Abstract

This qualitative study aims to explore the interconnectedness among good corporate governance (GCG), human capital, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) within organizations. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to gather and interpret data. A purposive sampling technique is employed to select participants from diverse corporate backgrounds. The analysis reveals intricate relationships between GCG practices, human capital development, and CSR initiatives, highlighting the significant influence of effective governance structures on fostering a culture of responsibility towards stakeholders. Findings underscore the importance of nurturing human capital in promoting ethical business practices and sustainable CSR activities. This study contributes to the understanding of how GCG principles and investment in human capital intertwine to drive socially responsible behavior within corporations.

Abstract

The integration of digital technologies into Human Resource Management (HRM) practices has become imperative in the contemporary organizational landscape. This paper explores the challenges and opportunities arising from the digital transformation in HRM. It synthesizes existing literature and empirical studies to elucidate the multifaceted nature of this transformation. Challenges include resistance to change, privacy concerns, and skill gaps among HR professionals. Conversely, digitalization offers opportunities for enhancing recruitment processes, employee engagement, and performance management. Additionally, it enables the adoption of data-driven decision-making and facilitates remote work arrangements. The paper underscores the need for organizations to navigate these challenges effectively while leveraging digital technologies to optimize HRM processes. By embracing digital transformation strategically, organizations can harness its potential to foster agility, innovation, and competitive advantage in the dynamic contemporary business environment

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the intricate relationships among Return on Assets (ROA), Financial Distress, Return to Equity Ratio, and Firm Value within a specific context. Employing a case study approach, the research endeavors to discern the nuanced interplay between these financial metrics. The sampling technique involves purposive sampling to select firms representative of the studied population. Data analysis utilizes qualitative techniques, including thematic analysis and pattern recognition. The findings revealing how ROA, Financial Distress, and Return to Equity Ratio influence Firm Value within the examined context. These insights provide valuable implications for financial management strategies and decision-making processes, particularly in navigating complex financial landscapes.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of reward & punishment strategies, internal public relations, and digital marketing on company profitability. Employing a qualitative research design, the study utilizes purposive sampling to select participants from various industries, aiming for diverse perspectives. Data analysis involves thematic coding to identify patterns and themes emerging from interviews and textual analysis of relevant documents. Preliminary findings suggest that effective implementation of reward & punishment strategies, coupled with robust internal public relations and adept digital marketing, significantly impacts company profitability. The study underscores the importance of cohesive internal communication and strategic digital marketing efforts in enhancing organizational performance and financial outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the interplay between financial distress, tax justice, sustainable and ethical leadership, and their impact on tax compliance. The study employs a theoretical framework integrating principles of financial management, justice theory, and leadership ethics. A purposive sampling technique will be utilized to select participants from diverse organizational backgrounds, including corporations and non-profit entities. Data will be collected through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis will be employed to analyze the qualitative data. Preliminary findings suggest that financial distress exacerbates tax compliance challenges, while ethical leadership and a fair tax system positively influence compliance behavior. The study contributes to understanding the complex dynamics shaping tax compliance and provides insights for policymakers and organizational leaders to enhance compliance practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of internal and external sharia audits in ensuring sharia compliance in Islamic financial institutions through a literature review. Based on the analysis of various previous studies, it was found that sharia audits, both internal and external, play a crucial role in maintaining adherence to sharia principles and improving transparency and accountability in Islamic financial institutions. Internal audits focus on operational and procedural oversight, while external audits provide an independent assessment of overall sharia compliance. However, the main challenges faced include the lack of consistent audit standards, limited training for sharia auditors, and legal uncertainties in Islamic finance practices. This study recommends the development of clearer standards and enhanced training for sharia auditors to improve the effectiveness of sharia audit implementation in Islamic financial institutions

Abstract

This study aims to review the challenges faced in the risk-return relationship within multifactor portfolios, with a focus on the implications for market volatility management. Through a literature review, this research identifies various factors that influence volatility and how volatility management can enhance portfolio performance. The analysis reveals that while multifactor portfolios offer advantages in diversification and risk management, market volatility remains a key challenge in achieving a balance between risk and return. This study also uncovers that active volatility strategies outperform passive ones, but they require a deep understanding of market dynamics. The implications of this research provide insights for portfolio managers in designing investment strategies that are more adaptive to high market volatility.

Digital transformation significantly affects investment decision-making, capital allocation, and operational efficiency. The integration of findings from previous research reveals that digital technologies encourage companies to shift focus toward intangible assets such as information systems and data analytics. However, challenges like resource limitations and readiness for adoption persist. Furthermore, government policies and digital skill development are critical in facilitating this transition. The findings provide valuable insights for companies and policymakers to leverage digital technologies for enhancing efficiency and competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the intricate relationships among entrepreneurship education, small and medium enterprise (SME) development, leadership, and corporate governance to combat unemployment and poverty. Employing a mixed-method approach, the study will utilize purposive sampling to select participants from diverse sectors. Data analysis will involve thematic coding and content analysis to uncover emergent patterns and themes. The research endeavors to unveil how effective entrepreneurship education, coupled with sound leadership and good corporate governance practices, can foster SME growth, thereby mitigating unemployment and poverty. Preliminary findings suggest that a holistic approach integrating these elements is imperative for sustainable socio-economic development.
