Abstract

This community service aims to provide practical guidelines for teachers in introducing and implementing the Intruduction-Based Learning Model (PBI) to shape students' characters who are concerned about cleanliness. Through a series of steps, this program presents a structured approach to introduce the PBI concept, identify cleanliness issues, design relevant learning activities, and integrate cleanliness principles into the curriculum. Additionally, the program highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and communities in raising awareness of environmental cleanliness. Through advanced training for teachers and long-term impact measurement, it is expected that this program can create sustainable changes in student behavior and environmental conditions in schools and communities. Thus, this community service makes a significant contribution to strengthening character education and cleanliness culture among students and communities

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian i ni menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen (pre-experimental design). Analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Populasi penelitian di kelas III SD Negeri 122365 Pematangsiantar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu diambil disatu kelas yang digunakan sebagai kelas One Group sehingga yang menjadi sampel di penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas III SD Negeri 122365 Pematangsiantar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh yaitu terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yaitu dengan rata-rata posttest berjumlah 77,28 sedangkan pretest berjumlah 36,12. Pengaruh model Problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan faktor hake dengan uji N-Gain diperoleh niai sebesar 0,68 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the index card match type cooperative model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 122345 Pematangsiantar. This research is a pre-experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design, the sample of this research is 23 people. The data collection technique is a test. By carrying out the pretest, they got an average result of 55.87, then they were given treatment after being given treatment using the cooperative index card match type model, so they got a posttest score with an average value of 85.22. With the scores obtained, the posttest scores have a higher average than the pretest. After carrying out the posttest, the researcher carried out a normality test. From the data test, the results were that the data was normally distributed. Based on the results of data analysis using hypothesis testing. The results of the t test obtained t = 16,960 with a significance level of 0.000. because the significant probability is much smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 and tcount = 16,960 > ttable = 1,717, then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that it means that there is an influence of the index card match type cooperative learning model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at UPTD Elementary School, State Elementary School 122345 Pematangsiantar for the 2024/2025 academic year.
