Abstract

This research aims to discover a comparison of school principal management in public schools and vocational schools in Banyuasin Regency. A case study was conducted in two schools, namely SMAN 2 Tungkal Jaya and SMKN 1 Tungkal Jaya. The approach used was a qualitative approach with interview data collection methods. Data was gathered through interviews with school administrators, teachers, and staff, as well as an analysis of documents related to school management. The research findings indicate that the management techniques of school principals differ between these two types of schools. Both institutions have different focuses in resource management and emphasis on educational goals and issues. Despite these differences, they both uphold the same policies in emphasizing educational excellence and student development. This study highlights how school principals manage schools that offer various forms of education in the same environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of branding management strategies at SD IT Rabbi Radhiyyah 01 Siderejo, Rejang Lebong Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The informants of this study were school principals, deputy heads of curriculum, public relations staff and teachers. To determine the informants in this study, researchers used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used analytical techniques, in-depth interviews, and events/observations. The method used to test the validity of the data is the triangulation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive model analysis. The stages in analyzing the data in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1). the branding strategy that has been carried out is to improve quality both in terms of academic and non-academic achievements, namely the mandatory tahfidz program which continues to be developed, besides that there is an emphasis on efforts to attract interest in terms of increasing participation in the non-academic field from all fields such as competitions; 2). The effectiveness of the branding strategy carried out at SD IT Rabbi Radhiyyah 01 Siderejo, Rejang Lebong Regency, was quite effective in increasing public trust, as can be seen from the increase in the student enrollment quota which continues to increase every year. Keywords: branding strategy, public trust, SDIT

Abstract

This study is based on the accreditation of madrasahs which are still C in the last two accreditation assessments. Strategic management is an approach that can provide an effective framework for achieving educational goals and improving madrasah accreditation. The researcher raised the planning, implementation, evaluation, and strategic management can improve accreditation at MTs Guppi Nurul Jadid. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through case studies. Data sources consist of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and data validity. The results of the study indicate that the strategic planning process for improving accreditation at MTs Guppi Nurul Jadid includes developing a vision and mission, identifying external opportunities and threats of an organization, and designing strategies to achieve goals to improve accreditation. The implementation of strategic management in improving the accreditation of MTs Guppi Nurul Jadid includes activities to determine madrasah policies, provide motivation by the head of the madrasah, allocate existing resources, and develop a culture that will support the implementation of the strategy. The strategic management evaluation process in improving accreditation includes monitoring activities for educators, education staff, and students and supervising institutional programs. Strategic management can improve madrasah accreditation at MTs Guppi Nurul Jadid through cooperation with all stakeholders and the community, periodic monitoring and evaluation, and human resource development.   Keywords: Management, Strategic, Accreditation Improvement, Madrasah
