Abstract

Soil Transmissible Helminthiasis (STH) is still a public health problem in countries with tropical and sub-tropical climates, including Indonesia. The prevalence of worms in Indonesia currently ranges from 20-86 percent with an average of 30 percent. This frequently occurring disease really disrupts children's growth and development. Worm control efforts are directed at breaking the chain of transmission of worms, namely the toddler and school age groups, with 1 ) administer medicationmass prevention of worms in vulnerable groups to stop the spread of worm eggs from sufferers to the surrounding environment, 2) improving sanitation hygiene, and 3) cultivating clean and healthy living behavior through health promotion. Through this community service activity, socialization activities on the use and administration of worm medicine have been implemented. In Toddlers at Posyandu Bougenville IV, Tiban Baru. This activity is useful for children under five so that they always receive worm medicine and socialize and increase mothers' understanding about how important it is to give worm medicine to toddlers. Activities to socialize the use and administration of worm medicine to toddlers can increase public knowledge. There are still some people, especially mothers with toddlers, who rarely give them worm medicine.

Abstract

Hydrocotyle verticillata Thub is a plant that can be used to treat burns. Usnic acid can inhibit pathogenic microorganisms and can act as an anti-inflammatory, both of which can contribute to the wound healing process. The aim of this research is to determine the extract of gotu kola leaves which is formulated into a gel preparation. Gel is a semi-solid system produced by small particles or large organic molecules that penetrate through a liquid. The gel is easy to use, easily absorbed into the skin, and contains soothing and moisturizing properties that have a healing effect. Gel formulations were made with varying concentrations of HPMC F1 (8%), F2 (8%), F3 (8%), F4 (9%), F5 (10%). The gel produced organoleptically has a distinctive gel aroma, green to brownish in color. In the homogeneity test, all preparations were homogeneous and there were no granules, the pH test showed a pH value ranging from 5.17-6.36, the spreadability test was 5.1-6.4 cm. In the viscosity test, the results were 9,250-40,000 cps, the adhesion test obtained results in 13-64 seconds and the cycling test was stable during storage. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of gotu kola leaves (Hydrocotyle verticillata Thub)can be formulated into a gel preparation and the results of the physical evaluation of the ethanol extract gel preparation of gotu kola leaves(Hydrocotyle verticillata Thub) with varying concentrations of HPMC and the addition of usnic acid are satisfactory. condition.

Abstract

Puskesmas is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts and individual health efforts at the first level. In an effort to improve pharmacy services at the puskesmas, evaluation needs to be done by assessing patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to assess the satisfaction of National Health Insurance patients with pharmacy services at the puskesmas. This research was conducted for National Health Insurance patients who make up for drugs at Sekupang city of Batam. This type of research is descriptive research using a questionnaire research instrument. Data were processed using a Likert scale and the results of the study showed that the highest level of patient satisfaction with Pharmaceutical Services at Sekupang Health Center in Batam City was found in the  empathy variable (hospitality). In this study in general the results obtained from outpatient satisfaction of participants in the national health guarantee were very satisfying for respondents (85.86%).

Abstract

The guava plant, also known as Syzygium malaccense (L.) Merr. & Perry, is a member of the Myrtaceae family and is rich in antioxidants. The therapeutic properties of this plant have been known for centuries. When compared to other sections of the guava plant, the leaves have the largest concentration of flavonoids. The purpose of this research is to develop and assess the physical characteristics of five different formulations of a peel-off gel mask containing guava leaf extract (Syzygium malaccense (L.)) at concentrations of 0% (F0), 2% (F1), 4% (F2), 8% (F3), and 12% (F5). The recipe was found to be consistent in appearance, smell, and taste throughout the organoleptic testing. The results of tests on pH, spreadability, and viscosity were statistically different (p0.05). Results from 4°C viscosity tests showed a range of 3933-7167 Cps. pH values ranged from 5.08 to 6.48 and spreadability from 5.23 to 6.50 cm when tested at 4, 25, and 40 degrees Celsius, respectively. The drying time test at 25°C and 40°C revealed no significant variations (p>0.05), and the viscosity test yielded values between 4100 and 4933 Cps at both temperatures. Ten test subjects were not irritated by any of the tested formulations. Finally, F4 (0.8%) showed the finest physical quality when incorporated into a guava leaf extract peel-off gel mask.

Abstract

Physalis angulata L. (ciplukan) is an annual plant with potential medicinal properties, including pain relief. This study aims to formulate a cold cream containing ciplukan leaf extract and evaluate its physical stability. The leaf extract was obtained by maceration using 96% ethanol and concentrated using a rotary evaporator. Cold cream formulations were prepared with extract concentrations of 0%, 5%, and 10%, utilizing three types of oils (olive, caprylic, and paraffin). Evaluations included organoleptic properties, pH, homogeneity, adhesion, spreadability, viscosity, cream type, and stability, analyzed using One-Way ANOVA. Results showed that all formulations exhibited good physical properties and were classified as oil-in-water (O/W) type creams. pH values ranged from 4 to 6, adhesion times from 1.19 to 4.94 seconds, and spreadability from 4.52 to 5.16 cm, with no significant differences among extract concentrations or oil types (p > 0.05). Increasing the extract concentration from 5% to 10% resulted in a slight decrease in pH, which remained within the safe range, maintained homogeneity, slightly reduced spreadability, and improved physical stability, especially at 10%. The formulation containing 10% ciplukan leaf extract showed the best stability and was well accepted as a cold cream preparation.
