Abstract

This study aims to explore the contribution of educational psychology in the development of an inclusive and adaptive learning system at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman Tarowang, in order to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Using a qualitative approach with the case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, and observation of the learning process. The results show that teachers' understanding of educational psychology significantly plays a role in the application of learning strategies that are responsive to the diversity of students, where the principles of educational psychology, such as developmental theory and learning styles, are applied to adapt teaching methods and create a participatory learning environment. These findings indicate that teachers who integrate the principles of educational psychology are able to increase adaptability in learning through the adjustment of materials and evaluation methods that suit the needs of students. Further training on educational psychology is needed to strengthen teachers' capacity to deliver truly inclusive and adaptive learning, in order to support the overall academic and social development of students

Abstract

The free nutritious meal program aims to reduce stunting, but its success relies on public support. This study analyzes public sentiment toward the program on social media X using K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Logistic Regression (LR) algorithms with TF-IDF, a method to weigh important words. A total of 2,000 tweets were collected and preprocessed through cleaning, normalization, tokenization, stop word removal, and stemming. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) revealed predominantly positive sentiment, with class imbalance addressed using SMOTE, a data balancing technique. The KNN model achieved 78%–81% accuracy, with strong positive class performance, but weak negative class detection, due to data imbalance. Similarly, the LR model achieved 80%–81% accuracy, with positive recall ranging from 0.96 to 0.98 and negative recall ranging from 0.22 to 0.27, resulting in an F1-score below 0.38. Neutral sentiments had minimal impact. These results highlight model bias toward positive sentiments, underscoring the need for adaptive approaches to improve minority sentiment detection. The findings offer policymakers insights to address concerns about budget and implementation, enhancing trust in social programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of growth mindset and digital literacy on professional teacher work motivation with resilience as a mediating variable in public senior high schools in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This study employed an ex-post facto quantitative approach with a sample of 104 teachers selected using a proportional sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5, which consisted of indicators from four research variables: growth mindset, digital literacy, resilience, and teacher work motivation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential analysis through validity and reliability tests, as well as hypothesis testing. The results indicate that growth mindset significantly influences work motivation (t-statistic = 2.672, p-value = 0.004) and resilience (t-statistic = 4.200, p-value = 0.000). Digital literacy also significantly influences work motivation (t-statistic = 3.118, p-value = 0.001) and resilience (t-statistic = 3.431, p-value = 0.000). Additionally, resilience plays a significant role in work motivation (t-statistic = 4.547, p-value = 0.000). Mediation tests prove that resilience mediates the effect of growth mindset (t-statistic = 3.372, p-value = 0.000) and digital literacy (t-statistic = 2.677, p-value = 0.004) on work motivation. The R-square value of 0.686 indicates that 68.6% of the variation in work motivation is explained by the research model.
