constraints of a teacher in implementing an Arabic language learning method.Keywords: Learning Methods, Aplication, Arabicملخصالهدف من هذا البحث هو وصف طريقة تعلم اللغة العربية وخطوات تنفيذها من قبل معلمي اللغة العربية في الصف التاسع بالمدرسة المتوسطة علي معصوم كرابياك. طريقة البحث المستخدمة هي البحث النوعي الوصفي مع نوع من البحث الميداني. يتم تنفيذها من خلال تقنيات جمع البيانات في شكل مقابلات وملاحظات تتعلق بملف المدرسة بالإضافة إلى الملاحظات المباشرة في الفصل على مدار أربعة اجتماعات. وقد توصل البحث الذي تم إجراؤه إلى أن المعلمين طبقوا في عملية تعلم اللغة العربية أربع طرق تعليمية، وهي طريقة القواعد والترجمة، وطريقة السمعية والشفهية، وطريقة المحاضرة، والطريقة الانتقائية. وطريقة التعلم السائدة المطبقة هي طريقة القواعد والترجمة. أما بالنسبة لعملية التعلم، فهناك عدة طرق مناسبة للتطبيق في الفصل التاسع، على الرغم من وجود العديد من طرق التعلم التي لا يتوافق تنفيذها مع الخطوات التي وصفها الباحثون السابقون. يوصى الباحثين المستقبليين بإجراء بحث حول القيود أو العوائق التي يواجهها المعلم في تنفيذ طريقة تعلم اللغة العربية.الكلمات الرئيسية: طرقة التعلمية، التطبيق، اللغة العربيةAbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan langkah-langkah penerapannya oleh pendidik bahasa Arab di kelas IX MTs Ali Maksum Krapyak, Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitinan lapangan. Diterapkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi terkait profil sekolah serta pengamatan secara langsung di kelas selama empat kali pertemuan. Penelitian yang dilaksanakn mendapatkan temuan yaitu dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab para guru menerapkan empat metode pembelajaran yaitu metode granmar translation, metode audiolingual, metode ceramah dan metode eklektik. Dan metode pembelajaran yang dominan diterapkan yaitu metode granmar translation. Adapun dalam proses pembelajarannya, beberapa metode telah cocok diterapkan di kelas IX MTs Ali Maksum Krapyak, meskipun ada beberapa metode pembelajaran yang penerapannya kurang sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah dipaparkan para peneliti terdahulu. Direkomendasikan kepada peneliti berikutnya untuk melakukan penelitian tentang kendala atau hambatan seorang guru dalam menerapkan suatu metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab.Kata kunci:  Metode Pembelajaran, Penerapan, Bahasa Arab

Abstract

This study addresses students’ difficulties in learning Arabic due to the limited relevance of existing textbooks. Using Chomsky’s Transformative-Generative Grammar Theory (TGT) as an analytical framework, the research explores the application of singular transformation rules in the ninth-grade Arabic textbook published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Chomsky’s theory, which emphasizes grammatical structure and transformation processes, is applied to improve students’ grammatical and communicative competence. Employing a qualitative descriptive design with a library-based approach, the study identifies six transformation rules: elimination, expansion, addition, change of order, replacement, and abbreviation. The findings indicate that integrating TGT into Arabic instruction through methods such as the Direct Method can enhance students’ grammatical understanding and vocabulary mastery. The study suggests that future research examine other linguistic aspects of similar textbooks to further strengthen the pedagogical application of linguistic theory in Arabic learning.
