Abstract

To enhance the local economy, tourism development through tourist villages requires the active participation of local residents. Angsana Tourist Village, located in Setu Village, Jasinga District, Bogor Regency, is one such village with great potential for further tourism development, thanks to its natural beauty and unique culture. However, the village still faces several challenges. The main challenges include inadequate promotion of previously designed tour packages and insufficient village funds to complete necessary infrastructure. To address these issues, a community service activity (PkM) was conducted by students from the Tourism study program, focusing on the renewal of existing tour packages and training in the use of social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok for promotional purposes. Through interviews and observations, the previous tour package was updated into the One Day Tour package in Angsana Tourist Village. Training on using TikTok and video editing with the CapCut app was also provided to improve the villagers' ability to promote the newly designed tour package. It is hoped that through these activities, Angsana Tourist Village will attract more tourists, thereby boosting the local economy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), commonly known as UMKM in Indonesia, represent small-scale businesses undertaken by individuals or small groups with the aim ofmeeting daily needs or generating additional income. Many of these enterprises operate without proper legal documentation, such as Business Identification Number (NIB) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Due to their perceived modest scale, these businesses often neglect the development of robust branding, social media presence, and promotional strategies. This lack of attention poses challenges when others attempt to replicate similar products or ventures using identical names, logos, and other elements and subsequently seek legal recognition. In response to this issue, a group of 2021 undergraduate students majoring in Tourism at Pradita University initiated a community service project to assist MSMEs in obtaining legal recognition. The selected MSME for this project was "Dapur Si Mbull" in Cikarang. The students engaged in fieldwork to facilitate the legal registration process for the business. The culmination of their efforts resulted in Dapur Si Mbull obtaining the necessary legal documentation, safeguarding its identity from unauthorized use by others.
