Abstract

This study aims to produce an effective Creative-Scientific Decision Making Skills (CSDMS) learning model that can be used in training students' creative thinking skills and decision-making skills. This study uses the One Group Pretest – Posttest design. Data were analyzed descriptively with pre-test and post-test data analysis using paired t-test in limited trials, and independent t-test in broad trials. It was concluded that the CSDMS model was declared valid both in terms of content validity and construct validity in order to improve students' creative thinking skills and decision-making skills. The results showed that the CSDMS model met the effective criteria in terms of the average n-gain of creative thinking skills in the high category and decision-making skills in the medium category, consistent with the average n-gain not significantly different in each university. It was concluded that the CSDMS model was found to be effective in improving students' creative thinking skills and decision-making skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan model pembelajaran inkuiri  terbimbing dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara random sampling sebanyak dua kelas, dimana kelas pertama sebagai kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kedua sebagai kelas kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam bentuk uraian sebanyak 4 soal yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dalam hal ini keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, konvensional, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka menekankan pembelajaran kolaboratif siswa untuk menyelesaikan masalah nyata di kehidupan sehari-hari karena kolaboratif merupakan salah satu keterampilan era industri yang harus terus diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dalam memahami materi transistor sebagai penguat antara kelas yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis masalah berbantuan media livewire dan kelas yang dibelajarkan hanya menggunakan model kolaboratif berbasis masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni quasi experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pada kelas eksperimen digunakan treatment model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis masalah berbantuan media livewire, sedangkan kelas kontrol digunakan treatment pembelajaran dengan model kolaboratif berbasis masalah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa digunakan uji independent sample t, dengan hasil terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dalam memahami materi transistor sebagai penguat antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Discovery Learning is an innovation in learning because students' creative thinking abilities are truly optimized through a systematic group work or film process, so that students can empower, hone, test and develop their thinking abilities on an ongoing basis. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the creative thinking abilities of Class IV students at SDN 122332 Pematang Siantar. The analysis shows that in general the educational learning model can influence student learning outcomes in class IV at UPTD SDN 122332 Pematang Siantar. With a sample size of 23 students, it can be seen that the percentage of pretest results was 17% and the percentage of posttest results was 65%. From the percentage results, it can be seen that student learning outcomes after being given treatment using the Discovery Learning model are classified as increasing.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the make a match learning model on students' learning motivation in grade IV science subjects at UPTD SD Negeri 122390 Pematang Siantar T.A. 2023/2024. In this research, researchers used quantitative research with experimental methods, with the aim of testing the hypotheses that have been established. The population and sample used in this research were all students in class IV-A UPTD SD Negeri 122390 Pematang Siantar, consisting of 21 students. The research data collection technique used by researchers is a questionnaire containing 25 questions. The data analysis used is a simple linear regression test analysis formula by paying attention to the coefficient of determination value. Based on this analysis, it was concluded that the make a match learning model affected students' learning motivation in grade IV science subjects at UPTD SD Negeri 122390 Pematang Siantar T.A. 2023/2024 there will be a positive influence, because the significant value for the influence of the make a match learning model variable (X) in a stimulant manner on the student learning motivation variable (Y) is 0,000<0,05 and the calculated t-value is 5.226 > t-table 2.093 with a calculated F value equal to 27,315, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis test Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because it is based on the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.590 or the same as 59 %. which means that there is an influence of variable X on Y that is equal to 59%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model on the critical thinking abilities of fifth grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 122337 Pematang Siantar FY 2023/2024. The method in this research is a quantitative experimental method whose research design is Pre-experimental type one group. pretest-posttest. Conducted in October 2023, the population of all students at UPTD SD Negeri 122337 Pematang Siantar and a sample of 22 students consisting of 11 female students and 11 male students were used, namely purposing sampling with two research variables: the dependent variable (x) in the form of increase critical thinking skills, as well as the independent variable (y) in the form of a make a match model , a learning concept where students learn while playing using students matching pairs of cards on a fun topic. Data collection techniques are test techniques with validity tests, reliability tests, gain normality tests (n-gain). The test results using the Ngain technique with the help of the SPSS version 21 program, based on the calculation results obtained a mean of 0.71, with an effectiveness of 0.71 ≥ 0.7 which is included in the high category. All independent variables have a significant influence on the dependent variable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the make a match mode on the critical thinking abilities of class V students at UPTD SD Negeri 122337 Pematang Siantar FY 2023/2024.

Abstract

Based on research data, there is still low student learning motivation in class v state elementary school 098166 Simalungun Regency. This is caused by the lack of variety in the methods and media used by teachers so that students feel bored/watching and do not have the enthusiasm to participate in learning in the class. The main objective of this research is: "To determine the relationship between reward and punishment on student learning motivation in class V State Elementary School (SD) 098166 Simalungun Regency FY 2023". The influence of the variable (x) simultaneously on y is 0.000 < 0.05 and the t value is 34.510 > t table 4.351, so it can be concluded that the Reward and Punishment Relationship is successful in increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

Dalam memenuhi pelaksanaan tridarma perguruan tinggi khususnya dibidang pengabdian masyarakat, maka tim dosen dari Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar mengadakan pelatihan kemampuan komunikasi berbahasa bagi seluruh siswa SD Negeri 125138 Pematang Siantar. Kemampuan berbahasa dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini mengacu pada tata bahasa Indonesia, bahasa inggris, bahasa mandarin dan bahasa daerah. Kegiatan pelatihan kemampuan berbahasa ini meliputi pre-test, pembahasan materi, permainan, dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah siswa dapat memahami berbagai ragam bahasa dengan suasana belajar yang baru dan metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Selain itu, siswa dapat mengaplikasikan bentuk kalimat tersebut dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media flash card terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one grup design pretest-postest. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media flash card sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 091488 Bahsampuran tahun ajaran 2023/2024, dengan sampel siswa kelas V sebanyak 30 orang . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif metode eksperimen, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan media flashcard berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari perolehan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 56,70 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 75,00 sebesar. Hasil pengujian pada Uji N-Gain dengan nilai 0,44 atau dikategorikan sedang (cukup efektif). Maka dari hasil uji tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media flash card terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SD Negeri 091488 Bahsampuran.
