Abstract

Education is a learning process carried out to restore individual potential in order for them to in order for them to achieve their desired life goals within the context of Islamic education has a broader dimension, namely in addition to achieving life goals in the world, education also aims to attain happiness in their lives. The philosophy of Islamic education has an important role in developing spiritual-based individual and community potential. In a spiritual-based society, Islamic education plays a crucial role in molding the moral fabric of a community. with noble character and piety to Allah. Through Islamic education, people can understand basic values and principles in Islam and apply them in everyday life. Islamic educational philosophy also talks about the purpose of human life which includes spiritual, moral and intellectual aspects. Apart from that, philosophy also assists in formulating effective educational approaches and methods in obtaining a deeper and deeper understanding of Islamic teachings. honesty, fairness, and empathy.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity was motivated by the low competence of teachers in designing ICT-based learning media, especially the use of the Canva application at MI Islahul Ummah Pranti Sedati Sidoarjo. This problem is caused by the generation gap and the limited digital literacy of senior teachers. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers' skills in utilizing technology through training in creating ICT-based learning media using Canva. The activity was carried out using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method which includes needs analysis, intensive training, practical assistance, and evaluation. The contribution of this activity lies in empowering teachers to be able to produce digital teaching media independently and foster a culture of digital literacy in the school environment. The evaluation results showed that 100% of participants succeeded in creating at least one digital teaching media, 70% of teachers were able to create two or more different designs, and 85% of participants reported increased confidence in using learning technology. These findings indicate that Canva-based training is effective in improving teacher competence in integrating technology into the teaching and learning process. Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga merupakan faktor penting dalam proses pendidikan yang mempengaruhi perkembangan dan hasil belajar siswa. Lingkungan yang mendukung dan memperhatikan kebutuhan pendidikan anak dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi akademis mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan literature review dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui pencarian sistematis terpublikasi sepuluh tahun tahun terakhir dan fokus pada siswa sekolah dasar yang menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dan hasil belajar siswa, yang mengindikasikan bahwa lingkungan yang kondusif berkontribusi pada peningkatan pencapaian akademis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya peran keluarga untuk mendukung pendidikan anak, serta memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dan orang tua untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang optimal di rumah.

Abstract

In today's digital era, teachers are expected to be more competent in delivering learning materials to create an interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Therefore, the use of learning media is crucial, not merely as a supplement, but as an effective tool to help students understand the material more easily. Media plays a significant role in the learning process. However, the teacher's role is also crucial in ensuring that the media used is not boring and can motivate students to learn. This research focuses on the development of learning media in the form of digital comics presented in video format, specifically covering the rules and benefits. Furthermore, this study aims to determine students' responses to the created digital comics. The research used research and development (RD) methods. The media development process followed the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) method. This study involved one teacher and 21 students who actively participated in the learning process. In addition, one material expert and one media expert participated in this study. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The results showed that the video-based digital comic media was rated "Very Appropriate" by the media expert with a score of 94%. The assessment from the material experts was also nearly identical, at 93%, which falls into the "Very Appropriate" category. Students and teachers gave high practicality ratings, at 88% and 89%, respectively. After using digital comics, students' post-test scores increased to 86%, remaining in the "Very Appropriate" category. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of ICT-based digital comics on student learning outcomes in Civics (PPKn) in second-grade students at MINU Kedungrejo. Researchers compared two groups, one using digital comics and the other using traditional methods. The results showed that students learning with digital comics experienced improved learning outcomes. This medium is not only engaging but also facilitates understanding and increases student enthusiasm for learning. ICT-based digital comics can be an effective solution for Civics (PPKn) learning in elementary schools.
