Abstract

The current rise in cases of domestic violence poses a serious challenge to the Surabaya City Government. One of the steps that must be taken is to formulate and implement a policy in the context of prevention and resolution. This research aims to analyze the challenges in implementing the PUSPAGA program within an evidence-based policy frame. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive type and interactive model analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. Research in policy making tends to be ignored, evidence based policy has not been able to make the program achieve the envisioned goals and still needs improvement in the steps in making it, Pew MachArthur has prepared a working framework in the form of 5 backup components to make evidence based policy. As an improvement, researchers suggest optimizing the programs created by the government and conducting research for improvements in order to achieve the goal of improving the welfare of society.

Abstract

Nickel downstreaming is one of the government's policy programs in developing the mineral mining sector which is currently being developed to implement it. At the beginning of 2024, nickel downstreaming became an interesting topic discussed among the public, because it was mentioned in the vice presidential debate. This article analyzes how nickel downstreaming is implemented using Edward III's theory. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The data used in the research comes from the Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate and FreeFullPdf publication databases with the keywords nickel downstream, Indonesian nickel downstream, mineral downstream, Indonesian mineral downstream. Based on the results of the analysis, the nickel downstream program in Indonesia still requires investment to build a smelter, implement regulations that pay attention to the environment in mining activities, prioritize migrant workers over foreign workers in mining activities, study the manufacture of nickel to become semi-finished goods and should even be able to study the manufacture of electric batteries so that it can do independent production of finished goods.

Abstract

Anti-bullying socialization activities were carried out at SDN Karangrejo 03 and Yayasan Al-Ikhwaniyyah, Jember Regency, in response to the increasing cases of bullying in educational environments. The phenomenon of bullying that still often occurs, especially in verbal forms, requires real steps to increase awareness of students and educators about the negative impacts of this action. The methods used in this community service include initial observation, planning socialization materials, and implementing activities that include showing educational videos, interactive discussions, and ice-breaking sessions to encourage active participant involvement. The results of the activities showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of stopping bullying, although challenges were still found in the form of normalizing bullying behavior among students. In conclusion, this socialization succeeded in creating initial awareness that is important in building a safe and bullying-free school environment. However, to achieve long-term change, ongoing efforts are needed that involve the entire school community. Keyword: Stop Bullying, Socialization, and Children's Character Education

Abstract

Abstract The Community Service Program (KKN) in Lembengan Village, Jember Regency, focuses on cultivating catfish as a strategic step to increase food security and reduce stunting rates in the community. The choice of this topic was based on the high prevalence of stunting and nutritional problems in the village. The methods used include collaboration between KKN students, village officials, the Village Children's Forum (FAD), and the Jember District Fisheries Service. Core activities include distributing catfish seeds, raising awareness about cultivation, and education about the benefits of consuming catfish for pregnant women and children. The results of the activity showed a positive response from the community and village officials, with indications of increased awareness of the importance of nutrition and the economic potential of catfish cultivation. This program also produces a Follow-up Plan (RTL) which will be continued by the Village Children's Forum to ensure the sustainability of catfish cultivation in Lembengan Village. In conclusion, this initiative has great potential to improve community welfare and provide a positive long-term impact.
