Abstract

Sexually transmitted diseases are increasingly prevalent in tandem with evolving times and more liberal social interactions. This study aims to: understand the differences in knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) between students living in orphanages and those not living in orphanages, identify the high rate of sexually transmitted disease transmission and assist teachers in providing education, and propose guidance topics related to understanding sexually transmitted diseases. This is a quantitative descriptive comparative study with a sample of all students at Xaverius Baturaja High School, totaling 101 students, consisting of 40 students living in orphanages and 61 students not living in orphanages. The analysis techniques include categorization, normality test, homogeneity test, and Mann Whitney U-test. The results showed a low level of understanding with no significant difference between the two groups of students, although students in orphanages had a higher level of understanding. Then provide suggestions to teachers in providing education.

Abstract

Self-acceptance plays an important role for individuals who experience psychological disorders including anhedonia. This is because if individuals have high self-acceptance, it will have an impact on themselves in accepting the conditions experienced. The problem in this study is how self-acceptance in students with anhedonia and what factors support self-acceptance in students with anhedonia. This study aims to (1) determine self-acceptance in students with anhedonia. (2) find out the factors that support self-acceptance in college students with anhedonia. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research was conducted in a place that had been agreed upon with the subject. The source of research data is students with anhedonia, totaling 2 people. Data collection techniques are carried out in combination using interview and observation methods. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that both subjects have good self-acceptance. Both subjects go through different experiences at each stage of self-acceptance. Both subjects are currently at the friendship stage, this is evidenced by both having the ability to find meaning and happiness in their lives. Each subject has supporting factors for self-acceptance that are different from one another.

Abstract

Individuals need to develop coping strategies to overcome feelings, express emotions, and find strategies to deal with parental divorce situations. The purpose of this study was to determine the coping strategies used by female students in dealing with parental divorce that occurred in their lives and to determine the factors that influence female students in taking these coping strategies. The method in this study was qualitative and the research design was phenomenology. The subjects in this study were students aged 20–25 who experienced parental divorce, totaling four people. Data collection by conducting interviews. The data analysis techniques used were making interview transcripts, conducting data reduction, coding processes, and drawing conclusions from the data that had been collected. The results of the study showed that the coping strategies used by subjects who experienced parental divorce were problem-focused coping strategies, emotion-focused coping strategies, and acceptance. Then, in carrying out these coping strategies, individuals are influenced by factors, including physical condition factors, positive views, social support, and material.

Abstract

Pelecehan seksual merupakan salah satu perilaku yang darurat untuk dicegah karena berdampak besar bagi korban, salah satunya adalah dampak traumatis yang mendalam bagi korban. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media film pendek yang layak dan efektif untuk pencegahan pelecehan seksual bagi siswa. Metode dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) menggunakan model 4D yang berisi define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan uji kelayakan dua validator media dan dua validator materi dinyatakan "sangat layak". Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling, media film pendek juga dinyatakan "sangat layak". Hasil uji efektivitas yang dilakukan terhadap siswa MAN dianalisis menggunakan Uji-T terdapat peningkatan hasil antara pretest dengan postest sebesar 31.283. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media film pendek dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk pencegahan pelecehan seksual. Kata kunci: film pendek, pelecehan seksual, pengembangan, siswa, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri

Abstract

Remaja adalah periode transisi dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa dengan berbagai perubahan fisik, emosional, dan sosial. Masalah seperti perilaku kekerasan dan bullying sering muncul karena ketegangan yang dialami remaja. Salah satu solusi adalah melalui peer counselor yang dapat membantu remaja mengelola diri dan emosi dengan baik. Clay therapy adalah salah satu intervensi yang efektif untuk pengelolaan sosio-emosional. Terapi ini membantu remaja mengekspresikan emosi mereka, memperbaiki hubungan interpersonal, dan mengurangi ketegangan. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan model Participatory Action Research (PAR) menunjukkan bahwa 73.3% remaja sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini karena mereka dapat mengekspresikan emosi yang dipendam. Clay therapy membantu calon peer counselor untuk mengekspresikan diri secara positif, mengurangi emosi negatif, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Tanah liat memungkinkan remaja untuk memvisualisasikan pengalaman dan emosi secara simbolis, mengembangkan kesabaran, fokus, dan keterampilan sosio-emosional seperti kesadaran diri, manajemen diri, kesadaran sosial, keterampilan relasi, dan pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya mendukung perkembangan pribadi remaja tetapi juga meningkatkan kualitas dukungan yang dapat mereka berikan sebagai peer counselor. Setelah pelatihan, remaja merasa lega karena mereka bisa membagikan emosi yang selama ini dipendam, sehingga dapat berdamai dengan diri sendiri dan menjalin hubungan yang lebih sehat.

Abstract

Abstract: Domestic violence is one of the most common cases of violence against women. Domestic violence makes women helpless, physically injured, suffer psychologically, and can even cause death. The purpose of this research is to analyze the root causes of domestic violence and find solutions to prevent domestic violence. This research uses a literature study method. Researchers collect sources from books, journals, and other written literature. The analytical method uses descriptive analytical methods with the presentation of data qualitatively in the form of narrative text. There are several root causes of domestic violence problems, this can be seen from biological theory, frustration-aggression theory, and control theory. The form of prevention that can be done according to a feminist perspective is to promote gender equality and justice to create harmony and share a fair role in household dynamics. Feminists fight for women to get fair and empowered rights so that women don't get domestic violence. Family counselors have an important role in empowering victims and providing interventions to perpetrators. The interventions provided help to break the cycle of violence.

Abstract

Based on the results of the assessment of student needs through the distribution of problem checklists, data were obtained that students experienced problems in the field of career and work. The subjects in this study were students of class X Phase E SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. The focus of study in this research is to analyze the level of students' career planning ability through classical guidance services assisted by the website. The steps of counseling guidance action research carried out in three cycles include action planning (planning), action implementation, observation, and interpretation observation and reflection of the series of steps that have been implemented. The results of the study prove that there are values of students' career planning abilities in cycle I with the provision of material “the meaning and importance of career planning”, there are 35 students in the Medium category, and only 1 student in the High category. These results indicate that students' career planning skills are still low. Then, in cycle II using digital learning media in the form of a website with the provision of material “Tips and Tricks for Career Planning Information” on Study Programs in Higher Education through the “Website” Application Career planning with data results 30 students are in the High category and 6 students are in the Medium category. This indicates that the success indicator in cycle II using website media with the percentage value of the success indicator is high.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop the Short Movie “ASA” as a medium for guidance and counseling services to prevent sexual violence in high school. This research uses a Research and Development procedure by Borg and Gall. The result of this study is that the short movie is decent for preventing sexual violence in high school. Based on the material expert’s judgment, the short movie scored 94,4% in a decent category. Moreover, the media expert’s judgment scored 87,5 with a decent category. Field tests result on five school counselors also show 92,27%, which includes a decent category for using the short movie as a suitable medium. In conclusion, the short movie “ASA” is decent for media guidance and counseling services to prevent sexual violence in high school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the level of self-acceptance and body image of high school students and to identify the effect of self-acceptance on students' body image. This study used quantitative descriptive correlation research with subjects of class X students of SMA Stella Duce 1 Yogyakarta. The sample in this study was 173 students. The analysis techniques in this study included categorization, validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test and linear regression hypothesis test. Data collection used a body image and self-acceptance scale. On the body image scale there were 22 valid items and on the self-acceptance scale there were 25 valid items. The results of the reliability test on the body image and self-acceptance scales obtained an Alpha Cronbach reliability index of 0.891. Hypothesis testing in this study used ANOVA linear regression. Based from research, there is a significant relationship between self-acceptance and student’s body image because the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is 0.634 with a significance level of 0.001b. The level of significance is 0.001b < 0.05, which indicates that there is an influence between the body image variable and the self-acceptance variable in high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar menggunakan bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama pada peserta didik SMP. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar, kurang memiliki kesadaran untuk belajar, keterampilan belajar yang rendah, kurang memiliki daya tarik untuk belajar dan kurang mendapat dukungan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode bimbingan yang mampu mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengukur perubahan skor motivasi belajar antara pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik sosiodrama dalam bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Pada skor pretest pertama kali diberikan adalah 135.50, kemudian meningkat pada posttest siklus I menjadi 140.50. Setelah melakukan evaluasi pada siklus I, rata-rata skor posttest meningkat signifikan menjadi 148.00 pada postest siklus II. Peserta didik menjadi lebih berani menyampaikan pendapat, gigih menyelesaikan tugas, dan tangguh menghadapi hambatan.
