An understanding of vowels and consonants is essential in learning English. In English, vowels and consonants play a role in forming words, facilitating effective communication, and forming distinctive phonemic patterns. This abstract highlights the importance of understanding these basic concepts. The focus includes vowel recognition, variations in pronunciation, and the role of each in the formation of words. A firm grasp of these concepts is important for improving English speaking and comprehension skills. Through a deep understanding, English learners can expand their vocabulary, improve conversation, and adjust to various communicative situations in English. This abstract highlights the urgency of this understanding in the context of English language learning and underlines the central role of vowels and consonants in language formation and communication.

Strategi kesantunan dan ketidaksantunan dalam komunikasi digital dianalisis melalui pendekatan pragmatik, dengan fokus pada pola linguistik dalam bahasa Inggris di berbagai platform. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari media sosial, email, dan aplikasi pesan yang dianalisis menggunakan teori kesantunan dan ketidaksantunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penanda linguistik, seperti emoji dan indikator nada, serta pengaruh variasi budaya, dinamika kekuasaan, dan norma platform terhadap praktik komunikasi. Kesantunan mendukung kerja sama, sementara ketidaksantunan sering digunakan untuk konflik atau dominasi, tergantung pada konteks dan anonimitas. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman perilaku pragmatik di ruang virtual dan menawarkan wawasan untuk mendorong interaksi digital yang efektif dan hormat.

Slow learners often experience difficulties in understanding and retaining learning materials, requiring instructional strategies that accommodate their cognitive characteristics. This study aims to investigate teachers’ efforts to improve slow learners’ learning comprehension through the implementation of the Feynman Technique and Active Recall in inclusive classrooms. A qualitative case study design was employed involving classroom teachers and slow learners selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings revealed that teachers integrated the Feynman Technique by encouraging students to explain concepts in their own words and implemented Active Recall through repeated questioning, retrieval exercises, and gradual reinforcement of learning materials. The combination of these strategies enhanced students’ classroom participation, conceptual understanding, and memory retention compared to conventional explanation-based instruction. The study also found that the effectiveness of both strategies was strengthened when supported by individualized guidance, visual learning media, and emotional support. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the Feynman Technique and Active Recall as complementary cognitive-based strategies to improve both comprehension and retention among slow learners in inclusive classroom settings.
