Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan program kreativitas siswa dalam membentuk karakter Islami siswa, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena terjadinya kemerosotan karakter peserta didik yang disebabkan oleh lemahnya pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam diri mereka. Perlu adanya upaya lembaga pendidikan untuk membentuk program pembiasaan yang nantinya berguna untuk menunjang dan memperbaiki kemerosotan karakter yang terjadi pada peserta didik. Maka dari itu SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan membentuk program student creativity sebagai wadah yang mengakomodir pembentukan karakter dalam diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dilihat ternyata program student creativity terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter Islami siswa, dapat dilihat dari banyaknya prestasi yang diraih di setiap perlombaan dan kejuaraan, terbentuknya nilai-nilai karakter siswa seperti kreatif, religius dan memiliki sikap yang baik kepada teman sebaya, dan juga memiliki tutur kata yang baik.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has provided new opportunities in learning, including in Islamic Education, which often faces challenges in attracting the interest of elementary school students. This research aims to explore the use of the CulapCulip YouTube channel as an innovative medium for PAI learning at SDIT Ummi Aida Medan. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include the school principal, PAI teachers, students, and parents. The research findings show that the utilisation of CulapCulip has a positive impact on students in three main aspects. First, from the motivation aspect, students are more enthusiastic, focused, and eager to participate in lessons due to the short, engaging, and age-appropriate video presentations. Secondly, from the aspect of understanding, students find it easier to comprehend abstract material, such as the stories of the prophets, and are able to retell the core lesson in their own words. Thirdly, from the aspect of religious attitudes, students show more positive behavioural changes, including diligently memorising prayers, emulating honesty, and behaving politely. For teachers, this media facilitates the delivery of material, creates a more interactive classroom atmosphere, and saves teaching time. In addition, the support from school principals and parents emphasises that CulapCulip is not only effective as a learning medium but also relevant in shaping the Islamic character of students. Thus, the use of CulapCulip YouTube can be an alternative strategy for innovative, enjoyable, and contextual PAI learning in facing the challenges of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect of student development to foster responsible and independent generations. The synergy between teachers and parents plays a key role in optimizing the formation of students’ responsible learning character in the madrasah environment. This study aims to examine the synergy between teachers and parents in shaping students' responsible learning character at MAN 1 Medan and to identify the challenges faced in this collaboration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the synergy between teachers and parents is quite well established in a collaborative pattern, where teachers act as academic mentors and character builders at school, while parents provide moral support and supervision of learning at home. This synergy is reflected in active communication through parent-teacher meetings, social media groups, and parental involvement in various school activities. However, this collaboration faces several challenges, such as limited time available for parents, a low understanding of the importance of home education, and differences in socioeconomic backgrounds. These findings emphasize the importance of building strategic partnerships between schools and families in shaping students' responsible learning character sustainably in the madrasah environment.

Abstract

Guru yang profesional adalah guru yang mampu untuk  mengembangkan kreativitasnya sehingga menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran itu sendiri. Oleh karenanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kreativitas guru di MIS Al-Anwar Tembung dalam memanfaatkan teknologi berupa video pembelajaran  dari berbagai platform media sosial berupa animasi kartun. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan case study research (studi kasus) dan sesuai dengan fenomena langsung di MIS Al-Anwar Tembung. Berdasarkan penelitian dinyatakan bahwa siswa pada pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis diajarkan mengenai surah-surah Al-Qur’an dan Hadis Rasulullah Saw, serta maknanya untuk diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Guru di MIS Al-Anwar menggunakan beberapa jenis animasi kartun yang dikenal siswa dan menggunakan berbagai pendekatan/model pembelajaran, animasi kartun lebih banyak mempunyai kelebihan dibandingkan kekurangan jika digunakan dalam media pembelajaran. Guru di MIS Al-Anwar sudah sangat kreatif dengan menggunakan animasi kartun sebagai media pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis dengan begitu pemahaman siswa akan lebih meningkat karena telah menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan.

Abstract

Covid-19 affects the established order of worship. Muslims are required to wear masks, keep their distance, and eliminate greetings during congregations. At certain times, mosques are also required to close temporarily to prevent the spread of the virus. In fact, these rules are not obeyed by the Muslim community in the city of Pekalongan, in fact, some pilgrims oppose it. This study aims to analyze the relationship of health protocol practice with religious understanding and the role of mosques in helping victims affected by covid-19. The study uses qualitative methods in which the main data in the form of words and actions are taken using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data in the form of words was taken using interview techniques to 27 pilgrims. The data in the form of actions was taken using observation techniques by observing religious phenomena in 12 mosques. Both data are documented using recordings and images as a form of data validation. The results of this study showed a crisis of religious understanding experienced by mosque administrators and worshippers. The management is adamant not to close the mosque in the midst of the pandemic and is reluctant to allocate infaq to the social realm of victims affected by covid-19. The pilgrims are divided into three groups: trust, doubt, and distrust of the coronavirus. However, it does not affect the effectiveness of preventive measures instructed by the government. Most pilgrims apply health protocols. Some pilgrims also consider sharia rules to be above government rules, so religious activities must still be carried out
