The objectives of this research are to: 1) determine the plan for maximising Gayo Takengon Campgrounds' tourist potential; and 2) provide management of the campgrounds' attractions with guidance. This study discusses the potential and how to create it using a sort of qualitative research and descriptive data analysis. The study's findings indicate that there is potential for development into a natural tourist attraction. These possibilities are: 1) As the Gayo Camping Ground develops as a tourism object, the promotion strategy is currently quite effective. For instance, the tourism office has promoted by providing promotional flyers and videos, which were then uploaded to social media, which is directly managed by the Gayo Camping Ground manager himself. The availability of this material on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube makes it simpler for travellers to find out more about this tourist destination. 2) Based on the findings of this research, there aren't many improvements that need to be made to the Gayo Campground tourist attraction as all of its amenities already match the requirements for a tour.

Aspects of environmental sanitation and hygiene at the Soda Water Bath tourism object still do not meet operational standards in terms of the environment of the tourist attraction, food and drink and there is a lack of knowledge about environmental hygiene and sanitation at the tourist attraction. This research aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of sanitation facilities in public baths in the Tarutung Soda Water Baths tourist attraction area. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the management of sanitation facilities at the Tarutung soda water baths is still very poor and needs improvement to ensure environmental cleanliness. The environmental sanitation management techniques implemented by the management start from inadequate planning and maintenance, lack of provision of rubbish bins in the tourist area, lack of cleanliness in the bathroom area resulting in an unpleasant odor in the area near the bath, lack of a special room for changing clothes. for tourists, as well as food sanitation that still does not meet standard food sanitation requirements. The author hopes that the management of the Soda Water Baths tourist attraction can improve the condition of the tourist attraction's sanitation facilities, so that paying attention to cleanliness will create comfort for visitors, because the better the sanitation facilities at a tourist attraction, the higher the level of comfort for tourists.

The implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) as an effort to control the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various sectors, including tourism. This study aims to analyze the effect of PPKM on tourists' interest in visiting the Salib Kasih Tarutung tourist destination. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who have visited Salib Kasih Tarutung before and during the PPKM period. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a decrease in tourists' interest in visiting Salib Kasih Tarutung during the PPKM period. Factors such as mobility restrictions, concerns about virus transmission, and decreased income were the main causes of the decline in interest. However, some tourists still showed interest in visiting by paying attention to strict health protocols. This research provides important implications for tourist destination managers and related stakeholders to develop adaptive strategies in dealing with pandemic situations. It is important to increase tourism promotion that focuses on the safety and comfort of tourists, as well as provide facilities and services that comply with health protocols. In addition, collaboration between the government, tourist destination managers, and the local community is also needed to restore the tourism sector after PPKM.

This study aims to analyze the impact of cleanliness on the spread of flies in the cafeteria of Campus 1 IAKN Tarutung. Cleanliness is a crucial factor in managing the cafeteria, as unhygienic conditions can lead to an increase in fly populations, which have the potential to transmit various diseases through food contamination. This research employs a qualitative method with direct observation of the cafeteria's cleanliness and interviews with cafeteria managers and visitors. The results indicate that inadequate cleanliness, such as poorly managed waste and the accumulation of food scraps, is a primary factor attracting flies to the cafeteria area. Additionally, the lack of awareness among cafeteria managers regarding the importance of maintaining cleanliness exacerbates this issue. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the campus authorities improve cleanliness standards by providing cleanliness education to cafeteria managers and visitors, as well as implementing a more effective waste management system. By doing so, it is expected to reduce the fly population and enhance the safety and comfort of the food served in the cafeteria.

This study aims to analyze the cleanliness of bathroom water in the environment of Campus 1 IAKN (Institut Agama Kristen Negeri) Tarutung. Bathroom water is a vital component in maintaining health and hygiene, making it essential to ensure its quality meets health standards. The research involved collecting water samples from various bathrooms on the campus and conducting laboratory tests to evaluate cleanliness parameters such as total coliform, Escherichia coli, pH, and turbidity. The test results indicated that most of the bathroom water samples met cleanliness standards; however, some samples showed results beyond safe limits, particularly concerning coliform and turbidity. The analysis also identified factors contributing to contamination, including inadequate maintenance of the sanitation system and suboptimal waste disposal. These findings highlight the importance of improving the sanitation system and enhancing maintenance procedures to ensure better quality bathroom water. Recommendations include increasing maintenance frequency, using better filtration technology, and raising awareness about the importance of sanitation among users. This study is expected to contribute to efforts in improving cleanliness and health standards in the campus environment
