Abstract

Papua's cultural wealth will make a lot of positive contributions developing behavior and policy making. In addition, the wealth of Papua not always on natural resources. Papua is also rich in culture. This culture is worthy of being a capital to build the future, even strengthening peace and tolerance in Papua. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze local wisdom which is a form of existence of customary law that has developed in the Dani Tribe of Papua Province. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. The findings in this study are local wisdom and customary law that developed in Wosilimo Village, Uslimo District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua, including the Iki Paleg Tradition, Dani traditional clothing, the Dani kinship system and the Wam Mane Ceremony.There are many local wisdoms and customary laws that are spread all over Papua with the myths and culture that develop with them. The Dani tribe, which today still adheres to local wisdom and customary laws, should be appreciated because their ancestral heritage will be well preserved along with the development of the times and human resources that continue to develop in the Dani tribe, local wisdom and customary law are increasingly being criticized but still preserving this culture as part of the ancestral heritage of the Dani tribe.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the factors that influence the land value of the railway train around the campus area in Timoho Yogyakarta. In this research, the sample of land value is taken from the land value population located around the railway train at Timoho area that is surrounded by campus, limited by four districts there are Kota Baru district and Demangan in the north and Baciro district and Muja-muju district in the south. The control area uses a land value survey in the Janti district in the north and Gedong Kuning district in the south. The technique of collecting data is from observation in location. The finding of this research shows that the distance of the land to the railway and campus influenced land value and the size of the land influenced land value. Public transportation is not influenced land value. The land access by railway trains influenced land value. The shape of land is not influenced land value.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan strategis dalam perekonomian daerah, khususnya di daerah berbasis pariwisata seperti Pantai Pasir Putih, Manokwari, Papua Barat. Kearifan lokal berpotensi menjadi keunggulan kompetitif bagi UMKM dalam mengelola usaha yang berbasis pada budaya dan sumber daya alam setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemberdayaan UMKM berbasis kearifan lokal di Pantai Pasir Putih serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi dalam mengembangkan UMKM tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan UMKM di Pantai Pasir Putih dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan bahan baku lokal seperti sagu, ikan, dan kayu khas Papua, penerapan teknik produksi tradisional, dan strategi pemasaran berbasis budaya lokal seperti festival dan ekowisata. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi UMKM antara lain keterbatasan akses permodalan, minimnya keterampilan manajerial dan digital, serta keterbatasan akses pasar. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat setempat diperlukan untuk memperkuat kapasitas UMKM melalui pelatihan, bantuan modal, dan strategi pemasaran digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi layanan bagi penyandang disabilitas tunaganda di Yayasan Bhakti Luhur, Malang, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola yayasan, guru, pendamping, orang tua, serta penyandang disabilitas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan untuk disabilitas di yayasan ini sudah memadai, namun masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti kebutuhan khusus yang beragam, kesulitan dalam menyusun kurikulum yang sesuai, serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana. Selain itu, ada kekurangan tenaga pengajar berkompetensi khusus dan stigma masyarakat terhadap penyandang disabilitas. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah pengembangan model layanan terpadu, yang mencakup pemahaman individu, pendekatan yang disesuaikan, pengembangan keterampilan, identifikasi bakat, serta tindak lanjut yang relevan dan berkelanjutan untuk mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan bagi penyandang disabilitas tunaganda.

Abstract

This article is aimed to review conflict resolution process of Armed Criminal Group in Papua (KKB). This study is a scientific-article review using comparison technique, which compares horse trading method, counter-insurgency (COIN) model, and Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) to later review the best method in conflict resolution and renew or develop it. This study starts from revealing the background of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) happening in Papua, and then discussing conflict resolution process referring to the separatist movement development from KKB using horse trading method, which is proven effective to resolve this conflict if it is supported by the trust between two parties to have a dialogue where both parties are allowed to deliver their purposes openly. It is different from the application of McCormick’s COIN strategy model which narrowly fails in resolving Papua conflict, and even is possible to create a chance of the new dynamics’ existence in its international dimension, so it is needed to have a new interpretation towards COIN model in Papua, which is by giving solution to conflict-root elimination instead of total elimination by military. Meanwhile, applying Military Operations Other Than War approach (OMSP) is mandatory which is done by every country in order to tackle separatism movements. By those three models mentioned earlier, several strategic steps are formulated later in conflict resolution of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua.
