Abstract

Pemilu merupakan mekanisme yang ditempuh dalam sistem demokrasi untuk menghasilkan pemimpin atau pejabat publik, sedangkan masyarakat merupakan penunjang terlaksananya pemilu. Di Indonesia ada banyak problematikayang bermunculan saat dilaksanakan pemilihan umum seperti sikap-sikap fanatik yang mewujud dalam tindakan intoleransi, diskriminasi dan ujaran kebencian. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut terutama dalam pemilu 2024 kali ini. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah Library Survey. Penelitian perpustakaan adalah metode penelitian yang menggunakan literatur sebagai sumber datanya, seperti buku, Alkitab, majalah, daftar pustaka, karya, dan sumber bacaan lain yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Toleransi dan kebebasan dalam berpendapat memerlukan sikap dan perilaku yang berpedoman pada aturan dimana antar individu harus saling menghormati, menghargai, dan menahan diri. Toleransi sangat melarang deskriminasi terhadap orang lain maupun kelompok tertentu yang memiliki pemahaman berbeda dalam pemilu 2024. Dalam islam pun mengajarkan agar manusia selalu toleransi dan menghargai serta menghormati sesama manusia. Begitu juga kebebasan dalam berndapat tidak bisa dipungkiri karena setiap manusia mempunyai haknya dalam mengutarakan pendapatnya, namun pendapat yang utarakan dibatasi oleh kebebasan orang lain dan juga memiliki ketentuan tertentu untuk meminimalisir konflik antar individu maupun antar kelompok.

Abstract

Domestic violence refers to various physical, emotional, psychological, or sexual actions carried out by one family member against another within the household or domestic relationship. The author employs a descriptive analysis method in this research. The data source for this study is an article titled "Fakta Kasus KDRT di Depok: Suami dan Istri Sama-sama Jadi Tersangka, tapi Hanya Istri yang Ditahan" ("Facts of Domestic Violence Case in Depok: Both Husband and Wife Become Suspects, but Only the Wife Is Detained"). Data collection is conducted as follows: (1) Thoroughly reading the violence case news to gain an overview and understanding of the presented news content. (2) Identifying data related to women in the domestic violence case news using the perspectives of the subject's position, object's position, and reader's position. (3) Analyzing data indicating domestic violence cases against women from the perspectives of the subject's position, object's position, and reader's position. (4) Interpreting data on domestic violence cases against women using the perspectives of the subject's position, object's position, and reader's position. (5) Drawing conclusions from the research results. Women are portrayed as subjects, not objects of exploitation. Meanwhile, the object in the text is her husband/the actor committing violence. The reader, as the subject, is shaped by the reporting (ideological subject), accepting it as a reality. The author's suggestions include paying attention to up-to-date information and determining society's stance towards the violence experienced by women in the presented news. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character and understanding of spiritual values. One of the essential topics in the PAI curriculum for Grade XI is "Marriage Provisions in Islam," which is highly relevant for building religious insight and understanding Islamic family life. However, the learning outcomes of Grade XI-3 students at SMAN 3 Lumajang show that only 40% of students meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC), with the monotony of conventional teaching methods cited as one of the main contributing factors. To address this issue, this study implemented the Cooperative Learning Jigsaw model to enhance students' learning outcomes. This classroom action research was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The study involved 36 students from Grade XI-3, with data collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed a significant improvement in student performance, with mastery levels increasing from 40% in the pre-cycle to 63.8% in the first cycle and 91.7% in the second cycle. Besides improving cognitive learning outcomes, students' participation in group discussions and social skills, such as cooperation and communication, also increased. This study concludes that the Cooperative Learning Jigsaw model is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes, participation, and social skills. The application of this model contributes to the development of innovative teaching methods that align with the needs of students in the classroom.
