Abstract

Border regions in Indonesia are still often hit problems with other countries, and in other words it indicates weak military defense systems in the border area. Therefore, Indonesia needs to deploy some special forces on the frontier that uses advanced technology, one of them is the stealth technology. Radar absorbing material plays an important role in this technology. Chitosan and hydroxyapatite believed to resemble a good combination of new organic materials that can be developed as a radar absorbing material. The purpose of this study is to develop a prototype of organic radar absorbing material from chitosan-hydroxyapatite polymer composite. Quality characteristics of the material being analyzed are solution viscosity analysis, FTIR, SEM, material thickness, tensile strength. Ability of material to absorb radar waves was analyzed with reflection loss measurement. The prototype resembles a thin, transparent plastic sheet with a yellowish brown color. Values of thickness ranged from 0.14 to 0.17 mm. This material has a tensile strength values ranged from 1.41 ± 2.82 to 159.33 ± 106.33 kPa. SEM analysis showed a porous and homogeneous structure marked by good interaction between chitosan, PVA, and hydroxyapatite. Value of radar absorption by prototype shown with increasing the value of reflection loss. The optimum values obtained in the film with a mixture of chitosan prototype 2%, 5% PVA, and 0.04 gram hydroxyapatite with an average value of reflection loss -32.0907 ± 4.0763 dB.Keywords : chitosan, hydroxyapatite, polyvinyl alcohol, radar absorbing material, reflection loss

Abstract

All activities have been online since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Indonesia. IPB also supports government policy by partially locking down the campus area. Administrative activities are also in online mode. Online correspondence activities still require a signature as a form of validity and authentication of the letter. The scanned signature is different from the digital signature. Thus an application was made to create digital signatures. This application is named eSVi sign. This web-based application was made by using Prototype method. Prototype method consists of communication, planning and modeling quickly, making prototypes, submitting the system to users and feedback. This app uses a hash function with SHA256. Each signed document is assigned a hash value which is stored in storage. When the document is verified, the system will look for a hash value that matches the document in the database. The method to test this application was black box testing. This application can be accessed on the https://ipb.link/esvisign. This digital signature is only used within the College of Vocational Studies IPB University.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an alternative to cultivating plants and fish in one place. This technique integrates fish farming with plants. In this case, aquaponic plants utilize nutrients from fish waste. Plants in aquaponics function as a biofilter, which will reduce these toxic substances into substances that are not harmful to fish and supply oxygen to fish-keeping ponds. With this technique, there will be a symbiosis of mutualism or a mutually beneficial cycle. The advantages obtained are the efficiency of water use and the reduction of waste contamination resulting from disposal into public waters. The water recirculation period affects the quality and quantity of fish and plants produced. Turbidity for cultivation should be no more than 25 NTU. Therefore, this tool is designed to detect the turbidity value of fish pond water in order to know the time to drain the pond using a turbidity sensor and regulate water irrigation in aquaponic installations based on light intensity values so that water does not stagnate in the installation pipe. The manufacture of this tool uses several components, such as an Arduino as a microcontroller, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor functions to turn on and off the pump, turbidity sensor functions to determine the turbidity value of pool water, and water level sensor functions to adjust the water level when draining and filling. pond water. At pump 1, the water will turn on if the intensity value of the LDR sensor is 650. If the turbidity sensor value is 25 NTU, then pump 2 will turn on and dump pool water into the shelter. After the pond water is drained to the specified height level, pump 3 will turn on to fill the fish pond with water. Pump 3 will stop when the water level is > 665.

Abstract

Companies use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to integrate their business processes. One of the ERP applications is ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central. The method of transferring product and product stock data from Jubelio Omnichannel to ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central is still being done manually. This study integrates the Dynamics 365 ERP application with Jubelio Omnichannel to help process transactions. Integration between the two applications is made by adding the following features: automatic addition of product data from Jubelio Omnichannel to Dynamics 365 Business Central, creating an automatic product data transfer feature from Jubelio Omnichannel to Dynamics 365 Business Central, post adjustment feature to adjust product stock data from Dynamics 365 Business Central to Jubelio Omnichannel automatically, as well as the all adjustment feature for automatic withdrawal of product stock data from Jubelio Omnichannel to Dynamics 365 Business Central. The integration process also aims to make the product and product stock data formats from Jubelio match the data formats in Dynamics 365 Business Central. This research was conducted using the Scrum methodology. After integration, existing product data on Jubelio Omnichannel can be entered into Dynamics 365 Business Central items. In addition, inventory adjustments (post adjustments) can be made from Dynamics 365 Business Central to Jubelio Omnichannel. Transaction data from Jubelio can be directly pulled into Dynamics 365 Business Central. ABSTRAK Perusahaan menggunakan Enterprice Resource Planning (ERP) untuk mengintegrasikan proses bisnisnya, salah satu contohnya adalah ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central. Saat ini, proses pemindahan data product dan product stock dari Jubelio Omnichannel ke ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central masih dilakukan secara manual. Namun, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan aplikasi ERP Dynamics 365 dengan Jubelio Omnichannel untuk mempermudah proses transaksi. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menambahkan beberapa fitur, seperti penambahan data product secara otomatis dari Jubelio Omnichannel ke Dynamics 365 Business Central, transfer data product secara otomatis dari Jubelio Omnichannel ke Dynamics 365 Business Central, post adjustment untuk penyesuaian data product stock dari Dynamics 365 Business Central ke Jubelio Omnichannel secara otomatis, serta all adjustment untuk penarikan data product stock secara otomatis dari Jubelio Omnichannel ke Dynamics 365 Business Central. Tujuan dari proses integrasi ini adalah agar format data product dan product stock dari Jubelio sesuai dengan format data pada Dynamics 365 Business Central. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Scrum. Setelah proses integrasi selesai, data product dari Jubelio Omnichannel dapat masuk ke item Dynamics 365 Business Central dan dilakukan penyesuaian persediaan dari Dynamics 365 Business Central ke Jubelio Omnichannel. Selain itu, data transaksi dari Jubelio dapat langsung ditarik ke Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Abstract

Pendidikan vokasi mengutamakan keterampilan siswa, menekankan pembelajaran langsung, dan menyelenggarakan proses pembelajaran teoritis secara lebih efektif. Untuk memenuhi kompetensi mereka di bidang jaringan komputer, banyak Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (TKJ) memfasilitasi siswa bekerja menggunakan peralatan jaringan secara langsung. Sayangnya cara ini tidak terlalu efisien untuk mengajar di Laboratoriun Jaringan, terutama jika ukuran kelasnya sangat besar ataupun terkendala keterbatasan peralatan/ sarana jaringan komputer. Tujuan dari kegiatan "Pengabdian Masyarakat Dosen Pulang Kampung IPB" yang dilaksanakan di SMKS 5 Bhinneka Karya Boyolali ini adalah memberikan pilihan praktis dan murah untuk melakukan kegiatan praktikum jaringan komputer dengan cara membuat "Laboratorium Jaringan Virtual". Solusi yang diberikan telah membantu mengatasi masalah keterbatasan perangkat keras dan aksesibilitas yang ada di laboratorium jaringan. Laboratorium Jaringan Virtual memberi siswa kemampuan untuk menerapkan instance virtual perangkat jaringan secara nyata.

Abstract

The pellet molding machine has high efficiency to make it easier to process animal feed pellets. The pellet processing process requires a series of activities such as grinding, mixing, pelleting and drying. Therefore, research was carried out to identify the effect of convenience on the level of effectiveness of using an animal feed pellet printing machine. The method used in this research is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires via the Google Form platform. Validity tests, reliability tests and simple regression analysis are used to analyze the data obtained from filling out the questionnaire

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of users and the effectiveness of the Plastic Bottle Waste Compression Tool "Bottlepress" as an innovation in protecting the environment. The method used is a quantitative survey form using the Google Form platform in the form of a questionnaire to obtain a sample. Simple Linear Regression and Correlation methods were used as data analysis of this study.  The results of this study indicate that there is no influence between user convenience on compression tools with a greater significance α> 0.05, namely 0.373 and a regression coefficient of 0.167 units or 16.7% positive value.

Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate the influence of the effectiveness of image preprocessing-based artificial intelligence technology in detecting the ripeness level of tomatoes on user satisfaction and to discover correlations between them. The applied research method is quantitative, with data collected through the distribution of questionnaires to attendees of the IT Festival 2023 Expo held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Baranangsiang Campus, IPB. The data analysis methods used include Pearson correlation test, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, and T-test using SPSS 25.0 software. The test results indicate that the effectiveness of image preprocessing-based artificial intelligence technology has a positive and significant impact on detecting the ripeness level of tomatoes

Abstract

This research brings the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) in creating the Apilastic Robot, a device that aims to reduce customer losses by identifying the causes of rejected items, particularly in frequently returned cups. Through qualitative data collection from a case study with the researcher as the human instrument, the research objective was to develop a device that can recognize the type of damage on the glass, provide support to the user to identify the source of the problem, and take appropriate steps. The results of the analysis showed that product effectiveness had the greatest influence on tool usage satisfaction, explaining 77.2% of the variability in tool effectiveness. It is expected that these findings provide support to users in troubleshooting frequently returned glassware with root cause identification and appropriate steps.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how satisfied users are with the functionality of the IoT-based “BottlePress” plastic bottle waste compression tool. This research uses a survey method with quantitative research with a sampling technique, namely distributing online questionnaires via Google Form. A simple regression test was used to analyze data obtained from filling out the questionnaire. According to the research findings, most users are satisfied with the performance of the IoT-based “BottlePress” plastic bottle waste compression tool.
