Allah SWT, ordered humans to be fair, both to themselves and to others, this is as stated in the QS. An-Nisa verse 135. Justice is a very important aspect of human life, especially in the life of the nation and state, to avoid division and also to obtain prosperity and security. Therefore, humans must be enforcers of fair justice. Because it is not uncommon or perhaps often justice enforcers who cannot act fairly for some reason. For enforcers of justice, it is very important and even obliged to have a high nature of justice. In responding to these problems, the writing will describe Quraish Shihab's interpretation of justice that must be done by someone for his own benefit or for others, in this paper the verse that will be discussed is QS. An-Nisa verse 135. The source of the interpretation is from the explanation of his interpretation in the video that discusses the verse. What is discussed in the interpretation of the verse is the command of Allah SWT., to be someone who is just and is able to be a fair witness. This research is using descriptive analytical method, namely describing the meaning of justice in the verse according to Quraish Shihab and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of his interpretation. From the problems mentioned above, the writer aims to reveal what is in his interpretation.

Abstract

Islamic radicalism in Indonesia has evolved from merely an ideology to a full-blown terrorist movement. In the context of the spread of Islamic radicalism in Indonesia, Banyumas Regency is categorized as a yellow zone, signifying it is under surveillance by Densus 88 and BNPT. Islamic radicalism is triggered by numerous factors, with one of the primary causes being a textualistic and non-comprehensive understanding of religious texts, including hadith. Particularly problematic are hadith with radical connotations. Islamic scholars play a crucial role in deradicalization discourse. Traditionally, Islamic scholars have been associated with the male gender; however, there are now many female scholars whose Islamic thought contributes significantly and is accessible to the public, including female scholars in Banyumas Regency. Through fieldwork involving observation, interviews, and document analysis, and subsequent data analysis using theories of textualist and contextualist understanding and Islamic moderation, it was found that female scholars in Banyumas Regency interpret hadith with radical connotations contextually and possess moderate Islamic thought and practices.

Abstract

Polygamy regulations are designed to protect the interests of Muslim families; however, ironically, in some Muslim countries, these regulations have been associated with triggering domestic violence. This study aims to examine the legal politics of polygamy in Southeast Asian Muslim countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam using a legal pluralism approach alongside Qur'anic perspective. The methodology employed is qualitative with a descriptive-interpretative approach. The findings indicate that these three countries regulate polygamy through two reforms: intra-doctrinal reforms that accommodate religious and cultural norms and extra-doctrinal reforms encompassing legal frameworks, judicial systems, and institutional structures. Three main factors influence these legal policies: religious understanding, local traditions, and political and social dynamics. As ūlū al-amri (authoritative leaders), the governments of these countries are committed to regulating polygamy to benefit families and children by integrating Islamic values, local traditions, and colonial legal influences. These regulations align with the Qur'anic message that permits polygamy under certain conditions and strict requirements, aiming to achieve marital goals of tranquility (sakīnah), affection (mawaddah), and compassion (raḥmah). However, stricter supervision and substantive legal reforms are necessary to reinforce these requirements and impose sanctions on violators.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects the growth and development of children, especially toddlers. One effective prevention effort is through nutritional education by introducing nutritious local food sources, such as red beans, which are rich in protein, fiber, and iron. This community service activity aims to increase public understanding, especially parents, regarding the importance of balanced nutrition and the use of red beans as an alternative nutrition in preventing stunting. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) through interactive counseling, demonstrations of red bean-based food processing, and evaluation of participant understanding before and after the activity. The results showed a significant increase in public nutritional knowledge and increased children's interest in consuming red beans. Local food-based nutritional education has proven to be an effective strategy in increasing public awareness of stunting prevention.
