Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui implementasi metode Jarimatika dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan faktor pendukung maupun penghambat metode jarimatika. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah prestasi belajar siswa dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data, terdapat tiga teknik yang digunakan, yaitu pengamatan, intervew, dan pencatatan. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, menunjukan bahwa implementasi metode jarimatika dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran matematika kelas II, maka peneliti dapat berikan kesimpulan bahwa berhitung perkalian dan penjumlahan menggunakan metode jarimatika efektif digunakan oleh siswa, dapat dilihat dari prestasi siswa lebih banyak siswa yang dapat perkalian dan penjumlahan.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a crucial role in laying the foundation for children's development, particularly in language skills. Speaking skills are essential for fostering critical thinking and communication abilities from an early age. This study aims to explore the application of image media in storytelling methods as a tool to enhance children's speaking skills at PAUD Aisyah, Pajar Tinggi Village, Pajar Bulan District, Lahat Regency. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in children's speaking skills following the implementation of image media. The children were able to articulate sentences more effectively and showed an increase in vocabulary usage. Image media proved to be effective in creating an engaging learning environment, motivating children to actively participate in learning activities. This study confirms that using image media in language learning at ECE can have a positive impact on the development of children's speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Friday prayer as a habitual effort to foster discipline among upper-grade students at Tahfidz Ababil Elementary School in Pagar Alam City, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through non-participant observation, structured interviews with supervising teachers and students, and documentation. Data analysis techniques refer to the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the habitual Friday prayer at Tahfidz Ababil Elementary School in Pagar Alam City has proven effective in fostering discipline among students. Students demonstrated active participation, punctuality, and an understanding of the importance of worship. Teachers played a central role as guides and role models, consistently instilling the values of discipline. Key supporting factors included active student involvement, full teacher support, and synergy between parents and the community. However, inhibiting factors also existed, such as a lack of participation among some students, less serious behavior during worship, and sometimes a lack of teacher firmness in supervision. Nevertheless, this program overall contributed significantly to strengthening character education and the continuous instilling of religious values and discipline in students. Abstract

This research seeks to pinpoint the challenges encountered by PAI educators and their resolutions in executing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMK PGRI Kota Pagar Alam. This research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology utilizing field research techniques. Information was gathered via observation, interviews, and documentation. The research sample consists of PAI teachers teaching in the 11th grade at SMK PGRI Kota Pagar Alam. The results of this research suggest that (1) there is a lack of understanding of P5 material due to limited training on the Merdeka Curriculum, (2) there is minimal use of interesting and relevant learning media, (3) there is low student engagement during learning activities, and (4) there are limitations in terms of human resources, facilities, and school budgets. In addressing these challenges, various solutions are proposed, including enhancing teacher training and guidance, developing more innovative teaching methods, implementing efficient classroom management, and providing full support from the school administration. These results aid in the advancement of Merdeka Curriculum implementation, particularly in integrating Pancasila values through PAI education. This study shows that the success of P5 implementation is greatly influenced by teacher readiness and school environment support.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of morning habituation activities in strengthening the memorization of the Qur'an of second-grade students at SD Islam Bunayya, Pagar Alam City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a field research approach. The subjects of the study were 20 second-grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with students, class teachers, and tahfidz teachers, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity testing was carried out by triangulation of sources, techniques, and member checks. The results of the study indicate that the morning habituation activities carried out every day at 07.00-07.15 WIB were not effective in strengthening students' memorization. This was due to the implementation duration being too short (15 minutes), the material being too dense and diverse, and the mismatch between the muraja'ah material (Surah Al-Ikhlas to An-Nas) and the memorization achievement of students who had already reached longer surahs such as Al-Mulk and Al-Bayyina. Supporting factors included the religious environment, active teacher involvement, and infrastructure availability. Inhibiting factors included low student discipline, time constraints, unpredictable weather, and lateness of teachers on duty. This study contributes to an evaluative perspective on the morning recitation program and suggests the need to adapt the material to students' memorization achievement levels

Abstract

Education is taken through several levels. The education levels in Indonesia include early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and higher education. The level of education must be passed sequentially, because the nature of the level of education is interrelated with each other. The purpose of this study is to know the process of the formation of student character values and to know the inhibiting supporting factors of Friday sharing activities. The type of research used is qualitative research, where researchers describe the results of research by detailing findings in the form of data obtained during the research process. The results obtained were The process of sharing Friday activities at SDN 10 Jarai showed positive results. Facilities and a series of activities available at the school support the implementation of these activities. The formation of student character values through the Friday Sharing program at SDN 10 Jarai has been effective in shaping student character values. Students are actively and enthusiastically engaged, demonstrating a positive understanding of character values such as discipline and caring. Contributing factors include positive interactions between students, the role of teachers in guiding and setting an example, and the important role of parents and society. Meanwhile, lack of student participation and parental support are inhibiting factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter toleransi pada siswa melalui pembelajaran tematik dan menggali faktor-faktor yang menghambat proses tersebut di kelas IV SDN 11 Tanjung Sakti Pumi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif, di mana sumber data diperoleh dan data primer serta skunder dikumpulkan secara langsung melalui permintaan, pertanyaan, wawancara, serta pengamatan langsung di lokasi penelitian dan dari berbagai referensi yang dimiliki peneliti untuk memperkuat hasil studi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter toleransi pada siswa merupakan hasil dari intervensi yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dan guru untuk membentuk karakter anak.
