Abstract

CV. Indoestri Supply is a company that sells Thaitea beverage equipment. Problems were found, namely: the promotion process using conventional promotion through the installation of banners, word of mouth promotion, and added to promotion through social media advertising. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a web-based promotional information system. The research method uses a prototype model and a UML model, using use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of this study are a prototype of a web-based promotional information system that can help CV. Indoestri Supply in overcoming the problems faced.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) governance plays a strategic role in supporting the achievement of organizational goals, especially in higher education institutions. Adiwangsa University Jambi, as a private university, is required to manage IT effectively, efficiently, and in line with the institution's vision. This study aims to analyze the level of IT governance capabilities at Adiwangsa Jambi University using the COBIT 2019 framework with a focus on the EDM (Evaluate, Direct, Monitor) domain. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method through data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that the level of IT governance capability in the EDM domain is at level 2 (Managed Process), indicating that the IT governance process is running but still needs improvement in several aspects, especially in monitoring and controlling IT performance. This study is expected to provide recommendations for Adiwangsa University Jambi in improving IT governance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based digital archiving system at SMP Negeri 27 Muaro Jambi using a system modeling approach based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The current problem is that document management and storage are still carried out manually, which can lead to various challenges such as difficulty in locating documents, delays in archive management, and the risk of loss or damage to important documents. The research method used is descriptive, with stages that include data collection through observation, interviews, and document review; system requirements analysis; system design using UML diagrams consisting of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams; and the system implementation and testing stages using the black-box testing method. The expected outcome of this research is a web-based digital archiving system capable of assisting the school in managing documents in a more structured, secure, and easily accessible manner. Additionally, the developed system is expected to improve efficiency in the processes of storing, searching for, and managing documents at SMP Negeri 27 Muaro Jambi. This research is also expected to support the implementation of digital transformation within educational institutions through the utilization of web-based information systems technology
