Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of using video-based learning media on student learning motivation on fable story material at Tomosa Christian Private Junior High School. The background of the research shows that learning media can increase students' understanding and interest, but many teachers still do not utilize it optimally. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observation and written tests. The results showed that the use of videos as learning media was effective in increasing students' motivation and understanding. Videos help visualize fable material, make learning more interesting, and increase student engagement. In conclusion, video-based learning media has a significant positive impact on students' learning motivation, indicating that the integration of technology in education is essential to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of using video media in improving the writing skills of description text in class VII-1 students at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa. The learning method involving video media was applied during the research period, focusing on vocabulary development sentence structure, conformity of content to the title and understanding of context. This study used Classroom Action Research Design (PTK), the type of data collection used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The population of this study was all students in SMP Negeri 1 Alasa, while the subjects used in this study were students of class VII-1 as many as 28 people. The results showed a significant improvement in the quality of students' writing, indicating that the utilization of video media proved effective in improving the ability to write descriptive texts at that grade level.

Abstract

This article examines the impact of school facilities and infrastructure on students' learning motivation. Student learning motivation is one of the important elements in the success of education but is often hampered by inadequate facilities and infrastructure. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Botomuzoi using a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. The results of interviews and questionnaires show that the availability of good facilities and infrastructure makes a significant contribution to increasing student learning motivation. This study concludes that investment in school facilities and infrastructure is very important to create a conducive learning environment and increase student learning motivation.
