Abstract

Sidobandung Village is a village that will develop the potential as a tourism village. One of the potentials that has been successfully built is a reservoir. With the construction of the reservoir in this village, tourism activities began to be seen. The number of visitors who came increases the village's income. Yet, Currently it only open on daytime conditions. Therefore, in its development, there is a desire to open services at night. The problem is how to reduce electricity costs. One of the facilities to support this is to build a floating generator (PLTS) which was built in collaboration with one of the expert vocational colleges in the field of floating buildings located in Surabaya. This floating PLTS is a renewable energy source, in accordance with the village's wish to become an educational tourism village. This floating PLTS is expected to be able to supply 30 lamps which each having a power of 50 watts for street lighting around the reservoir. The total lamp load is about 100 watts. The PLTS system that was built consists of 10 solar cell panels, each solar cell panel has a capacity of 330 WP. With a total of 4 batteries with specifications of 12 Volt 200 Ah. This system is being evaluated. The evaluation results show that the battery capacity is only able to supply 15 lamps for 12 hours. So to supply all the required load, 12 batteries are needed.

Abstract

Corrosion is damage caused by chemical reactions between metal materials and other natural elements and is destructive to metal. Corrosion is a weakness in ships made of steel, namely because the rate of ship corrosion, fatigue life is reduced, tensile strength and other mechanical properties are reduced. Corrosion is concentrated on only certain parts. In metal corrosion current flow out onto other parts of the metal surface. Corrosion gastric plates result in reduction Hull panel strength, slowing the ship and reduces security guarantees. The hull must be protected from corrosive attacks routine to prevent loss of additional plates substantially due to seawater corrosion. For Prevent hull corrosion in the painting process for coating, cathodic protection process. In this article, a system for automatically detecting ship hull painting results using image processing is explained. This system will be developed into a portable system. The results obtained show that the system is able to recognize whether the painting results can be accepted or rejected. Accepted means no need to repaint. and if it is rejected, it means a repainting process is needed.

Abstract

The application of machine monitoring systems is currently increasingly needed, one of which is on generators. Generator sets are one of the important elements in providing energy needed in company operations. However, to ensure optimal performance and prevent unexpected engine damage, careful monitoring of the generator set's operational conditions is required, especially of key variables such as temperature, rotation speed, and engine vibration. The purpose of this study is to identify the condition of the generator set using three parameters. In this research, adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is used as a tool to model the relationship between inputs (temperature, speed, and vibration) and outputs (engine condition). The dataset for normal conditions amounted to 25 data and for abnormal conditions amounted to 25 data. From this data, an RMSE of 0.000032 was obtained in the 3-3-5 membership function structure with a trapezoidal type membership function. And at the stage of applying fuzzy to the Omron PLC, the RMSE is 0. Simulations are carried out to test the effectiveness of ANFIS in predicting machine conditions based on monitored parameters.

Abstract

The need for information about weather conditions in a particular environment is very necessary for the community, so that they can plan activities for the future. A forecaster cannot process data to predict weather or climate conditions if it is not accompanied by historical data within a predetermined time period. Data is a very important savings for future generations, because data will make the nation's generation smart. Without data, all previous information would not be known to be studied. The current condition of the earth is very worrying and not easy to predict. Therefore, it is very important to have integrated observations and services in coastal and marine areas to support resilience to climate change and other marine hazards.Sustainable marine observations and services are very important and relevant to reduce potential problems and threats arising from climate change. In this paper we will discuss the creation of a tool for monitoring weather, where this tool will take data on humidity, temperature and rainfall. so that from this data we can predict weather conditions in the area. By using the fuzzy method, the combination of these three data can be used by fishermen to make decisions about whether it is still safe to go to sea.The system is built based on Arduino using muoring buoy media. where this tool will be placed in the sea. The power supply system uses solar cells, so that it can independently meet the power needs of the equipment. From the test results the system can work normally and well.
