Abstract

This research aimed to conduct sentiment analysis on user reviews of Indihome, one of Indonesia's leading internet service providers, using data collected from Twitter. With a growing user base of 7 million, Indihome achieved an impressive revenue growth rate of 48% by the end of 2019. To assess user satisfaction, sentiment analysis was performed on tweets containing the keyword "indihome" between July 1 and July 11, 2022. A total of 10,000 tweets and retweets were collected and subjected to data preprocessing, manual labeling, and training using the Naive Bayes Classifier method. The training phase involved 1,000 tweets, equally divided between positive and negative sentiments, manually labeled for accuracy. For evaluation, 200 labeled tweets were used as testing data. The sentiment analysis results were remarkable, with 98% accuracy achieved for the training data and 91% for the testing data. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes Classifier in accurately determining sentiment from Indonesian-language tweets about Indihome's services. By analyzing user opinions expressed on Twitter, this study provides valuable insights into the level of user satisfaction with Indihome as an internet service provider. Leveraging sentiment analysis applications on Twitter social media enables companies like Indihome to gain a deeper understanding of customer sentiment and make informed decisions to improve their services. The research showcases the importance and effectiveness of sentiment analysis in evaluating user feedback and enhancing customer satisfaction in the internet service industry.

Abstract

Telkomsel, the largest operator in Indonesia with the most users, collects a significant amount of tweet data on Twitter, containing both positive and negative feedback about their internet service. Analyzing this data can provide valuable insights and accurate information about Telkomsel's internet services based on user tweets, retweets, and comments. The aim is to build a sentiment analysis model to extract relevant information from Telkomsel users' tweets on Twitter, serving as feedback for service evaluation and an educational tool for users. The sentiment analysis process involves data retrieval, preprocessing, training, testing, classification, and visualization using Python programming with the Flask framework. Analysis of customer satisfaction sentiment reveals that Telkomsel has a negative sentiment, with an accuracy of 81.7% for training data and 84% for testing data. The sentiment analysis model was built using the Naive Bayes Classification method.

Abstract

Elderly is a natural process that undergoes organ changes that ultimately affect the state of the function and ability of the body as a whole. Degenerative diseases that occur in the elderly accompany the aging process in a person. This study aims to diagnose degenerative diseases in the elderly with an expert system.The Expert System which was built to diagnose degenerative in the elderly using the CF method aims to trace the symptoms displayed in the form of questions in order to diagnose diseases with web-based software.Expert system software can recognize degenerative diseases in the elderly experienced by users after answering some of the questions displayed by the application.The expert system designed can diagnose degenerative causes in the elderly because in this expert system knowledge is given in the form of symptoms that are used as input to the user.

Abstract

The distribution or flow of water in irrigation networks that are not good can have an impact on air demand on agricultural land. This is due to the air volume that is not optimal due to damage to the irrigation network. Each irrigation network has a level of disturbance which is measured by the level of damage to the irrigation network based on the channel and building arrangement. Efforts to anticipate the level of damage to the wider irrigation network that can harm farmers, it is necessary to have a system that makes it easier for air interpreters to provide reports. Based on the report, the water interpreter will be followed up and processed by the team regarding more handling. In the ease of reporting, water interpreters need a location-based reporting system. Therefore, the right approach in reporting damage to irrigation networks is using a geographic information system. With the development of internet communication, geographic information systems have been developed that can be implemented on smartphones with the Android operating system.

Abstract

Di era internet, berita hoaks menjadi masalah besar untuk menjaga kualitas informasi masyarakat. Literasi digital sangat penting untuk membantu orang mengenali dan menghindari berita palsu. Di SMK YPKK 1 Sleman, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui sosialisasi penggunaan Dashboard Fact Checker Directory untuk meningkatkan literasi digital. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar siswa memahami cara membedakan Informasi hoaks dan bagaimana memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membantu literasi digital. Hal Tersebut digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, teknik interaktif seperti presentasi, simulasi penggunaan dashboard, dan diskusi aktif digunakan. Fakultas Teknik dan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta bekerja sama dengan mahasiswa dan dosen untuk membuat materi mudah dipahami siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang karakteristik berita hoaks dan kemampuan mereka untuk menggunakan dashboard untuk memeriksa kebenaran informasi. Hasil evaluasi setelah kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta dalam mengidentifikasi berita hoaks dengan benar dan menunjukkan minat untuk menggunakan dashboard dalam aktivitas sehari-hari mereka. Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi ini membantu generasi muda menjadi lebih cerdas dalam menggunakan teknologi dan mengajarkan mereka cara memilah data secara kritis. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal menuju masyarakat yang lebih cerdas dan bijak dalam menggunakan teknologi saat ini.

Abstract

Tantangan bagi para pendidik atau guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) untuk dapat memberikan materi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Dikarenakan siswa SMP saat ini masuk kedalam golongan Generasi Z yang merupakan generasi dengan tingkat ketertarikan tinggi pada teknologi dan pembelajaran secara visual. Demi mendukung keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan komputer dan menarik minat belajar dalam pembelajaran secara visual maka perlu dilakukan program peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan Scratch. Melalui implementasi program peningkatan keterampilan menggunakan Scratch tersebut memberikan dampak yang cukup positif. Kenaikan tersebut dibuktikan pada hasil pre-test dan post-test yang sudah dilakukan pada 59 peserta didik dan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan mencapai 50%. Secara keseluruhan program peningkatan keterampilan berjalan dengan lancar akan tetapi perlu adanya praktik pembuatan animasi atau pembelajaran animasi secara berkala, agar siswa menjadi lebih terbiasa menggunakan Scratch.
