Abstract

This research explores the utilization of the Canva application as an instructional aid in computer science education at the junior high school level with the aim of identifying how Canva can be effectively used in the learning process and its impact on students' understanding and engagement in computer science subjects. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The findings indicate that the use of Canva enhances student engagement and understanding of computer science concepts. Students responded positively to Canva, feeling comfortable and enthusiastic about using the application as a learning tool. Challenges in Canva implementation include the availability of technological devices and teacher training. This study recommends providing adequate training for teachers, integrating Canva into the curriculum, and improving technology infrastructure in schools.

Abstract

This research focuses on the design and development of a prototype information system for transaction recap and guest data management at PT. XYZ. The research addresses the challenges of data inaccuracies and inefficiencies observed in the current system. The methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, followed by interviews, observations, and the application of the waterfall model for system design. The proposed prototype features a web-based interface designed to streamline transaction recording, data management, and reporting processes. The system aims to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. Initial evaluations of the prototype indicate improvements in data management, although further refinements are needed before the system can be fully implemented. This research provides valuable insights into the development of effective information systems tailored to organizational needs.

Abstract

Abstrak Saat ini PT Ismadi Salam Batam dalam menjalankan penjualan BBM belum menggunakan simulasi perhitungan kebutuhan persediaan BBM di SPBU untuk pengambilan keputusan pimpinan, hal ini menyebabkan sering terjadi kekosongan stok di masing-masing SPBU. karena itu penulis tertarik membuat sebuah system pemodelan simulasi perhitungan persediaan BBM menggunakan metode Monte Carlo dan Pola LCM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini nantinya untuk mensimulasikan perhitungan penjualan BBM dengan cara membandingkan penjualan BBM pada bulan-bulan sebelumnya untuk memprediksikan ketersediaan BBM dibulan berikutnya agar pihak manajemen tau berapa banyak stok BBM yang harus disediakan di masing-masing SPBU. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah waterfall dengan pemodelan UML (Unified Model Language) yang terdiri dari use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram dan class diagram. Sistem dirancang menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman JAVA. Kata kunci: BBM, Identifikasi, Simulasi, Optimalisasi, Monte Carlo, PT Ismadi Salam

Abstract

Pengenalan wajah telah menjadi salah satu teknologi penting dalam pengolahan citra dan biometrik, dengan berbagai aplikasi di sektor keamanan, perbankan, dan layanan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teknologi pengolahan citra dalam pengenalan wajah, dengan meninjau berbagai metode deteksi, ekstraksi fitur, dan klasifikasi yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem pengenalan wajah. Berdasarkan tinjauan sepuluh artikel yang relevan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kemajuan signifikan dalam penggunaan teknik deep learning, terutama Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), yang telah meningkatkan akurasi dan ketahanan sistem terhadap variasi kondisi wajah, seperti pencahayaan dan pose. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan terkait dengan privasi, etika, dan efisiensi komputasi yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini juga memberikan saran untuk pengembangan teknologi pengenalan wajah lebih lanjut, termasuk penggunaan autentikasi multi-faktor, optimasi algoritma, dan peningkatan kebijakan privasi. Di masa depan, pengenalan wajah diprediksi akan terus berkembang dengan kemajuan teknologi, tetapi tetap harus diimbangi dengan kebijakan yang menjaga keamanan dan privasi pengguna.

Abstract

Cloud Computing has rapidly evolved into a key technology supporting modern information systems. Its ability to provide flexible data storage, management, and access via the internet has made it a preferred solution across various sectors, including business, education, healthcare, and government. The widespread adoption of Cloud Computing is driven by its potential to reduce operational costs, enhance scalability, and improve system reliability. However, despite these advantages, significant challenges remain, particularly regarding data security, privacy, resource management, and system integration. The reliance on third-party service providers raises concerns about data breaches and cyber threats, necessitating continuous advancements in security technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI). This study conducts a comprehensive literature review to analyze the latest developments in Cloud Computing, identifying key trends, challenges, and future opportunities. The findings suggest that while Cloud Computing continues to offer transformative benefits, addressing its security and management challenges is crucial for its optimal implementation. Future advancements in AI-driven security solutions and system efficiency optimizations are expected to further enhance Cloud Computing’s role in modern information systems.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) telah berkembang pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, memberikan dampak signifikan di berbagai sektor seperti manufaktur, kesehatan, transportasi, dan smart city. Meskipun IoT menawarkan kemajuan besar dalam otomatisasi dan efisiensi, implementasinya menghadapi tantangan besar terkait latensi, konsumsi bandwidth yang tinggi, dan masalah keamanan data. Salah satu solusi yang dianggap mampu mengatasi tantangan ini adalah Edge Computing, sebuah paradigma komputasi terdistribusi yang memindahkan pemrosesan data lebih dekat ke perangkat edge untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, mengurangi latensi, dan memperkuat keamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Edge Computing dalam mendukung kinerja IoT melalui kajian literatur, dengan fokus pada manfaat, tantangan, dan teknologi yang diterapkan dalam sistem IoT berbasis Edge Computing. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Edge Computing dapat mengurangi latensi, meningkatkan efisiensi energi, serta memperkuat keamanan dan keandalan sistem IoT. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan daya komputasi pada perangkat edge dan kebutuhan akan infrastruktur yang mendukung masih perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam dan rekomendasi strategis terkait pengembangan dan penerapan Edge Computing di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the latest trends, technological developments, and innovative applications of digital image processing across various sectors. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach, the research analyzes ten recent and relevant scholarly articles published between 2017 and 2025. The findings reveal a significant shift toward deep learning-based methods, particularly convolutional neural networks (CNNs), which dominate tasks such as classification, segmentation, and object detection. Digital image processing is increasingly applied in healthcare, agriculture, industrial automation, traffic surveillance, and smart city infrastructure. The integration with real-time systems and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), as well as the availability of large public datasets, has further accelerated innovation in this field. Despite its advancements, challenges such as high computational requirements, ethical concerns, and the need for large-scale annotated data remain. This research highlights the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and responsible AI development to address these limitations and maximize the potential of image processing technologies in real-world applications.
