Abstract

The ability to differentiate standard language from non-standard language is an important aspect in learning Indonesian. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of using Enhanced Spelling (EYD) in improving students' ability to differentiate between standard and non-standard language. The method used is a literature study by examining in depth the EYD guidelines published by the Language Development and Development Agency, as well as analyzing scientific journals related to the application of EYD in learning. The results of the study show that the EYD guidelines provide a list of standard and non-standard words arranged alphabetically as well as clear and systematic rules for writing standard language. Several previous studies revealed that intensive use of word lists and rules can increase students' mastery of standard vocabulary and understanding of the differences between standard and non-standard language. However, the obstacle in implementing EYD in the field is the teacher's lack of understanding of the existing rules. Therefore, intensive training and socialization is needed for teachers so that the use of EYD can be optimal in improving students' ability to differentiate between standard and non-standard languages. This research concludes that the EYD guide is a very effective source for improving these abilities by providing a clear list of words and standard language rules as a guide for teachers and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak budaya global terhadap praktik moderasi beragama dan resolusi konflik keagamaan di Indonesia, dengan menitikberatkan pada Filsafat Pancasila, khususnya Sila Pertama, “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa.” Menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan, studi ini menganalisis perubahan sosial akibat globalisasi dan bagaimana nilai-nilai global berinteraksi dengan praktik keagamaan lokal. Landasan teori yang digunakan meliputi teori konflik sosial, teori akulturasi budaya, dan teori moderasi beragama, yang semuanya dihubungkan dengan prinsip-prinsip Sila Pertama Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya global membawa dampak positif dengan meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya toleransi dan akomodasi dalam beragama. Namun, juga terdapat tantangan berupa gesekan dengan nilai-nilai lokal yang lebih konservatif. Sila Pertama Pancasila berfungsi sebagai landasan untuk menyelesaikan konflik keagamaan melalui dialog antarumat beragama dan pendidikan multikultural. Kesimpulannya, integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan aspek positif dari budaya global dapat menciptakan moderasi beragama yang dinamis dan harmonis, membentuk wajah globalisasi yang lebih inklusif di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of professional teacher organizations on the development of teacher professionalism in junior high schools. Teachers as professionals need a platform to improve their competence and develop themselves on an ongoing basis. Teacher professional organizations play an important role in facilitating teacher professionalism development activities. This research uses a library method by collecting and reviewing various literature sources such as books, journals, research reports and scientific articles that are relevant to the research topic. The collected data was then analyzed qualitatively to determine the influence of professional teacher organizations on the development of teacher professionalism. The research results show that professional teacher organizations make a significant contribution in improving teachers' pedagogical, personal, social and professional competencies through various activities such as training, seminars, scientific discussion forums, as well as providing the latest learning resources and information.
