Abstract

The study of the existence of ornaments on the pelinggih (temple) buildings that utilise the black stone material of Mount Agung is considered to be only a tiny part of the ornamental manifestations applied to the black stone pelinggih building of Mount Agung when compared to the application of pelinggih ornaments using solid stone materials in general. It is done as an economic production that needs to be sold to the public, especially for Hindus in Bali. To explore this, the researcher uses socio-cultural and aesthetic approaches. The presentation of this article aims to describe (1) The form of the pelinggih temple building that has been used in the community as a place of worship. (2) The existence of ornaments, which are applied to the parts of the pelinggih building, according to the existing parts, such as the feet, the body and the top. (3) Factors influencing the creation of pelinggih with black stone material of Mount Agung, featuring ornaments with minimalist patterns. It is hoped that this research can also be used as a basis for future research to find solutions in developing techniques for sculpting or carving ornaments that utilise the black stone material of Mount Agung, using modern tools. The research approach used was descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through field surveys, literature studies, observations and interviews. Data can be collected, processed, classified and reduced, then analysed using textual and contextual analysis and interpretation. Descriptive qualitative research method that describes situations or events to make a description systematically, factually, and accurately about the facts and the characteristics of the population or sample of a particular area (Suryabrata, 2005: 76). Data in verbal form is often contained in different words with the same meaning and long and wide sentences. In conclusion, the description of ornaments on pelinggih (temple) buildings that use the black stone material of Mount Agung is related to the dominant factors that influence the embodiment of decorations. Although the structure and form of the pelinggih in the preparation have followed the ethics or the existing rules, the application of ornaments in detail is minimal, only in the form of basic patterns, both at the bottom feet, body or middle and head or top. Abstract

Penciptaan ini memerlukan objek studi sebagai kajian sumber untuk memperdalam dan mematangkan konsep, terutama membentuk struktur karya yang memiliki dasar pemikiran yang kuat dan dapat dijadikan sumber inspirasi penciptaan seni kriya. Tinjauan sumber penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk melacak karya-karya yang objek dan topiknya sama, serta untuk menunjukkan perbedaan dengan karya yang pencipta ciptakan, baik material, teknik dan konsep penciptaan. Objek studi dapat diperoleh dari sumber tertulis atau tekstual, yaitu: buku, majalah, manuskrip lontar, internet dan sumber visual, seperti data yang di kumpulkan seperti: gambar, lukisan, relief kayu, batu, logam, patung berbahan kayu, perunggu, prasi, video, sumber-sumber lisan, diskusi maupun wawancara. Memahami hal ini, dapat menambah daya kreativitas dalam penciptaan karya seni, sehingga menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda/baru antara karya seni yang dicipta dengan karya yang diacu. Mencermati beberapa visualisasi binatang, pencipta akan mengambil sikap yang berbeda dalam menentukan wujud karya kriya yang digarap, baik dalam pemilihan tema, bahan dan teknik. Sehingga dapat menumbuhkan penghargaan terhadap karya seni dan budaya.

Abstract

Industri fast fashion dikenal karena kemampuannya untuk menghasilkan pakaian dengan cepat. Merek-merek fast fashion dapat merespons tren mode terbaru dengan mempercepat proses desain, produksi, dan distribusi. Hal ini memungkinkan mereka untuk menawarkan koleksi baru dengan cepat, seringkali dalam hitungan minggu. Produksi massal dalam industri fast fashion dapat memiliki dampak serius pada lingkungan. Proses pewarnaan tekstil, penggunaan bahan kimia, dan pengelolaan limbah yang kurang baik dapat menyebabkan pencemaran air dan tanah. Selain itu, limbah tekstil dari pakaian yang tidak terpakai menjadi masalah serius. Proses produksi tekstil dan pakaian dalam industri fast fashion menggunakan banyak bahan kimia berbahaya, seperti pewarna sintetis dan zat kimia pengolahan tekstil. Limbah cair dari pabrik-pabrik dapat mencemari air, sedangkan pembuangan limbah padat dapat menyebabkan pencemaran tanah. Produksi kain dan pakaian memerlukan penggunaan air yang sangat besar. Proses pewarnaan dan finishing tekstil, khususnya pada serat sintetis, dapat menggunakan banyak air dan menciptakan limbah beracun yang mempengaruhi kualitas air. Pewarna alam dapat menjadi alternatif yang lebih berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan dibandingkan dengan pewarna sintetis dalam konteks maraknya fast fashion. Penggunaan pewarna alam dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan kimia berbahaya dan mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dibandingkan pewarna sintetis. Pewarna alam sering kali lebih mudah diuraikan dan dapat dipecah oleh mikroorganisme secara alami. Ini meningkatkan potensi daur ulang dan mengurangi akumulasi limbah tekstil yang sulit terurai. Tumbuhan yang digunakan untuk pewarna alam sering ditanam dengan metode pertanian organik, mengurangi penggunaan pestisida dan bahan kimia sintetis. Ini dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan mengurangi dampak negatif pada ekosistem pertanian.

Abstract

The Internship/Work Practice Activity of the Independent Learning Independent Campus Program this time was carried out by the author at the KT. Jaya Stone Sculpture Studio located in Banjar Sengguan, Singapadu , Sukawati, Gianyar. The Studio Owner, in addition to as sculptor is also one of the skilled dance artists . The basic material used in making statue use processed waste rock that is easily found around the studio. The works the besides functioning profane there are also natures sacred in accordance with existing orders. Manufacturing process work at the beginning with demonstrate various dance moves for get quality character in accordance with desired figure. This internship program, the author wants to learn about the form and character of the work Paksi Dari, Monkey, Godogan (Frog), Sidakarya and dog using a rock.
