Abstract

This research aims to find out how cognitive theory and constructivism are applied in learning for students. The method used in this research is the method of distributing questionnaires and data collection techniques through literature studies from various sources and websites on the internet through journals, documents, books, etc. that are relevant to the topic, namely related to the implementation of cognitive theory. and constructivism theory in learning. Cognitive theory emphasizes the active role of students in processing information and their own understanding, while the constructivist approach emphasizes learning that occurs through social interactions and students' personal experiences. The results of this research can provide important insights for educators, policy makers and researchers who are interested in optimizing the implementation of cognitive theory and constructivism to improve student learning outcomes in the context of modern education.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling is an effort carried out by an individual who acts as a guide to help individuals achieve optimal potential through various types of services. Guidance and counseling services are provided to individuals with the aim that they can achieve maximum levels of development and happiness in the process of understanding, accepting and adapting to their environment, in accordance with the Guidance and Counseling (BK) function. Along with the aim of guidance and counseling, namely helping individuals plan study achievements, career development and future life, this service is defined by Nurikhsan (2006:15) and is supported by the view that guidance and counseling is a profession that has a responsibility to help students. achieve academic success, career, and personal-social development (Gybers & Handerson, 2000). Therefore, in its services, guidance and counseling is divided into four types of services, namely 1) Academic guidance (learning), 2) Personal-social guidance, 3) Career guidance, and 4) Family guidance. The aim of this research is to assess the significance of guidance and counseling services for students at school in order to optimize their potential. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and literature study.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk dapat mengungkap masalah, sehingga dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan baru. Untuk mengungkap permasalah secara ilmiah dengan cara yang benar dan memiliki bukti yang dapat memperkuat hasil dari penelitian tentunya dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian kualitatif salah satu penelitian yang berfokus pada penelitian terkait sosial, fenomena dan penelitian yang menitik beratkan pada penjelasan secara deskriptif atau memberikan gambaran. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode literatur review seperti mengkaji buku, dan jurnal. Peneliti juga menggunakan hasil analisis deksriptif dalam membahas hasil temuan. Terdapat lima metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian kualitatif yang biasa digunakan adalah yaitu wawancara/interview, observasi, dokuemntasi atau analisis dokumen, fokus group discossion atau diskusi kelompok, serta longitudinal research dan scross sectional. Untuk mevalidasi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan dalam hasil penelitian kualitatif dapat digunakan metode triangulasi atau metode pengumpulan data yang menggunakan lebih dari satu metode
