Abstract

Based on the results of the identification of the needs of tourists looking for lodging in the city of Waingapu, there is a lack of spatial information (latitude and longitude), non-spatial (owner's name, price, facilities, address, contact) with the nearest route. Although available on google maps, it is still lacking because it is still incorporated with hotels, boarding houses and other housing. Therefore, a Web-based Geographic Information System for Mapping the Distribution of Homestay Locations in the Waingapu City Area of East Sumba is made to provide recommendations to tourists who need lodging in accessing Homestayinformation by determining the user's location point and the nearest Homestay will appear. Maps will direct to the location of the selected lodging house accompanied by the desired information. This system was built using the PHP programming language with the MySQL Database. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model for system development and Euclidean Distance for the calculation of the closest distance.

Abstract

An uninhabitable house is a house that does not meet the requirements of building safety and minimum adequacy in terms of space and area. In addition, it also pays attention to the quality of construction materials such as walls, roofs, floors to meet the educational aspects for anyone who occupies them. The process of uninhabitable houses is carried out by the Kayuri village government by the village head and in collaboration with the head of the RT / RW / hamlet to collect data on prospective recipients of uninhabitable houses based on the condition of the house such as leaky roofs, coconut leaf walls, dirt floors and too many family members. The problem that often occurs in the process of collecting data on prospective beneficiaries is still in the form of manual methods so that it takes a long time when collecting files and the recipient selection process still conducts meetings between village officials to determine who is and does not deserve to receive uninhabitable housing assistance (RLTH). Abstract

Poverty issues in East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, which is faced with a high poverty rate. The obstacle of mapping areas with poor people that are difficult to identify is the main focus. Through qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research applied the Extreme Programming (XP) method to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS), aimed at mapping poverty areas. XP was applied to ensure flexibility, adaptability, and active stakeholder participation in the application development. The main objectives were to produce an effective GIS application, provide accurate information for the government and stakeholders, and improve the effectiveness of poverty reduction programs. This research is expected to contribute to the design of programs that are more targeted, effective, and can improve community welfare in East Sumba Regency.

Abstract

Gereja Kristen Sumba Jemaat Patawang (GKS Jemaat Patawang) saat ini, memberikan informasi oleh gereja masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku besar, yang rentan mengalami kehilangan atau kerusakan data dan memperlambat proses pengambilan informasi. Serta juga dalam proses penyampaian informasi masih kurang efektif karena bisa saja ada jemaat yang tidak dapat mengikuti ibadah, terlambat atau juga ada jemaat yang kurang berkonsentrasi dalam mendengarkan warta jemaat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, perancangan website menjadi solusi yang dapat yang dapat membantu GKS Jemaat Patawang. Website yang dirancang akan menampilkan jadwal warta jemaat, dan pelayanan pemberkatan nikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) serta menerapkan metode waterfall, penelitian ini merancang sistem yang mempermudah akses terhadap jadwal kegiatan pelayanan mingguan dan informasi kegiatan peribadatan lainnya. Sistem ini tidak hanya mengatasi masalah keterlambatan dan kehilangan informasi dalam pencatatan manual, tetapi juga memberikan kemampuan kepada jemaat untuk mendaftar pelayanan pemberkatan nikah secara online, meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan penjadwalan peribadatan. Dengan demikian, pengurus gereja dapat lebih mudah mengelola jadwal peribadatan, pelayanan ibadah, dan tempat pelaksanaan peribadatan. Abstrak ini mencakup permasalahan manajemen informasi saat ini, solusi yang diajukan, tujuan penelitian, dan antisipasi hasil positif dalam mendukung kebutuhan informasi jemaat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi modern.
